«You Will Remain in the World as a Monk»: the Motive of Obedience and Asceticism in Dostoevsky's World. To the 200th Anniversary of the Russian Genius
The idea of salvation in the world sets the theme of the hermitage and the world, monasticism in the world, worldly holiness in culture. Monasticism is seen as a state of mind regardless of status. The article examines the artistic images of monks in the world. Two Dostoevsky novels "The Idiot" and "Crime and Punishment" are considered. It is proved that in the novel "Idiot" the main character acts as a visionary mystic and a missionary ascetic, he is positively beautiful in everything, excessively gifted with a sense of truth, beauty, tact, harmony. The author's thought is organized multilevel and dynamically, revealed in a triad: thesis, antithesis, synthesis. In the image of Alyosha Karamazov the idea of "about a Christian" is embodied, which the historical reality and personality type did not allow the author to fully realize in Myshkin. Any creation is not only the face of the author in his mobile reality, but also the outcome from it, a creative meta-idea
Problem benzodiazepine use in Ireland: treatment (2003 to 2008) and deaths (1998 to 2007). Appendix. HRB Trends Series 9.
There has been an increase in the number of cases* presenting for treatment, and people dying, as a result of misuse of sedatives (benzodiazepines), such as diazepam, in recent years.
The latest figures presented by the Health Research Board (HRB) indicate that the annual number of cases treated for problem benzodiazepine use has increased by just over 63%, from 1,054 in 2003 to 1,719 in 2008. These prescription drugs were also implicated in nearly one third of all deaths by drug poisoning between 1998 and 2007, with the annual number of deaths, rising from 65 in 1998 to 88 in 2007.
According to Dr Suzi Lyons, senior researcher at the HRB, the increases could reflect a combination of factors: an increase in the number of available treatment places, an increase in use of this drug in the population or an increase in the number of treatment centres reporting to the HRB National Drug Treatment Reporting System.
‘Benzodiazepines are prescription drugs which are legitimately used to treat a range of conditions such as anxiety, insomnia and seizures. However, while they are considered safe for short term use, the risk of overuse, abuse and dependence is well documented. There also needs to be a greater awareness among prescribers and users of the potentially fatal effects of benzodiazepines when used with other substances,’ says Dr Lyons

This study analyzes the influences that John Reuel Tolkien received to produce his romance, intrinsic to the author\u27s personal story and to his instinct of fiction or to pre-established cultural aspects, arising from wonder tales and ancient rituals. More specifically, it was necessary to analyze the historical life of the author and the relationship it had with his writing, and also think about the writers absorption and re-signification of reasons, rituals, ethical and moral values, consciously or not. These goals were accomplished with a survey on the authors personal data and his biography, through letters and prefaces of the trilogy written by him. Terefore, it was possible to investigate his apparent relation to the Sacred in this case, the Catholic religion and the First World War, a scenario where he took part. The main bibliographic reference was Fiction and Reason, written by Suzi Sperber, that deal with the issue of the instinct of fiction discussing the human need to produce fiction based on their own reality as an individual and taking into account our ancestral reality
