Nacido en 1997, Ariel Lanyi empezó a recibir clases de piano con Lea Agmon justo antes de cumplir los cinco años, y a los siete debutó con orquesta. Desde entonces, ha dado numerosos recitales en ciudades como Londres, París, Roma, Praga y Bruselas, y con frecuencia ofrece conciertos que se transmiten en directo por la radio y la televisión israelíes.
Se ha presentado como solista con diversas orquestas del Reino Unido e Israel, incluidas la Orquesta Sinfónica de Israel y la Orquesta Sinfónica de la Ciudad de Birmingham; y ha participado en diversos festivales, como el Festival de Israel, el Ausseer Festsommer, el Festival de Corsi Bosa Antica, el Festival de Piano de Miami, el Festival de Ravello y el Festival de Jóvenes de Praga. Como músico de cámara, se ha presentado con miembros principales y secundarios de la Filarmónica de Praga, la Filarmónica Checa, la Filarmónica de Berlín, el Concertgebouw de Ámsterdam y la Filarmónica de Israel, entre otras agrupaciones.
En 2020, Lanyi participó en el Festival de Marlboro. Ariel Lanyi estudió en el Instituto y Conservatorio de la Academia de Música de Jerusalén, en las clases de piano de Yuval Cohen. También estudió violín y composición, y fue concertino de la orquesta de este instituto y conservatorio. También ha recibido clases de Leon Fleisher, Robert Levin, Murray Perahia, Imogen Cooper, Leif Ove Andsnes, Steven Osborne e Ivan Moravec.

However, politically, lives can be valued in material terms, i.e. they can be put in balance with material interest, whether these interests are monetary or political (such as the national interest). No full textBorn in Argentina, Ariel Dorfman is a Chilean citizen who was forced into exile after the coup of 1973 that overthrew Salvador Allende. He is the author of the nonfiction books How to Read Donald Duck and The Empire’s Old Clothes; the novels Konfidenz, Mascara, The Last Song of Manuel Sendero, and Widows; short story collection, My House is on Fire; and a collection of poems, Last Waltz in Santiago. Dorfman’s books have been translated into twenty-seven languages. His play, Death and the Maiden, first performed in England in 1991, received the Time Out award as Best Play of the Year and the Sir Lawrence Olivier Award as Best Play of the Year. Juliet Stevenson received the same two awards as Best Actress. In the United States, Glenn Close won a Tony Award for Best Actress on Broadway in the same role. Recently, Sigourney Weaver, Ben Kingsley and Stuart Wilson along with director Roman Polanski have made Death and the Maiden into a film released in the United States in December of 1994. Mr. Dorfman, who is a regular contributor to the New York Times, the Los Angeles Times, the Village Voice, and The Nation lives in Durham, North Carolina, where he teaches at Duke whenever possible

No full textEl artículo presenta al autor de Ariel Rodó, como integrante de la promoción literaria uruguaya, como uno de los exponentes del modernismo y como pensador que pertenece a la generación de los Fundadores. Parte de la problemática Ariel- Calibán como símbolo latinoamericano y de la postulación de Ariel como discurso antiimperialista para situar la pregunta respecto de la función de la educación en la constitución del joven latinoamericano como sujeto social portador de sentido del proyecto nacional. Se tratan luego las figuras que se desprenden de los Prósperos, los Calibanes y los Arieles concebidos como la pluralidad de perspectivas desde las que transcurren las vidas de los sujetos y de los espacios desde los cuales las naciones se paran para mirarse unas a otras.This article introduces the author of Ariel, Rodó, as a member of the Uruguayan literary community, as well as one of the figures of expressionism, and as a thinker who belongs to the generation of the founders. It starts off from the Ariel-Calíban conflict as a Latin American symbol and from the postulation of Ariel as an antiilllpenallst discourse to pose the question about the function of education in the formation of the young Latin American as a social subject that bears the true sense of the national project.
