This is readme for VCC-LF dataset. This dataset provides light field mat files that capture by Lytro I. The light field resolusion is [h,w,u,v,d]. If you use these data or our toolkit code, please cite our paper properly @inproceedings{ lirsiggraphasia2019, title={Hierarchical and View-invariant Light Field Segmentation by Maximizing Entropy Rate on 4D Ray Graphs}, author={Li, Rui and Heidrich, Wolfgang}, booktitle={ACM Transactions on Graphics (Proc. LF model based glottal source parameter estimation by extended Kalman filtering

    No full text
A new algorithm for glottal source parameter estimation of voiced speech based on the Liljencrants-Fant (LF) model is presented in this work. Each pitch period of the inverse filtered glottal flow derivative is divided into two phases according to the glottal closing instant and an extended Kalman filter is iteratively applied to estimate the shape controlling parameters for both phases. By searching the minimal mean square error between the reconstructed LF pulse and the original signal, an optimal set of estimates can be obtained. Preliminary experimental results show that the proposed algorithm is effective for a wide range of LF parameters for different voice qualities with different noise levels, and accuracy especially for estimation of return phase parameters compares better than standard time-domain fitting methods while requiring a significantly lower computational load

    LF-copying without LF

AbstractA copying approach to ellipsis is presented, whereby the locus of copying is not a level of derived syntactic structure (LF), but rather the derivation itself. The ban on preposition stranding in sprouting follows without further stipulation, and other, seemingly structure sensitive, empirical generalizations about elliptical constructions, including the preposition stranding generalization, follow naturally as well. Destructive operations which ‘repair’ non-identical antecedents are recast in terms of exact identity of derivations with parameters. In the context of a compositional semantic interpretation scheme, the derivational copying approach to ellipsis presented here is revealed to be a particular instance of a proform theory, thus showing that the distinctions between, and arguments about, syntactic and semantic theories of ellipsis need to be revisited

Focusing the Inverse Method for LF: A Preliminary Report

    No full text
AbstractIn this paper, we describe a proof-theoretic foundation for bottom-up logic programming based on uniform proofs in the setting of the logical framework LF. We present a forward uniform proofs calculus which is a suitable foundation for the inverse method for LF and prove its correctness. We also present some preliminary results of an implementation for the Horn Fragment as part of the logical framework Twelf, and compare its performance with the tabled logic programming engine

    Stability of the UPT-LF assay.

The coefficient of variation for the detection results of the UPT-LF assay and the Roche Elecsys assay were all less than 10% under different sample storage conditions (a), and the bias between the two methods (b) were -0.8%, demonstrating the good stability and reproducibility of UPT-LF assay as Roche Elecsys assay. The significant correlation between the values derived form the EDTA-K2- and 40 heparin-anticoagulated plasma specimens (c) and the bias of 3.84% (d) proved that UPT-LF assay were scarcely affected by anticoagulants. the dotted lines represent the 95% limits of agreement.</p
