The Author presents data about the new Greek Theater found in the Sanctuary of Demeter, in course of excavations by the Archaeological Italian Mission of the Urbino University since 1999. Mario Luni examines the status of findings after ten years of research: the new Doric hexastyle Temple of Demeter, of the late-Archaic age, the Altar, the Hellenistic Propylaeum, a Porch and numerous shrines cutted into the rock of the same period. This Sanctuary was discovered by the author outside the southern door of Cyrene and a particular attention has been dedicated to the new Greek Theater. It was built in the middle of the Sanctuary, along the route of the processions in honor of Demeter and this monumental structure consists of 22 steps carved into the rock like the orchestra. The excavations are still ongoing in the skené that seems to be of a particular type, in connection with a fountain dedicated to Nymphs, with a shrine carved into the rock and with sacred rites do Demeter
