Domestic violence left a psychic scar for the victim, especially the
teenagers, one of the psychic problems facing teenagers were depression.
Teenagers who are depressed in mark with negative behavior changes. The
existence of assistance and handling with expressive writing therapy can help
address the psychic issues of violent violence in domestic violence. The study
aims to describe the process of implementing the expressive writers of therapy as
a handling of adolescents of violence in domestic violence in depression in
P2TP2A Karanganyar.
This research uses descriptive qualitative approach. Data collection
techniques are performed with interview and observation techniques. Subjects in
this study amounted to 3 people consisting of social workers, psychologists, and
victims of domestic violence. In the subject selection, the author uses purposive
sampling techniques based on certain criteria.
The results of this study indicate that the P2TP2A attack of Karanganyar
regency in overcoming psychological and physical problems experienced by the
violent victims of the household by using expressive writing therapy in
collaboration with the Psychology of the Surra regional Hospital's Hospital. The
expressive process of therapy process is done with three sessions that is (1) the
appetizer session is done by rappot development, re-enforcement, referrals related
to expressive writing therapy, (2) the session writing in doing way of writing his
emotional experience without time limit, (3) cover sessions are done with the
completion of various sessions by giving the direction to the victim to be able to
follow the repeat therapy session, motivating the victim to get used to pour its
hearts into the writing. The results showed that the teenage of violence in
domestic violence changed to the psychological issues after conducting expressive
writing therapy sessions.
