Distribution of MTHFR and MTRR polymorphisms in Han and Buyi women at Libo county of Guizhou province
Objective To conduct molecular epidemiological investigations on Han and Buyi women at Libo county of Guizhou province aiming for the identification of genetic polymorphisms coding the key enzymes for folate metabolism MTHFR and MTRR. Methods A total of 1 342 healthy women who received perinatal health care at the People's Hospital of Libo county were recruited, including 236 Han people and 1 106 Buyi people. Oral mucosal epithelial exfoliated cells were collected for genomic DNA extraction, MTHFR C677T, A1298C, and MTRR A66G gene polymorphisms were examined with quantitative PCR for statistical analysis. Results 1)The genetic polymorphism distribution of the subjects was in line with genetic balance. 2)The genotype frequency of MTHFR 677CC, CT, and TT of Han women was 49.6%, 39.8%, and 10.6% respectively, and that of Buyi women were 61.8%,33.7% and 4.4%. The frequencies were 62.3%, 33.1%, 4.7%, and Buyi females were 47.4%, 42.9%, and 9.7%, both points are significantly different(P<0.05). The genotype frequencies of MTRR 66AA, AG, and GG of Han women were 56.4%, 37.4%, and 5.9%, respectively, and that of Buyi women were 57.0%, 36.0%, and 7.1%, with no difference. 3)Han and Buyi women MTHFR C677T and A1 298C had 6 combinations of two-point linkage without CT/CC, TT/AC and TT/CC. The highest frequency of Han women was CT/AA, and the highest frequency of Buyi women was CC/AC. The haplotype constructed by the two loci had three combinations of CA, TA, and CC, and there was a complete linkage disequilibrium between the two loci. Conclusions The genetic characterization of MTHFR and MTRR polymorphisms in Han and Buyi women at Libo county provides a basis for guiding folic acid supplementation and implementation of personalized pregnancy health care

A Study on the mathematics textbooks in the era of the Great Han Empire
This paper aims to make a whole list of the mathematics textbooks in the era of the Great Han Empire and summerize bibliographical data and linguistic characteristics in view of Korean history. In chapter 1, the author reviewed former studies which deals with the mathematics textbooks in the era of the Great Han Empire. In chapter 2, the author summerized bibliographical data of 45 volumes of 32 kinds textbooks. In chapter 3, the author described linguistic characteristics of the textbooks, especially focusing on writing systems, the use of Arabic numerals, horizontal writing, and presence of index or glossary
Also By The Same Author: AKTiveAuthor, a Citation Graph Approach to Name Disambiguation
The desire for definitive data and the semantic web drive for inference over heterogeneous data sources requires co-reference resolution to be performed on those data. In particular, name disambiguation is required to allow accurate publication lists, citation counts and impact measures to be determined. This paper describes a graph-based approach to author disambiguation on large-scale citation networks. Using self-citation, co-authorship and document source analyses, AKTiveAuthor clusters papers, achieving precision of 0.997 and recall of 0.818 over a test group of eight surname clusters

Fastigium verticis conical, projecting forwards, apex obtusely rounded, with a longitudinal shallow sulcus. Eyes globular, protruding outwards. Maxillary palpi long, length of apical segment as subapical one, apex slightly widened. Tegmina narrowly long, surpassing apices of postfemora, apices rounded; hind wings longer than tegmina. Posterior margin of tenth abdominal tergite elongated backwards, forming a long middle posterior process, curving downwards, base thick, apical area depressed, apex obtusely rounded (Fig. 1 C–D); left lateral margin near middle area of posterior process with an incision. Base of cercus stout, with a short process on inner margin of ventral surface, apex obtusely rounded; with a small acute process near middle area of inner margin; apical half slightly broadened, curved inwards, separated into two lobes, dorsal lobe short, apex conical; ventral lobe of left and right cercus with different structure, left cercus with apex lamellar, subapex with a small branch (Fig. 1 E); right cercus with apex depressed, separated into two branches in apex. The new species is allied to Xiphidiopsis (Xiphidiopsis) bituberculata Ebner, 1939 (Fig. 4), but it differs from the latter in: posterior process of male tenth abdominal tergite asymmetric, with one incision on the left margin near middle area; dorsal lobe of cercus conical, apex of ventral lobe with branches. Etymology. The name of the new species is derived from posterior process of male tenth abdominal tergite with a small incision on left lateral margin. Distribution. Corvèe under Han
The author distinguishes between the corvee systems of Ch'in and Han. In spite of the fact that the corvee system underwent a marked change in 167 B. C. in the reign of Emperor Wen of Former Han, the fact has been hitherto almost entirely overlooked. The author tries to reconstruct the Ch'in corvee system from various sources. In the sense that these two ancient empires were despotic in their constitution there was no essential difference between their system of government, but Han succeeded in melting feudalistic residues of the Chan-kuo period into her own system, while Ch'in failed in doing so due to the short period of her rule. Moreover, Ch'in failed in taking local differences into consideration in establishing her institutions. In the author's view the reign of Emperor Wen is significant in the sense that it represents renovation of the feudalistic taxation system and of the uniform and artificial system of local administration

Inah has been having nightmares. Nightmares of fish bones, fractals, and a marriage that ended under some unnamed violence. Walking the night streets with a man she has known for years, whose feelings for her are bound up with his intense longing to live as a woman, the fragile bond of their relationship threatens to shatter. Internationally acclaimed author Han Kang directs her unflinching gaze on the painful complexities of damage and recovery, questioning what it is we want from ourselves and each other, and whether there are some things that are truly irreparable
