A Novel Coupling Structure for Inline Realization of Cross-Coupled Rectangular Waveguide Filters
No full textThis paper presents a new cross-coupling structure for introducing transmission zeros in waveguide filters with inline configuration. The cross-coupling is realized by an internal bypass metallic loop structure (wire), short-circuited to the filter top plate and passing through the waveguide cavities. Positive and negative cross-couplings are realized by only varying the length of the structure suitably. Full-wave electromagnetic (EM) simulations of the coupling structure are performed for extracting the coupling coefficient sign and value ( {k} ). The relationship of the values of {k} with the coupling structure dimensions is presented graphically. The loading effect of coupling structure on the resonance frequency of the waveguide cavities is also discussed, as well as the possibility of post-manufacturing tunability. The feasibility of the proposed coupling structure is demonstrated by the design of three test filters. Two filters verify the in-line design of a triplet configuration using the proposed coupling wire to introduce a transmission zero below or above the passband. These filters have been also manufactured and measured for an experimental validation of the new structure. The third filter demonstrates the use of the wire loop to create a negative coupling in a cross-coupled configuration. Power handling capability of this configuration has been also thoroughly analyzed by full-wave EM simulation

A study of essential war strategies and their similarities with competitive marketing strategies

(Dogus Author)We think that businesses have no difference from the armies struggling with each other in a battle field, due to fierce competition that exists in today's business world. In this article, the similarities between the overall war strategies and marketing strategies are explained with examples from the Turkish market, blended with the interpretations of Eastern and Western military strategists. We rely in our research on the leadership of master of war Sun Tzu’s and the famous general Clausewitz's war strategies. We also tap into the strategies used by the Turkish nation, known as a warrior nation throughout its history. The article examines the subject in the context of two divided basic war strategies, offensive and defensive war strategies, by illustrating the realized marketing cases and strategies implemented by the firms in the market

No full text“Variations on the Author” discusses two of Eduardo Coutinho’s recent films (Um Dia na Vida, from 2010, and Últimas Conversas, posthumously released in 2015) and their contribution to the general question of documentary authorship. The director’s filmography is characterized by a consistent yet self-effacing form of authorial self-inscription: Coutinho often features as an interviewer that rather than express opinions propels discourses; an interviewer that is good at listening. This mode of self-inscription characterizes him as an author who is not expressive but who is nonetheless markedly present on the screen. In Um Dia na Vida, however, Coutinho is completely absent form the image, while Últimas Conversas, on the contrary, includes a confessional prologue that moves the director from the margins to the center of his films. This article examines the ways in which these works stand out in the filmography of a director who offers new insights into the notion of cinematic authorship

ditemui atau strategis di Kecamatan Binuang.
Tujuan atau fokus penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh Harga,
Kualitas Pelayanan dan Kelengkapan Produk secara parsial dan simultan terhadap
Keputusan Pembelian di TB A. Latif.
Hasil menunjukkan secara parsisal variabel Harga tidak berpengaruh
terhadap Keputusan Pembelian di TB A. Latif. Hal ini dijelasakan dari nilai uji t
leih dari 0,05 (0,483 > 0,05). Dan dua variabel lainnya yaitu Kualitas Pelayanan
berpengaruh terhadap Keputusan NasabahkKarena nilai uji t leih kecil dari pada
0,05 (0,000 < 0,05), variabel Kelengkapan Produk berpengaruh terhadap
Keputusan Pembelian karena nila uji t lebih kecil dari pada 0,05 (0,002 < 0,05).
Sedangkan secara simultan semua variabel berpengaruh dapat dilihat pada nilai uji
f menunjukkan nilai (0,000) leih kecil dari pada 0,05
A Novel Realization of Fully Canonical and Pseudo-elliptic Wideband Waveguide Filters
No full textThis paper presents a novel realization of fully canonical and pseudo-elliptic wideband rectangular waveguide filters. Authors proposed a novel coupling structure in [1] that has the capability to realize a positive coupling, a negative coupling, or a TEM resonator by adjusting its length. A number of filters were realized using the novel coupling structure. In this paper, design of one fully canonical filter and four pseudoelliptic filters at the center frequency of 10 GHz is presented utilizing the novel coupling structure. One of the filter has an equiripple bandwidth of 1.5 GHz. Rigorous full-wave EM simulations have been performed, results demonstrate that the realization of such filters is feasible and desired number of transmission zeros can be generated at the prescribed positions
