Marcel Jouhandeau ou l'abjection comme passion
In my essay, I would like to analyze Jouhandeau's book «De l'abjection» through the lens of the theory of abjection, especially Kristeva and Bataille, in order to demonstrate that the category of abjection allows the author to talk about his passion without disavowing it.L'article vise à faire communiquer l'essai De l'abjection [1939]de Marcel Jouhandeau avec certaines théories influentes sur l'abjection, notamment Kristeva et Bataille.
My contribution aims to investigate the innovation of Barthes's approach to the Recherche, the increasing influence of Proust in his research in the later years and the presence of the Narrateur in La chambre claire, the latest work published by Barthes, two months before his death, in 1980. Barthes offers a modernist vision of Proust made by fragments, explorations and incompleteness; at the same time he finds in Proust a guide and in the Recherche a world whose exploration never ends
This paper aims to rediscover Hervé Guibert and his book À l'ami qui ne m'a pas sauvé la vie. The book reached a significantly wide audience in 1990, not only because publicly revealing that he was diagnosed with AIDS, but also for the fictionalization of some facts and people, such as Michel Foucault. Thanks to his use of novel strategies, Guibert guides the readers towards the discovery, by means of the virus in his body, of two other metaphorical infections: Thomas Bernhard and the time left to write. These two contagions acts on his body and soul as antidotes. Hervé Guibert discovers a way of salvation, the guarantee of eternity, the possibility of a total reversal: du contage au partage, from contagion to sharing
Una loquace reticenza. Raymond Federman tra memoria e invenzione
My article re-read Federman's trilogy by focusing on some leading themes of Holocaust literature: emptiness and absence, memory and oblivion. It will strongly emerge the capital role of literature as a recover from wounds and as a memory-building
The paper aims to analyze the question of the body and the flesh in the work of Julien Green. The centrality of the body is ambiguous at least and his autobiography highlights limits and ambivalences in relation to the religion and to the idea of sin. The passion of the body with its double meaning could explain Green's life path and writing, poised between reticence and the compulsion to confess.L'article vise à revenir à la question du corps et de la chair dans l'œuvre de Julien Green.
