The political role of the people's liberation army 1949-1973
Full text linkThis thesis is to study the political role of the People's Liberation Army from the approach of structure and function. The framework of the thesis consists of three major parts, first, the influence of Chinese traditional political culture on, and the formation of, the political role of the PL A; second, the influence of domestic political struggles and external military conflicts on the development of the political role of the PLA; and the third, the analysis of the transition of the PLA's political role from the structure and personnel arrangements of the CCPCC Within the above-mentioned three scopes, this thesis make a thorough discussion on the following: (1) The relationship between the structure of the PRC and the formation of the PLA's political role; (2) How has ideology influenced the army's political role; (3) What is Mao's viewpoint and his influence on the development of the army's political role; (4) What is the link between the army and the party, and how has this developed; (6) What accounts for the expansion of the PLA's political functions; (7) What is the influence of political factional struggles on the PLA's political role; (8) Is it political institution or military institution that controls the recruitment of the military elite; (9) What are the disparities between the military elite in handling international conflicts and what are their political considerations; (10) What is the Party's position in the army; (11) How have the Party’s important meetings and personnel arrangements influenced the rise and fall of the PLA's political role

Full text linkRESUMEN: El álbum ilustrado es un recurso literario que surge en la década de los 60. Estas obras están dirigidas, principalmente, al público infantil. Sin embargo, cada vez son más los autores que amplían su rango de lectores, dando la oportunidad a todos de disfrutar de la belleza del álbum ilustrado. Jimmy Liao es uno de ellos, dedicado anteriormente al mundo de la publicidad, es uno de los autores e ilustradores más concocidos a nivel internacional. Introducido en el mundo del álbum ilustrado, su intención es dar un giro a éste aumentando sus lectores y páginas. Liao es el autor de obras como Hermosa soledad, No soy perfecta o Secretos en el bosque. En este trabajo se plantea un análisis de Hermosa soledad incluyendo, entre otros apartados, los temas principales, la ideología y la simbología empleada. Éste se conseguirá a través de una investigación previa centrada en el taiwanés con el fin de poder captar el sentido y todos los matices de sus obras.ABSTRACT: The illustrated album is a literary resource which emerge in the 60s. Mainly this works are fows on children’s audience. Otherwise, each time there are more authors who extend their range of readers, giving the opportunity to enjoy with the beauty of the illustrated album. Jimmy Liao is one of them, in his past he was envolved in the advertisement world. Now is one of the most important and well know illustrator and advertiser in an international level. His goal is create a twist, increasing readers and pages. Liao is the author of works like Hermosa soledad, No soy perfecta or Secretos en el bosque. In this assignment I’m going to analyse Hermosa soledad including among other sections: principal topics, ideology or symbology. No full textThis paper gives a tentative interpretation of the double value (perfective and potential) of two forms, de and liao, in some Northern Mandarin dialects. The potential suffix liao has not been discussed up to now, and we claim that the link we can see between its potential and perfective values can also be seen for de.
