An invariant analytic orthonormalization procedure with applications
We apply the orthonormalization procedure previously introduced by Bagarello and Triolo [J. Math. Phys. 48, 043505 (2007)] and adopted in connection with coherent states to Gabor frames and other examples. For instance, for Gabor frames, we show how to construct g(x) ∈ L 2(R) in such a way the functions gn(x)=e ian1xg(x+an2), n ∈ Z2 and a some positive real number, are mutually orthogonal. We discuss in some detail the role of the lattice naturally associated with the procedure in this analysis
Mixing properties for mechanical motion of a charged particle in a random medium
We study a one-dimensional semi-infinite system of particles driven by a constant positive force F which acts only on the leftmost particle of mass M, called the heavy particle (the h.p.), and all other particles are mechanically identical and have the same mass m ( M. Particles interact through elastic collisions. At initial time all neutral particles are at rest, and the initial measure is such that the interparticle distances xi (i) are i.i.d. r.v. Under conditions on the distribution of xi which imply that the minimal velocity obtained by each neutral particle after the first interaction with the h.p. is bigger than the drift of an associated Markovian dynamics tin which each neutral particle is annihilated after the first collision) we prove that the dynamics has a strong cluster property, and as a consequence, we prove existence of the discrete time limit distribution for the system as seen from the first particle, a psi -mixing property, a drift velocity, as well af the central limit theorem for the tracer particle

Bollettino di matematica pura e applicata. Vol. 11: Atti dell'International Conference on Topological Algebras and Their Applications (ICTAA) 2022
The papers injcluded in this volume contain the contributions given by several participants to the
International Conference on Topological Algebras and Applications (ICTAA2022) organized on
line by the Department of Mathematics and Computer Science of Palermo University (Italy) in
the period August 31 - September 2, 2022.
The conference was expected to be attended in presence but the aftermath of the COVID19
pandemic and the general political situation suggested converting this event to an online meeting.
ICTAA2022 has been the thirteenth of a series begun in 1999 in Tartu (Estonia). The subjects
covered in the conference were the traditional ones: Categories of Topological Algebras,
Topological Rings, Topological Linear Spaces, Topological Modules, Topological Groups and
Semigroups, Bornological Structures, Sheaf Theory, Bundle Theory, Topological K-theory,
Operator algebras etc.
Thirty mathematicians, from thirteen countries, participated to the meeting and almost all
presented the results of their recent research during the meeting.
We thank all participants and speakers for their cooperation in making of ICTAA2022 a successful
event from the scientific point of view.
Unfortunately, all the aspects of sociability that usually accompany a conference were missing,
but this did not depend on the will of the organizers or on that one of the participants.
We hope that the next ICTAA will be a real occasion of meeting personally old and new colleagues
and friends working in the field of Topological Algebras and Applications.
A special thank is due to Dr. Giuseppe Russo for his technical help which made possible the
organization of ICTAA2022 on-lin

Locally convex quasi *-algebras with sufficiently many *-representations
The main aim of this paper is the investigation of conditions under which a locally convex quasi ⁎-algebra (A[τ],A0) attains sufficiently many (τ,tw)-continuous ⁎-representations in L†(D,H), to separate its points. Having achieved this, a usual notion of bounded elements on A[τ] rises. On the other hand, a natural order exists on (A[τ],A0) related to the topology τ, that also leads to a kind of bounded elements, which we call “order bounded”. What is important is that under certain conditions the latter notion of boundedness coincides with the usual one. Several nice properties of order bounded elements are extracted that enrich the structure of locally convex quasi ⁎-algebra
