    On May 29th, 2013 the Accademia Nazionale di San Luca held a Symposium on Architectural Drawing, curated by Maria Cristina Loi and Francesco Moschini. James Ackerman and Rafael Moneo, two illustrious Academics of international reputation, were invited to discuss the use of drawing in modern design, a topic that is at the center of today’s academic debate. James Ackerman and Rafael Moneo: on one side is an Art Historian, who uses drawing to understand the history of a building by analyzing, re-drawing, re-designing and interpreting the ancient documents; on the other an architect who consistently uses drawing in his work, through all phases of the design process. Each of them held a conferences, followed by a conversation between the two that sparked an interesting discussion between them and the audience.The publication includes : an essay by Maria Cristina Loi and Francesco Moschini; an essay by Rafaela Moneo; an essay by James Ackerman; a critical synthesis of the debate

    An ethnobotanical comparison between two small communities of Sardinia (Escolca and Lotzorai) has been completed. The results indicate the use of a large number of plants for self-medication of easily resolved pathologies. Indices have been applied to identify the phytotherapeutic consensus of the two communes in numerical terms

    This contribution presents the results of the floristic research carried out on Monte Perda 'e Liana, one the most characteristic Mesozoic calcareous formations of centre-eastern sardinia. The found floristic component 247 taxa that can be sscribed to 57 families and 176 genera. The endemic quota is made up of 44 species or 17,81% of the local fora mostly ascribed to the sardinian sector. The analysis of the biological forms has pointed out a high percentage of hemicryptophytes and therophytes, while the chorological spectrum has shown the dominance of steno and euri mediterranean elements

Loi). A partire dai progetti urbani di K. F. Schinkel per Berlino, il contributo si concentra sulla logica puntuale d'intervento sulla città barocca e sull'assunzione di un nuovo lessico elementare nel progetto qui in particolare analizzato (l'Altes Museum), a partire dalla riflessione e distillazione degli elementi tipologici e costruttivi dell'architettura greco-romana e rinascimentale (Stoà, Patheon, Galleria)
