“Lovecidal: Walking with the Disappeared is filled with provocation and guided by evocation. Encompassing various forms (poetry, treatise, memoir, and historiography) and capaciously conceived, Trinh T. Minh-ha’s contemplation of war, state-authorized violence, state-sanctioned ‘security,’ and international amnesia is skillfully tempered by observations of beauty, humanity, and resistance. To say that this is an important book is in many ways an understatement; rather, Lovecidal is transformative.” —Cathy Schlund-Vials, author of War, Genocide, and Justice: Cambodian American Memory Wor

D-Passage is a unique book by the world-renowned filmmaker, artist, and critical theorist Trinh T. Minh-ha. Taking as grounding forces her feature film Night Passage and installation L'Autre marche (The Other Walk), both co-created with Jean-Paul Bourdier, she discusses the impact of new technology on cinema culture and explores its effects on creative practice. Less a medium than a "way," the digital is here featured in its mobile, transformative passages. Trinh's reflections shed light on several of her major themes: temporality; transitions; transcultural encounters; ways of seeing and knowing; and the implications of the media used, the artistic practices engaged in, and the representations created. In D-Passage, form and structure, rhythm and movement, and language and imagery are inseparable. The book integrates essays, artistic statements, in-depth conversations, the script of Night Passage, movie stills, photos, and sketches.About The Author:Trinh T. The illustrations in this colorful slick paperback book almost 6 square seem to me to repeat some I have seen elsewhere, but I cannot yet be sure about a match. There are six stories presented. In each, the text is on the left-hand pages, along with a small iconic illustration in the lower left corner. The right-hand page is a full-page colored illustration in vibrant colors. I recognize FC, which provides the cover illustration; The Donkey and the Wolf; SS; OF; GA; and FK. In this latter story, the god actually walks up to the pond and drops a log into it (42). The grasshopper in GA turns blue in winter.Language note: VietnameseOriginal language: grcNarrated by Trinh Xuan Hoan

The idea of an agricultural cooperative originated in the minds of people who wanted to connect small local farmers. The aim was to create a community in which members supported each other, passed on knowledge about gardening and disseminated information to lay people. The community is opening up to the general public with a growing interest in local products. The agricultural cooperative organizes vegetable and fruit markets throughout the year, publishes informative magazines, runs websites, and organizes workshops and other events. With the growing activity, small, rented premises were no longer enough for the cooperative. It was necessary to find your own background. Their new goal was to create a place for farmers belonging to the general public to sell and sell their products, while also serving as an educational center for the general public

Výsledkem je návrh, který se snaží nabídnout modelovou odpověď na širší výzvy spojené s přítomností etnicky specifických enkláv v rámci evropských měst.TTTM Sapa, located on the southeastern edge of Prague, represents a unique urban phenomenon in the Czech context. It is both a wholesale complex and a vibrant community hub for the Vietnamese population. This space with its own rhythm, economy, and cultural identity emerged spontaneously from the 1990s through the transformation of former industrial sites, without support from official urban planning. Over time, it has developed into the largest cultural and commercial enclave outside the city center. Originally a closed and inward-facing area serving primarily the needs of the community, it is now gradually beginning to open up to the wider public. The growing interest in Vietnamese culture and cuisine, along with the changing needs of its users, creates an opportunity to reconsider its future. The aim of the proposal is to explore the possibilities and strategies for transforming Sapa into a contemporary urban district that retains its cultural identity while becoming an integral part of the city. The project aspires to create a space where different cultures naturally intertwine, community bonds are strengthened, and integration is supported in the broadest sense. At the same time, the work addresses issues of scale and boundaries, physical, social, and symbolic. It examines the limits of the current urban structure, the possibilities for its development, and the tools that can be used for its refinement. The result is a design that seeks to offer a model response to the broader challenges associated with the presence of ethnically specific enclaves within European cities
