No full textIn questo lavoro vogliamo tentare un approccio basato sulla determinazione del flusso circolare del reddito che è implicito nel modello descrittivo integrato, proponendo un metodo di analisi basato sul concetto di moltiplicatore compatibile con tale flusso circolare esteso.
L’apertura della analisi macroeconomica al punto di vista multisettoriale non può prescindere dalle implicazioni macroeconomiche aggregate dei risultati multisettoriali, oggi percepiti come cruciali tenuto conto che l’analisi multisettoriale si sta sviluppando anche in termini di allargamento dello schema verso altri aspetti del contesto socio economico in termini di contabilità sociale

No full textIl volume raccoglie alcuni saggi sull'economia italiana scritti in onore di Guido M. Rey. I lavori presentati sono stati divisi in tre parti. La prima, dedicata ai modelli econometrici e input output, la seconda parte tratta alcuni problemi dio misurazione statistica, dal Rapporto Moser al rapporto Stiglitz, che emergono nel ricorso crescente ai dati amministrativi e, in particolare, a quelli fiscali. La terza parte è dedicata a una rilettura dei problemi della crescita e ai nodi strutturali dell'economia italiana. Questi temi, su cui Guido Rey ha scritto molto, indicano che la politica economioca italiana di oggi è certamente il risultato di scelte contemporanee , ma è anche il culmine di un processo storico il cui svolgersi risale indietro nel tempo

No full textThe analysis of the IRE reform cannot be simply limited to describe the fiscal saving for the different categories of income collectors. The main implication of such reform it would be the impulse for the whole economy through the support to the final demand of consumption. The attention should be moved to the possible economic effects, that can be considered in disaggregated terms, both for productive attivities and institutional sectors. Such fiscal politic should produce effects on the industrial production through the enhanced disposable income, which produces new final demand. In the following analysis we will use a multisectorial extensive model, useful to describe the whole income circular flow; in this way we can estimate the impact on the industrial production of the IRE reform and we will analyze potential alternative scenarios, describing various politic’s options that can be realized with same amount of fiscal resources
Evaluating the impact of Violence Against Women in the macroeconomic Input–Output framework
No full textViolence against women and girls (VAW&G) has progressively become an emergency issue in many European countries and a relevant topic of public discussion. In this paper, we attempt to insert this theme within a model for macroeconomic policy design and evaluation. Special attention is devoted to the assessment of distortions in the allocation of public expenditure generated by VAW&G, in terms of gains and losses in aggregate total output. We adopt a macroeconomic input–output approach by adding to the framework an industry that produces care services to victims of VAW&G. The resulting model is integrated with the public expenditure reallocations that emerge as a result of the progressive elimination of violence. It is, thus, a simulation tool for determining total output gains or losses that emerge from the reallocation of public expenditures as VAW&G fades
