    The section presents the Chinese translation of four poems by Milo De Angelis, who is among the best Italian contemporary poets. The poems are taken from the collection "Incontri e agguati" (Mondadori, 201 5). The texts are both in Italian and Chinese in parallel text. Yang Lin, with the help of Geng Jiang (Chinese musician and poet), took care of the translation. The section opens with a note made by the translation group that analyses the processes of the transposition of the dense poetic language of De Angelis into the Chinese language. There follows an enlightening letter from Milo De Angelis to the translation group. The four poems in Chinese and Italian complete the section

    On Lin Tai-yu --Beyond Everyday Dissolution

    There have been two main opposing schools of thought evident in the field of Hung-lou Meng ('Dream of the Red Chamber', 'Story of the Stone') research hitherto : the 'Aestheticist, or Autobiographical Theory ' party and the 'Realistic, or Reconstruction of Socioeconomic History' party. The tendency, apparent in both schools, has been to snip out those parts of the work which seemed suitable, string them together arbitrarily, and then to brandish them as the decisive evidense. One cannot but feel wearied and repulsed by the appearance of this sort of baseless theoretical sterility. With the intention of fundamentally controverting this theoretical sterility from a completely different angle, this article deals with the individual character in the Hung-lou Meng upon whom the most acute problem of 'dissolution' bears-Lin Tai-yü. This has seemed a major key to getting a new grasp on the Hung-lou Meng as a whole, by going beyond the level of either the 'two beauties combined in one' theory, in which Tai-yü is joined with Hsüeh Pao-ch'ai, as advocated by the autobiographical school, or the 'theory of the opposition of Tai-yü and Pao-ch'ai' put forward by the 'reconstruction of the underlying structure' party. Surely, a person who must go on living under the constraint of whatever sort of 'circumstances' would crush this sort of 'ism' or 'theory' chatter just in the act of pulling free of them, even if they had no conscious awareness of the concept of 'circumstances'. The true importance of Lin Tai-yü is that she continued to resist assimilation towards that, even while gasping for the importance of everyone who had found a reasonable way of living under the circumstances by which they were constrained. This may have been felt by the author, Ts'ao Hsüeh-ch'in 曹雪芹, among the people by whom he was surrounded at the moment of writing, and one might say that it is something closely connected with a fundamental fault-line. 'Dissolution' in the Hung-lou Meng is more than merely a 'death and annihilation wish' on the part of Ts'ao Hsüeh-ch'in, and has a more lively force (for Ts'ao Hsüeh-ch'in, in the tenacity with which he went on 'writing', continuously came up against the 'monotony' which 'circumstances' force on human beings) and thus, the death of Lin Tai-yü is not basically disposed of by treating it as 'deathpreserving Beauty', not can it be seen as the 'death of a rebel'. In so far as the difficulty of things connected with the essence of 'circumstances' is not thoroughly understood, neither the Hung-lou Meng nor Ts'ao Hsüeh-ch'in can be truly reached

    ABSTRAK Sistem kontrol merupakan suatu sistem yang menjadi pusat perhatian di bidang robotika. Dimana dengan adanya sistem kontrol ini, robot bisa menjadi lebih cerdas dan canggih. Pada proyek akhir ini akan dibangun sebuah sistem kontrol inverted pendulum pada mobile robot. Inverted pendulum adalah pendulum yang mempunyai titik berat diatas titik tumpunya. Balancing Robot ini selalu menyetimbangkan sistemnya agar pendulum tetap tegak. Sebagai deteksi kemiringan antara robot dengan lantai digunakan sensor Sharp GP2D12. Sensor ini mempunyai output tegangan analog. Data dari sensor ini akan diolah oleh Mikrokontroler ATMega 16. Karena data yang dibawa oleh Sharp GP2D12 ini mempunyai noise, maka data harus difilter. Filter yang dipakai adalah Single Exponential Filter yang bisa mereduksi noise secara optimal disamping juga mempunyai respon waktu yang cepat. Setelah selesai pemrosesan, data diolah dengan menggunakan kontrol PID. Dengan sistem kontrol ini, robot akan bergerak maju mundur searah dengan arah gerak jatuhnya pendulum. Prosentase keberhasilan kontrol PID pada robot ini adalah 90% dengan robot tidak pernah jatuh tetapi berosilasi kecil.     [[abstract]]Effects of Tai-Chi on Health Related Physical Fitness and Balanceof Senior High School Students June 2006 Student: Li-Hua Tsai Advisor: Jung-Charng Lin The purpose of this study was to investigate eight weeks Tai Chi Class of senior high school students on health related physical fitness and balance. Subjects were 60 male students of San-Min Senior High School in Taipei County. Tai Chi group (TCG) and Control group (CG) received Tai Chi practice and regular PE activity respectively. BMI, Sit and Reach, Stand Long Jumping, Sit Up, 1600 m run, dynamic balance and static balance tests were evaluated before and after eight week period. Significant level was set at .05. The results indicated that eight weeks of Tai Chi practice significantly improved all the investigated variables except of Body Mass Index (BMI). After eight weeks of training, TCG was significantly better than CG except for BMI. The study concluded that Tai Chi Class significantly improves health related physical fitness and balance ability. Besides, TCG was found to be more effective for improving health related physical fitness and balance than regular physical activity class.     A focused view of the behavior of granular flows down a confined inclined chute into the horizontal run-out zone

    [[abstract]]In this paper a detailed approach is proposed for the behavior of two-dimensional cohesionless granular materials moving down a confined inclined plane chute into the horizontal run-out zone, where the upslope propagating bore is treated as a growing deposition heap. It deals with the theoretical-numerical and experimental treatments. The depth-averaged field equations of balance of mass and linear momentum are described in moving coordinates for general topography as prescribed by Tai and Kuo [Acta Mech. 199, 71 (2008)]. A most simplistic approach to the erosion/deposition parameterization is proposed and the spatial coordinate coincides with the arc length of the variable basal surface. These equations describe the temporal evolution of the depth and velocity of the granular mass, especially the locations and shapes of the growing deposition heaps beneath the flowing layer. Experiments were carried out with different material supply rates and in two types of chutes, which differed by the bottom surface of the chute. In these experiments the sequential motions of the granular mass were recorded by a high-speed digital camera. The outlines of the deposition heap and flowing layers were obtained by successive images differences. Comparison of the experimental findings with the computational results proved to lead to good correspondence between experiment and theory.
