[Transcription begins] ARMY AIR FORCES TECHNICAL SCHOOLCHANUTE FIELD, ILLINOIS SaturdayApril 221944 Dear Members of the Bryant Service Club: Thank you very much for you very nice and newsy letter, and the package of goodies that you sent to me for Easter.  I enjoyed them both immensely.  of [sic] course, my buddies in the barracks helped me enjoy the candy by sharing it with me. When my buddies asked me who I got the nice package from, I explained all about the Service Club and all that you’re doing to make us feel closer to home.  They were amazed to hear about the fine things that you are accomplishing for Bryant alumni in the Service.  Many of my Army friends are college and university graduates, but none have a group back at their alma mater that’s doing anything like the wonderful thing that you’re doing for us Bryant graduates. We appreciate, sincerely, all that you’re doing for us.  It’s not so much what you send us, but the thought that you have us in mind even though we’re so far away.  I can easily imagine how much my fellow alumni overseas appreciate your thoughts and packages. Good Luck to all of you. Yours for Victory, SoonLeonard M. Levin My new address is: Pvt. Leonard M. Levin, 312922387th T.S.S. Brks 384Chanute Field, Ill.
