An Insight Into Indian Tourism Sector
Researchers have observed that Indian Tourism is a potential source of employment generation which will help in sustainable development of the country. India exploits around 0.6% from the world tourism sector which contributes around 6.23% to the country GDP presently. Blessed with a lot of tourist destinations rooted in the hill stations, waterfalls, historic places, artistic craftsmanship and temples of all religions, it has not been able to become the cynosure for the citizens across the world. The reasons could be attributable to inadequate tourism information, relatively inadequate growth of hotel and travel industry etc. Under the backdrop of such issues, this paper while putting an insight into the development of tourism in India will make an attempt to examine the place of India in The World Tourism map
Fabrication of Functionally Graded Material (FGM) Set-Up
Functionally graded materials (FGMs) are advanced composites with graded properties that are novel concepts in the structural design of materials and have extensive applications in the aerospace engineering, aircrafts and automotive industry. FGMs with the continuous variation of microstructures and properties are expected to have the reduction of residual and thermal stresses. In case of metal-ceramic FGMs advancement over heat and corrosion resistance of ceramics and mechanical strength of metals in such applications as thermal or chemical barriers. FGMs can also be designed to take.an improved adhesive bonding strength between metals and ceramics. Multifunctional metal-ceramic structures are suitable for applications where toughness and hardness are two essential requirements for engineering and scientific research applications. The objective of the research paper is to fabricate graded metal-ceramic composites in bulk manufacturing processes for commercial applications. This paper aims at control of the evolution of mechanical properties through the use of a nanoparticle sintering aid and fabrication of graded metal-ceramic composites using pressureless sintering and bulk molding technology. A new sintering aid TiO2 was introduced to control the evolution of mechanical properties of graded Nickel-Alumina composites. The evolution of mechanical properties was then used in a recently developed two-dimensional micro thermo-mechanical analysis to determine the effects of develop gradient architectures. Finally, a laboratory-scale FGM setup is designed based on a powder metallurgy (PM) and Rapid Prototyping (RP) technology to process geometrically complex gradient structures
Application of Genetic Fuzzy System for Damage Identification in Cantilever Beam Structure
AbstractThe performance of the system consisting of beam structures is very much affected by identification of faults or damage in it's structural integrity. The consistent and secure operation can be well ensured in an engineering system by effectively identifying the damage in the structures. The conventional techniques are rendered to few limitations due to the unreliable mathematical simulation used for actual scenario. Therefore, hybrid artificial techniques (AI) would be more sophisticated tool for damage identification in beam structures. The combination of Fuzzy inference system and Genetic algorithms (GAs) can be employed to obtain effective solutions for many systems. In the current research, GA-Fuzzy controller has been considered for identification of damage in steel cantilever beam in transverse direction subjected to natural vibration. The results obtained from the proposed technique have been in very good agreement with the experimental results

India’s Macroeconomic Performance and Policies since 2000
The paper reviews Indias macroeconomic performance and policies since 2000. The first section briefly summarizes key macroeconomic developments regarding economic growth, inflation, external balance, the fiscal situation and aggregate savings and investment. The second section considers some of the challenges posed to macroeconomic management in this period and the efficacy of the policy responses adopted. In particular, it analyses the progress in fiscal consolidation and the policies adopted to deal with the challenge of the unprecedented surge in external capital inflows into India. The final section outlines some of the major macro policy issues that need to be addressed in the years ahead, including : the resurgence of high fiscal deficits; the issues relating to external convertibility and exchange rate management; the role of the Reserve Bank of India in macroeconomic policy and coping with a weak international economic environment.economic growth, inflation, Fiscal Policy, savings and investment, Capital Inflows, exchange rate policy, central bank role
The Impact of Entrepreneurial Failures on Psychological Resilience
This chapter explores the profound impact of entrepreneurial failures on psychological resilience, highlighting how setbacks can serve as catalysts for personal growth and innovation. It examines the nature of entrepreneurial failure, the concept of psychological resilience, and the ways in which failure can foster resilience through learning and adaptation. Furthermore, the chapter discusses the psychological impacts of failure, strategies for building resilience post-failure, and the influence of cultural and societal factors. It also emphasizes the role of emotional intelligence in navigating the challenges of entrepreneurship and outlines effective psychological interventions and support systems. By recognizing the importance of mental health and resilience, this chapter underscores the need for a supportive ecosystem that empowers entrepreneurs to overcome obstacles, ultimately contributing to sustainable economic growth and a thriving entrepreneurial community
Exploring the Relationship Between Entrepreneurial Success and Personal Well-Being
This chapter explores the intricate relationship between entrepreneurial success and personal well-being, highlighting the interplay between ambition, mental health, and fulfilment. It examines how psychological resilience, coping mechanisms, and support systems contribute to both personal and professional outcomes for entrepreneurs. By emphasizing the significance of work-life balance and community networks, the chapter argues that well-being is integral to sustainable entrepreneurial success. Furthermore, it identifies future research directions that can deepen our understanding of this relationship, including the need for longitudinal studies and interdisciplinary approaches. Ultimately, this exploration underscores that personal fulfilment and entrepreneurial achievement are interdependent, advocating for a holistic view that nurtures both aspects to foster a thriving entrepreneurial landscape
