Observation of Ξ (1620)0 and Evidence for Ξ (1690)0 in Ξc+ → Ξ-π+π+ Decays
We report the first observation of the double strange baryon Ξ(1620)0 in its decay to Ξ-π+ via Ξc+→Ξ-π+π+ decays based on a 980 fb-1 data sample collected with the Belle detector at the KEKB asymmetric-energy e+e- collider. The mass and width are measured to be 1610.4±6.0(stat)-4.2+6.1 (syst) MeV/c2 and 59.9±4.8(stat)-7.1+2.8(syst) MeV, respectively. We obtain 4.0σ evidence of the Ξ(1690)0 with the same data sample. These results shed light on the structure of hyperon resonances with strangeness S=-2

Production cross sections of light and charmed mesons in e+e- annihilation near 10.58 GeV
We report measurements of production cross sections for +, 0, , *+, *0, , , 0, 0(980), +, 0, +, *+, *0, and *+ in +− collisions at a center-of-mass energy near 10.58 GeV. The data were recorded by the Belle experiment, consisting of 571 fb−1 at 10.58 GeV and 74 fb−1 at 10.52 GeV. Production cross sections are extracted as a function of the fractional hadron momentum . The measurements are compared to pythia Monte Carlo generator predictions with various fragmentation settings, including those that have increased fragmentation into vector mesons over pseudoscalar mesons. The cross sections measured for light hadrons are consistent with no additional increase of vector over pseudoscalar mesons. The charmed-meson cross sections are compared to earlier measurements—when available—including older Belle results, which they supersede. They are in agreement before application of an improved initial-state radiation correction procedure that causes slight changes in their shapes.Authors:

Production cross sections of hyperons and charmed baryons from e(+)e(-) annihilation near root s=10.52 GeV
We measure the inclusive production cross sections of hyperons and charmed baryons from e(+)e(-) annihilation using a 800 fb(-1) data sample taken near the gamma(4S) resonance with the Belle detector at the KEKB asymmetric-energy e(+)e(-) collider. The feed-down contributions from heavy particles are subtracted using our data, and the direct production cross sections are presented for the first time. The production cross sections divided by the number of spin states for S = -1 hyperons follow an exponential function with a single slope parameter except for the Sigma(1385)(+) resonance. Suppression for Sigma(1385)(+) and Xi(1530)(0) hyperons is observed. Among the production cross sections of charmed baryons, a factor of 3 difference for Lambda(+)(c) states over Sigma(c) states is observed. This observation suggests a diquark structure for these baryons. We thank the KEKB group for the excellent operation of the accelerator; the KEK cryogenics group for the efficient operation of the solenoid; and the KEK computer group, the National Institute of Informatics, and the PNNL/EMSL computing group for valuable computing and SINET5 network support. First measurement of the Λc+ → pη′ decay
We present the first measurement of the branching fraction of the singly Cabibbo-suppressed (SCS) decay → pη′ with η′ → ηπ+π−, using a data sample corresponding to an integrated luminosity of 981 fb−1, collected by the Belle detector at the KEKB e+e− asymmetric-energy collider. A significant → pη′ signal is observed for the first time with a signal significance of 5.4σ. The relative branching fraction with respect to the normalization mode → pK−π+ is measured to beBΛc+→pη′BΛc+→pK−π+=7.54±1.32±0.73×10−3,全ての著者は下記の通り。

Search for hb (2P) →γχbJ (1P) at s =10.860 GeV
In the bottomonium sector, the hindered magnetic dipole transitions between P-wave states ℎ(2)→(1), =0, 1, 2, are expected to be severely suppressed according to the relativized quark model, due to the spin flip of the quark. Nevertheless, a recent model following the coupled-channel approach predicts the corresponding branching fractions to be enhanced by orders of magnitude. In this Letter, we report the first search for such transitions. We find no significant signals and set upper limits at 90% confidence level on the corresponding branching fractions: ℬ[ℎ(2)→0(1)]<2.7×10−1, ℬ[ℎ(2)→1(1)]<5.4×10−3 and ℬ[ℎ(2)→2(1)]<1.3×10−2. These values help to constrain the parameters of the coupled-channel models. The results are obtained using a 121.4 fb−1 data sample taken around √ =10.860 GeV with the Belle detector at the KEKB asymmetric-energy +− collider.Authors:
