    Multiplanet disc interactions in binary systems

    We investigate the evolution of a multiplanet–disc system orbiting one component of a binary star system. The planet–disc system is initially coplanar but misaligned to the binary orbital plane. The planets are assumed to be giants that open gaps in the disc. We first study the role of the disc in shaping the mutual evolution of the two planets using a secular model for low initial tilt. In general, we find that the planets and the disc do not remain coplanar, in agreement with previous work on the single planet case. Instead, the planets and the disc undergo tilt oscillations. A high-mass disc between the two planets causes the planets and the disc to nodally precess at the same average rate but they are generally misaligned. The amplitude of the tilt oscillations between the planets is larger while the disc is present. We then consider higher initial tilts using hydrodynamical simulations and explore the possibility of the formation of eccentric Kozai–Lidov (KL) planets. We find that the inner planet’s orbit undergoes eccentricity growth for a large range of disc masses and initial misalignments. For a low disc mass and large initial misalignment, both planets and the disc can undergo KL oscillations. Furthermore, we find that sufficiently massive discs can cause the inner planet to increase its inclination beyond 90◦ and therefore to orbit the binary in a retrograde fashion. The results have important implications for the explanation of very eccentric planets and retrograde planets observed in multiplanet systems

    Formation of the polar debris disc around 99 Herculis

    We investigate the formation mechanism for the observed nearly polar aligned (perpendicular to the binary orbital plane) debris ring around the eccentric orbit binary 99 Herculis. An initially inclined non-polar debris ring or disc will not remain flat and will not evolve to a polar configuration, due to the effects of differential nodal precession that alter its flat structure. However, a gas disc with embedded well coupled solids around the eccentric binary may evolve to a polar configuration as a result of pressure forces that maintain the disc flatness and as a result of viscous dissipation that allows the disc to increase its tilt. Once the gas disc disperses, the debris disc is in a polar aligned state in which there is little precession. We use three-dimensional hydrodynamical simulations, linear theory, and particle dynamics to study the evolution of a misaligned circumbinary gas disc and explore the effects of the initial disc tilt, mass, and size. We find that for a wide range of parameter space, the polar alignment time-scale is shorter than the lifetime of the gas disc. Using the observed level of alignment of 3◦ from polar, we place an upper limit on the mass of the gas disc of about 0.014 M☉ at the time of gas dispersal. We conclude that the polar debris disc around 99 Her can be explained as the result of an initially moderately inclined gas disc with embedded solids. Such a disc may provide an environment for the formation of polar planets

    [[abstract]]The gas dynamics of semidetached binary systems is analyzed in the context of the Roche model. It is shown that the steady flow can be formulated in terms of a problem with multiple length scales if it is assumed that the contact component rotates synchronously and the flow occurs isothermally with the thermal speed being a small fraction of the relative orbital speed of the two stars. This concept and semianalytical methods are used to demonstrate that material escapes from the surface of the contact component in a highly anisotropic stellar wind, that the wind throttles into a narrow stream of material whose width is a function of the orbital separation and whose density is a function of the mass transfer rate and the relative orbital speed of the two stars, and that the stream results in the formation of a disk of material of prescribed size orbiting the detached component if the latter is smaller than a specified size. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------[[fileno]]2010118010124[[department]]物理

    [[abstract]]Interior models for zero-age contact binaries of high total mass are constructed on the basis of the contact discontinuity hypothesis. The contact discontinuity in systems with a total mass greater than about 4 solar masses is shown to occur on the side of the primary rather than the secondary. Results for two models, one with masses of 4 + 2 solar masses and the other with 8 + 4 solar masses, are presented, along with the properties of the corresponding single stars. These results indicate that the most significant change introduced by the contact configuration is the appearance of a convection zone beneath the contact discontinuity at the Roche lobe of the primary. Existing studies on blockchain-service businesses lack research on how to develop business model ideas systematically; this study proposes a methodical process for generating these new ideas. Blockchain technology features were organized from the perspective of idea generation and leveraged to solve customer requirements. Through workshops, six business ideas were generated and evaluated by 26 experts.     [[abstract]]Zero-age models of contact binaries of roughly solar composition are constructed on the basis of contact discontinuity hypothesis. With this formulation, systems with common radiative envelopes can be constructed as well as systems with common convective envelopes. Two models with total masses, respectively, of 1.5 and 3 solar masses are presented explicitly; both binary models have a mass ratio chosen equal to 0.5. The properties of the interior structure of these models are compared with the properties of zero-age single stars which have masses corresponding to the individual components. The predictions of the theory are compared with the empirical period-color relationship found by Eggen (1961, 1967) for W Ursae Majoris stars. Prior to the issuance of Law No. 28/2009, catering services were included in the Value Added Tax object. After the issuance of the Act, catering services have been excluded from the object of Value Added Tax and are subject to the object of Regional Tax in accordance with the provisions of Law No. 1 of 2022 concerning Financial Relations between the Central Government and Regional Governments and are subject to Income Tax 23 in accordance with the provisions of PMK No. 141/PMK.03/2015 concerning Other types of services as referred to in Article 23 Paragraph (1) Letter C Number 2 of Law Number 7 of 1983 concerning Income Tax. The purpose of this research is to find out how tax imposition, tax calculation and constraints on eating and drinking in hospitals. The research method used in this research is a qualitative research method with a descriptive method so that the results of this research are based on direct observation through sources with interview, observation, and documentation methods to find out how the imposition of local taxes and income tax 23 on catering services at RSUD. R Syamsudin S.H and its constraints and solutions. As PMK No. 141/PMK.03/2015 explains that Catering Services are subject to an Income Tax 23 rate of 2% of the gross amount and are subject to local tax rates as referred to in Law No. 1 of 2022 of 10% of the Tax Imposition Base (DPP). The results of research at RSUD R. Syamsudin S.H in the imposition of local tax obligations and Income Tax 23 on catering services are in accordance with these regulations
