An Inexact Proximal-Type Method for the Generalized Variational Inequality in Banach Spaces
We investigate an inexact proximal-type method, applied to the generalized variational inequality problem with maximal monotone operator in reflexive Banach spaces. Solodov and Svaiter (2000) first introduced a new proximal-type method for generating a strongly convergent sequence to the zero of maximal monotone operator in Hilbert spaces, and subsequently Kamimura and Takahashi (2003) extended Solodov and Svaiter algorithm and strong convergence result to the setting of uniformly convex and uniformly smooth Banach spaces. In this paper Kamimura and Takahashi's algorithm is extended to develop a generic inexact proximal point algorithm, and their convergence analysis is extended to develop a generic convergence analysis which unifies a wide class of proximal-type methods applied to finding the zeroes of maximal monotone operators in the setting of Hilbert spaces or Banach spaces.</p
THE PROCEDURE AND THE PURPOSES OF CENG BENG RITUAL CELEBRATION AT TEMPLE BY THE CONFUCIAN CHINESE INDONESIAN IN SEMARANG
This qualitative research was conducted to find out how the Chinese people of
Semarang celebrate Ceng Beng, and the aim of continuing to celebrate Ceng Beng. To
obtain data, the author interviewed 6 informants. Samples were obtained through
purposive sampling. Based on the research results, it was found that the Ceng Beng
ritual carried out by Confucians in Semarang consists of several steps. First,
preparations are made with various objects such as portraits of ancestors, tableware,
candles, Hio, paper money (Kimcoa), suitcases containing paper clothes, prayer letters
(Wong Shen), and Hio Lo. Second, the implementation of the ritual, which opens with
praying to the three gods, then praying to the ancestors, and prostrating in front of the
altar to pay respects to the ancestors. The third is the closing of the Ceng Beng ritual
by burning the offering object. This ritual is primarily aimed at honoring ancestors,
maintaining cultural and religious beliefs, maintaining family traditions and
observances, as well as expressing gratitude and asking for blessings

Hybrid Approximate Proximal Point Algorithms for Variational Inequalities in Banach Spaces
Let C be a nonempty closed convex subset of a Banach space E with the dual E∗, let T:C→E∗ be a continuous mapping, and let S:C→C be a relatively nonexpansive mapping. In this paper, by employing the notion of generalized projection operator we study the variational inequality (for short, VI(T−f,C)): find x∈C such that 〈y−x,Tx−f〉≥0 for all y∈C, where f∈E∗ is a given element. By combining the approximate proximal point scheme both with the modified Ishikawa iteration and with the modified Halpern iteration for relatively nonexpansive mappings, respectively, we propose two modified versions of the approximate proximal point scheme L. C. Ceng and J. C. Yao (2008) for finding approximate solutions of the VI(T−f,C). Moreover, it is proven that these iterative algorithms converge strongly to the same solution of the VI(T−f,C), which is also a fixed point of S

Strong and weak convergence theorems for an infinite family of nonexpansive mappings and applications
Robustness of Mann Type Algorithm with Perturbed Mapping for Nonexpansive Mappings in Banach Spaces
The purpose of this paper is to study the robustness of Mann type algorithm in the sense that approximately perturbed mapping does not alter the convergence of Mann type algorithm. It is proven that Mann type algorithm with perturbed mapping remains convergent in a Banach space setting where , a nonexpansive mapping, , , errors and a strongly accretive and strictly pseudocontractive mapping.</p
Implicit predictor-corrector iteration process for finitely many asymptotically (quasi-)nonexpansive mappings
We study an implicit predictor-corrector iteration process for finitely many asymptotically quasi-nonexpansive self-mappings on a nonempty closed convex subset of a Banach space . We derive a necessary and sufficient condition for the strong convergence of this iteration process to a common fixed point of these mappings. In the case is a uniformly convex Banach space and the mappings are asymptotically nonexpansive, we verify the weak (resp., strong) convergence of this iteration process to a common fixed point of these mappings if Opial's condition is satisfied (resp., one of these mappings is semicompact). Our results improve and extend earlier and recent ones in the literature.</p
Relaxed Composite Implicit Iteration Process for Common Fixed Points of a Finite Family of Strictly Pseudocontractive Mappings
We propose a relaxed composite implicit iteration process for finding approximate common fixed points of a finite family of strictly pseudocontractive mappings in Banach spaces. Several convergence results for this process are established.</p
