Supplementary Data for Reconstructing Past Craft Networks: A case study using 3D scans of Late Bronze Age swords to reconstruct specialized craft networks, PhD. Dissertation
This dataset includes .csv files of the network matrices, blade profile .bmp images, Fourier transform data, and the data gathered for statistics. Also included is the annotated SAS routine used to analyze the data. The Data were analyzed using SHAPE V1.3, SAS 9.4, and GEPHI 0.8.2. The data is being released with the publication of the dissertation.The data included here are supplemental data associated with the dissertation "Reconstructing Past Craft Networks: A case study using 3D scans of Late Bronze Age swords to reconstruct specialized craft networks." by Kristina Golubiewski-Davis. The dissertation is an examination of Late Bronze Age sword smiths wherein the author uses shape data as an indication of manufacture choices to reconstruct possible social networks. Included are .csv files of the Network matrices, blade profile .bmp images, Fourier transform data, and the data gathered for statistics. Kristina Wong is a third generation Chinese American who was born and raised in San Francisco, California. Kristina’s profession consists from being a performance artist to an actor. Kristina is the creator of the Auntie Sewing Squad. Kristina Peterson is the Director of the Lowlander Center, based in Gray Louisiana. By utilizing the rich and varied knowledge within bayou communities, including Traditional Ecological and Historic Knowledge, the Lowlander Institute addresses social and environmental pressures, and provides training and education to students, professionals, volunteers, and field workers. Kristina has been an advocate for peace and a champion of justice related issues, be they human or environmental. She has a passion for finding new and creative ways of problem solving by hearing stories of place and people. Understandings from our past, our ancestors (human and non) can help us live into the future with gentleness of spirit and the rejuvenation of our lived world
