A method to minimize test times for accelerated testing of pHEMT's by analysis of the elctronic fingerprint of the initial stage of degradation
No full textAccelerated life testing provides a necessary tool for reliability validation but is generally very time-consuming as standard test take up to 2000 hours to proceed. In this article, results on the early stages of the ageing of pHEMT transistors are presented and it is shown that the necessary test time can be decreased from 2000 hours to 144 hours without loss of data confidence. This has been enabled by the application of an insitu measurement method where the ageing of the device under test is characterized during the stress phase. Two main degradation factors can be identified in good agreement with findings reported in literature. The data have been successfully correlated with standard test results performed on a 2000 hours time scale

No full textThe author analyses the evolution of the main organs of government, focusing on the Colateral Councils in Flanders during 16th and 17th centuries. Law professionals and technocrats on public finance took the place of old nobility, this fact is important to understand their position in the Rebellion. He stops to comment on the status of the civil servant (appointment, family, relations in administration, the sale of papers, etc.). And concludes that in spite of all progress made, the classical representation of the concept of burocracy was not attained at that time.El autor analiza la evolución de los principales órganos de gobierno, fundamentalmente los llamados Consejos Colaterales en el Flandes regio durante los siglos XVI y XVII. Señala con claridad cómo los profesionales del derecho o los tecnócratas en el campo de la Hacienda van desplazando a la vieja nobleza, desplazamiento que quizá haya que tener en cuenta para explicar su posición en la Rebelión. Se detiene en el estatuto del funcionario (nombramiento, relaciones familiares en el seno de la administración, en la venta de oficios, etc.). Y concluye que, a pesar de los muchos avances, no se consigue por estas fechas la representación clásica del concepto de “burocracia”

No full textIn dit proefschrift, met als ti tel : 'Kwantificatie van hoofdelementen met behulp van moleculaire ionen in Secundaire Ionen Massaspectrometrie ', worden twee technieken voorgesteld en besproken, om de kwantitatieve materiaalkarakterisatie van de Secundaire Ionen Massaspectrometrietechniek (SIMS-techniek) te verbeteren. Het onderzoeksgebied waarbinnen de SIMS-techniek wordt aangewend is vrij breed. De SIMS-techniek is algemeen verspreid binnen de micro-elektronicasector waar kwantitatieve profileringen van zowel onzuiverheids- als doperingselementen uiterst belangrijk zijn. Verder wordt de SIMS-techniek ook meer en meer aangewend in andere sectoren binnen de materiaalwetenschappen waar interfaceverschijnselen een belangrijke rol spelen. De Secundaire Ionen Massa Spectrometrie (SIMS), is een analytische techniek gebaseerd op bet sputterproces. Met behulp van een primaire ionenbundel worden deeltjes van het te onderzoeken monster gesputterd. Deze gesputterde deeltjes zijn atomen of moleculen en komen voor in zowel een neutrale, geëxciteerde als geïoniseerde toestand. Vervolgens worden de geïoniseerde deeltjes gedetecteerd m.b.v. een massaspectrometer. Ten gevolge van de erosie van het monster door bet ionenbombardement, kunnen diepteprofileringen worden opgemeten door de ionenintensiteiten i.f.v. de tijd te registreren
