Maa (BPBM) The species was not examined by author, the following description is from Medler (1992). Anterior margin of vertex convex, angled at 135 ° (Fig. 2); frons oval, dorsal margin thickened, U-shaped carina indicated weakly (Fig. 1). Tegmen postclaval sutural margin extended from apex of clavus at angle of 175 °, meeting apical margin at angle of 95 ° (Fig. 3); margin normally red or red orange, black spots absent, or if present, then restricted to postclaval sutural margin; well developed submarginal line of crossveins, submarginal area narrow, 0.5 mm wide. Holotype genitalia illustrated (Fig. 4). Allotype valvulae III with single row of six strong teeth closely inserted along ventral margin. Distribution: Burma, Indonesia, Malaysia, Thailand, Vietnam.Published as part of Zhang, Ya-Lin, Peng, Ling-Fei & Wang, Ying-Lun, 2010, Review of the planthopper genus Amasha Medler (Hemiptera: Fulgoromorpha: Flatidae: Phyllyphantini) with description of one new species from China, pp. 61-68 in Zootaxa 2664 on page 63, DOI: 10.5281/zenodo.27634

Amasha abrupta Medler (Figs. 5–6) Amasha abrupta Medler, 1992: 26. Holotype, female, Carriedo Rest House, 20 km SW of Davao, Mindanao, Philippines, 1000m, 1–7.xi. 1965, David (USNM) The species was not examined by author, the following description is from Medler (1992). Differs from congeners in short length of truncate vertex (Fig. 6); frons truncate dorsally, margin formed by broad U-shaped carina which medially terminates longitudinal frontal carina (Fig. 5). Postclaval sutural margin extended at angle of 165 ° from claval apex, meeting apical margin at angle of 65 °; numerous closely spaced terminal veins in submarginal area; submarginal area 0.5 mm wide. Tegmen ochreous, color obscured by dusting of white waxy powder, veins dull green, margin narrowly red, without black spots or lines. Holotype valvulae III with row of heavy spines on ventral margin, same as seen in A. decepta. Distribution: Philippines.Published as part of Zhang, Ya-Lin, Peng, Ling-Fei & Wang, Ying-Lun, 2010, Review of the planthopper genus Amasha Medler (Hemiptera: Fulgoromorpha: Flatidae: Phyllyphantini) with description of one new species from China, pp. 61-68 in Zootaxa 2664 on page 63, DOI: 10.5281/zenodo.27634
