Darba teorētiskajā daļā tika analizēta teorētiskā literatūra par lasītprasmes jēdziena skaidrojumu. Darba autore apkopoja lasītprasmes sekmēšanas stratēģijas un metodes. Izpētīts sākumskolas vecuma bērnu attīstības īpatnības. Darba empīriskajā daļā tika izveidots pētījuma plāns un aprakstītas pētīšanas metodes. Darba autore izveidoja skolēnu raksturojumu, aprakstot pētāmo problēmu. Tika izveidoti lasītprasmes vērtēšanas kritēriji. Lai sekmētu skolēnu lasītprasmi tika izmantotas dažādas metodes un stratēģijas, gan ārpusskolas aktivitātēm, gan mācību stundas ietvaros. Iegūtie rezultāti tika analizēti un salīdzināti. Darba apjoms: 48 lapaspuses, 12 attēli, 4 tabulas, 32 literatūras avoti. The theoretical part of the work analyzed the theoretical literature on the explanation of the concept of literacy. The author of the paper summarized the strategies and methods of promoting literacy. Peculiarities of development of children of primary school age have been studied. In the empirical part of the work, only a research plan is created, and research methods are described. The author of the work created a description of the students, describing the problem under study. Evaluative literacy assessment criteria were created. Various methods and strategies were used to promote students' reading skills, both in extracurricular activities and in the classroom. The obtained results were analyzed and compared.     Anion vs cation exchange membrane strongly affect mechanisms and yield of CO2 fixation in a microbial electrolysis cell

    The CO2 removal from a concentrated gas stream (simulating biogas) has been investigated by using two identical fully bio-catalyzed microbial electrolysis cell (MEC), equipped with either a proton exchange membrane (PEM-MEC) or an anion exchange membrane (AEM-MEC). The equivalents deriving from the anodic oxidation of the organic matter were mainly converted into current, with an average coulombic efficiency between 53 +/- 9% and 85 +/- 15%, resulting in a little microbial growth (with an observed growth yield between 0.17 and 0.18 gCOD/gCOD). The cathode compartment was continuously bubbled with a gas mixture containing CO2 (30% v/v, N-2 balance) and the presence of an hydrogenophilic autotrophic culture allowed for CO2 reduction into CH4, with a cathode capture efficiency between 47 +/- 2% and 80 +/- 1%, respectively. In both systems, the first mechanisms of CO2 removal was its sorption as bicarbonate ion at high concentration in. the MEC cathode, which was supported by alkalinity generation, needed by electroneutrality maintenance. However, in the AEM-MEC, 5.4 g/Ld of CO2 were removed by crossing the membrane (which was due to both molecular diffusion and ionic transport) whereas in the PEM-MEC only 3.2 g/Ld of CO2 were removed (through the osmotic overflow which was spilled from the cathodic liquid phase). Moreover, PEM-MEC showed higher COD removal efficiency (78 +/- 7%) and methane production rate (83 +/- 24 meq/Ld) than AEM-MEC but showed a higher energy demand per unit of removed CO2 (2.36 vs 0.78 vs kWh/Nm(3) CO2removed). It is noteworthy that AEM-MEC energy demand was lower than full scale processes for biogas upgrading such as water scrubbing. (C) 2016 Elsevier B.V. All rights reserved

    Metagenomic analysis reveals microbial interactions at the biocathode of a bioelectrochemical system capable of simultaneous trichloroethylene and cr(vi) reduction

    Bioelectrochemical systems (BES) are attractive and versatile options for the bioremediation of organic or inorganic pollutants, including trichloroethylene (TCE) and Cr(VI), often found as co-contaminants in the environment. The elucidation of the microbial players’ role in the bioelectroremediation processes for treating multicontaminated groundwater is still a research need that attracts scientific interest. In this study, 16S rRNA gene amplicon sequencing and whole shotgun metagenomics revealed the leading microbial players and the primary metabolic interactions occurring in the biofilm growing at the biocathode where TCE reductive dechlorination (RD), hydrogenotrophic methanogenesis, and Cr(VI) reduction occurred. The presence of Cr(VI) did not negatively affect the TCE degradation, as evidenced by the RD rates estimated during the reactor operation with TCE (111±2 μeq/Ld) and TCE/Cr(VI) (146±2 μeq/Ld). Accordingly, Dehalococcoides mccartyi, the primary biomarker of the RD process, was found on the biocathode treating both TCE (7.82E+04±2.9E+04 16S rRNA gene copies g−1 graphite) and TCE/Cr(VI) (3.2E+07±2.37E+0716S rRNA gene copies g−1 graphite) contamination. The metagenomic analysis revealed a selected microbial consortium on the TCE/Cr(VI) biocathode. D. mccartyi was the sole dechlorinating microbe with H2 uptake as the only electron supply mechanism, suggesting that electroactivity is not a property of this microorganism. Methanobrevibacter arboriphilus and Methanobacterium formicicum also colonized the biocathode as H2 consumers for the CH4 production and cofactor suppliers for D. mccartyi cobalamin biosynthesis. Interestingly, M. formicicum also harbors gene complexes involved in the Cr(VI) reduction through extracellular and intracellular mechanisms

    Influence of nitrate and sulphate reduction in the biolectrochemically assisted dechlorination of cis-DCE

    This paper investigated the reductive dechlorination (RD) of cis-dichloroethylene (cis-DCE) (average influent 14.2 +/- 0.7 mu M) by a bioelectrochemical system (BES), in the presence of real contaminated groundwater containing high levels of nitrate and sulfate. The BES enhanced both the RD and competing reactions, such as nitrate and sulfate reductions, which occurred with neither an external organic carbon source nor any inoculum other than the indigenous microbial consortia in the real groundwater. In preliminary batch tests, RD and full nitrate removal occurred after a short lag phase, whereas sulfate reduction occurred slowly and alongside the RD. Under continuous flow conditions (hydraulic retention time, HRT, 1.4 d), the competition of different electron acceptors was strongly affected by the cathodic potential in the range -550 to -750 mV vs. standard hydrogen electrode (SHE). Nitrate reduction was driven to completion at all tested cathodic potentials, whereas sulfate reduction and the RD rate increased as the cathodic potential became more negative. At -750 mV vs. SHE, strong methanogenesis was also observed and became the most important sink of electrons. The overall coulombic efficiency decreased while the potential became more negative. The RD contribution was always less than 1%. Hence, greater energy consumption was required to obtain higher RD rate and better conversion. Anodic oxidation was only observed at -750 mV vs. SHE where almost 39% of residual vinyl chloride (VC) was oxidized and the sulfate was formed back from sulfide (further contributing to electric waste).     L’articolo, seguendo una sollecitazione di Gennaro Luongo, recentemente scomparso, si interessa al dossier agiografico di Agnese. L’autrice lo ripercorre fra storia e leggenda, documenti letterari e testimonianze monumentali, iconografia e pratiche devozionali. Ciò le consente di mettere in evidenza le trasformazioni e continue ri-funzionalizzazioni del personaggio, nonché di avanzare alcune ipotesi sulle ragioni che presiedettero a questi continui processi di rilettura.The article following a solicitation by Gennaro Luongo, recently deceased, deals with the hagiographic dossier of Agnese. The author traces it between history and legend, literary documents and monumental evidences, iconography and devotional practices. This allows her to highlight the transformations (modifications) and continuous re-functionalizations of the character, as well as to advance some hypotheses on/regarding the reasons that presided over these continuous re-reading processes

Pētījuma mērķis: Teorētiski izzināt un praktiski vērtēt dažādus pedagoģiskos paņēmienu izmantošanas iespējas 3-4 gadīgu bērnu pašapkalpošanās prasmju sekmēšanai pirmsskolā. Pētījuma jautājums: Vai ieviešot pirmsskolā dažādas rotaļu nodarbības un vingrinājumus, bērniem tiek sekmētas pašapkalpošanās prasmes? Darba teorētiskajā daļā tiek analizēts, kas ir pašapkalpošanās prasmes un kādi ir to kritēriji, kā arī mācību vide pirmsskolas, lai veicinātu pašapkalpošanās prasmes un kā veicināt pašapkalpošanās prasmes pirmsskolā. Empīriskajā daļā autore praktiski veic novērojumus bērna pašapkalpošanās prasmēs, kur izvirzīti dažādi kritēriji, lai veiktu analīzi par bērna pašapkalpošanās prasmēm. Pētījumā secināts, ka veicot dažādas rotaļas ikdienā, bērnu pašapkalpošanās prasmes daudz labāk attīstās un tika rekomendētas dažādas rotaļas. Pētījuma laikā arī tika izveidota anketa un apkopotā rezultātā aprakstīts, ko respondenti atbildējuši par to, kā viņiem liekas, kādas ir bērnu pašapkalpošanās prasmes. Pēc secinājuma, tika apstiprināta izvirzītais pētījuma jautājums. Darba saturs: Darbs sastāv no 32 lapām, 2 tabulām, 6 attēliem, 29 izmantotajiem literatūras avotiem un 2 pielikuma. In empirical part: The author made practical observations of the child’s self-service skills, where various critea are set to alayze the child’s self-service skills. The study concluded that children’s self-service skills develop much better by playing different games on a daily basis, and there were different games that was recommended for teachers. During the research, pooling was also created and the collected results described what respondents answered about how they think their children’s self-service skills are.     Lai noskaidrotu kādi pedagoģiskie nosacījumi jāņem vērā rakstītprasmes veicināšanai pirmsskolas 3. posmā, Agnese Cekareva bakalaura darba “Pedagoģiskie nosacījumi rakstītprasmes veicināšanai pirmsskolas 3.posmā” ietvaros veica pētījumu divās daļās. Teorētiskajā daļā tika analizēta rakstītprasme, tās metodika un saturs, formulēti pedagoģiskie nosacījumi, kas svarīgi rakstītprasmes apguvē un veicināšanā. Praktiskajā daļā aprakstīta pētījuma norises gaita, izmantotās metodes, iegūtie rezultāti. Nobeigumā formulēti no pētījuma rezultātiem izrietoši ieteikumi pirmsskolas pedagogiem rakstītprasmes satura un metodikas izvēlei, kā arī secinājumi. Bakalaura darbs sastāv no 47 lpp. Tajā iekļauta 1 tabula, 15 attēli, 5 pielikumi un 47 bibliogrāfiskās saraksta vienības, un galvojums. Izmantotie atslēgvārdi – rakstītprasme, pedagoģiskie nosacījumi, veicināšana, pirmsskola.In order to find out what pedagogical conditions should be taken into account for promoting literacy in the 3rd stage of preschool, Agnese Cekareva conducted a study in two parts as part of her bachelor's thesis “Pedagogical conditions for promoting literacy in the 3rd stage of preschool”. The theoretical part was analysed literacy, its methodology and content, formulated pedagogical conditions that are important for the acquisition and promotion of literacy. The practical part describes the course of the research, the methods used, and the results obtained. In conclusion, recommendations for preschool educators for the selection of literacy content and methodology, as well as conclusions, are formulated based on the results of the research. The bachelor's thesis consists of 47 pages. It includes 1 table, 15 images, 5 appendices and 47 bibliographical entries, and a guarantee.     Use of a Work of an Author without the Consent of the Author and without Remuneration

    Zinātniskajā darbā tika analizēta Latvijas un citu Eiropas kontinentālajam, kā arī anglosakšu tiesību lokam piederīgo valstu praksi attiecībā uz gadījumiem, kad pieļaujama autora darba izmantošana bez autora piekrišanas un arī bez atlīdzības, vēršot uzmanību uz konkrētiem aprobežojumu veidiem un ar tiem saistītiem tiesību institūtiem un jēdzieniem. Autore konstatēja, ka trīssoļu pārbaudes adresāts ir neskaidrs, turklāt šī pārbaude ir nepiemērots instruments tiesas pielietojumam, lai gan tiesai obligāti būtu jāņem vērā trīssoļu pārbaudes principi, risinot ar autortiesībām saistītus konfliktus. Darbā analizēti Autortiesību likumā pastāvošie autortiesību aprobežojumu veidi, kas saistīti ar nelielo izņēmumu doktrīnu. Attiecībā uz publiski izstādīta darba izmantošanu autore ierosina izmaiņas Autortiesību likumā, nosakot, ka zināmos apstākļos publiski izstādīta darba izmantošana var notikt arī ar komerciālu mērķi. Analizējot darba nejaušas iekļaušanas pieļāvumu, autore secina, ka Autortiesību likums nepietiekami aizsargā nejaušas iekļaušanas gadījumus, un ierosina zināmā apjomā šo principu ieviest arī Latvijas autortiesību regulējumā. Analizējot citēšanas pieļāvumu, autore centās noskaidrot aprobežojuma darbības jomu, pieļaujamo citēšanas apjomu, kā arī citēšanas mērķu nozīmi. Autore ierosina papildinājumus Autortiesību likumā attiecībā uz darba izmantošanu parodijai. Analizējot autora darba izmantošanu informatīviem mērķiem, autore konstatēja, ka nepieciešams mīkstināt avota un autora vārda norādīšanas pienākumu attiecībā uz aktuālo notikumu atspoguļošanu, savukārt likuma normā attiecībā uz politisku runu un analoģisku darbu izmantošanas pieļāvumu būtu iekļaujamas arī publiskās lekcijas.The work analyzes the uses of copyrighted works without the remuneration paid and without the consent of author focusing on particular copyright exceptions and their related issues. Author concluded it is not clear what is the real addressee of the three-step test, besides, although it should be mandatory for courts to apply the test on deciding copyright exceptions related matters, the test is unsuitable instrument for the courts’ application. Regarding the use of a work in public display author proposes to modify the exception, providing that under certain circumstances the use of work for commercial purposes should be allowed. Author concludes that the amount of Copyrights law safeguarding incidental inclusion uses of author’s work is insufficient and proposes to partly introduce this principle in national regulation. Author proposes several amendments concerning uses for the purpose of parody. Author concludes it is necessary to soften the mandatory demand to clearly state the source and authors name as regards the use of work for reporting current events. Also author proposes to consider the inclusion of public lectures in the regulation concerning the use of political speeches as well as similar works for information purposes
