    The collection contains two letters from Gerald Landman to the Leo Baeck Institute regarding his paternal family history, along with supporting documentation. Supporting documentation for the first letter includes family trees of the Mailänder family; correspondence with archives in Germany regarding family history; article about the Jewish community of Fürth; and photocopy of the signatures of guests who signed as witnesses at the 1892 wedding of Marie Feldheim and Max Levy. The second letter contains further discussion of the Landman/Landmann family, as well as the family history of Gerald Landman's friend Joseph Brill (formerly Brüll). Included with the letter is photocopies of correspondence regarding Brill/Brüll family history and family trees.digitize
