Marie Langer: History, Psychoanalysis, and Feminism
Este trabalho tem como objetivo explorar a historiografia da psicanálise a partir das contribuições teóricas e práticas de Marie Langer (1910-1987), destacando sua integração de questões sociais, políticas e de gênero ao campo. Langer, pioneira na América Latina, criticou o elitismo da psicanálise tradicional e defendeu sua democratização, criando clínicas comunitárias voltadas para populações marginalizadas, integrando-se ao Grupo Plataforma. Suas obras, como Maternidade e Sexo (1951) e Cuestionamos (1971), revisitaram pressupostos freudianos sobre a feminilidade, abordando os impactos das pressões sociais na psique feminina. Engajada politicamente, Langer foi uma das fundadoras do grupo Plataforma na Argentina, rompendo com a hegemonia do IPA na América Latina, aliando psicanálise e marxismo, e quebrando a neutralidade do campo para advogar por mudanças estruturais e apoiar movimentos populares. No México, durante seu exílio, aprofundou sua prática comunitária e feminista, analisando traumas sociais e fortalecendo a psicanálise como ferramenta de transformação.
