Stenoloba viridescens Kononenko & Ronkay, 2001 (Figs. 16, 33, 44) Stenoloba viridescens Kononenko & Ronkay, 2001, Insecta Koreana, 18(2): 108, figs. 17, 18, 36, 37, 50. Type locality: North Vietnam, Tam Dao, 60 km NW Hanoi, 1200 m. Holotype: male, preserved in ZFMK, Bonn. Material examined. 2 males, 1 female, Aut. Reg. Guangxi, Miaorshan, Jiuniutang, 5–10.vii.1985 (coll. C.L. Fang & Z.Q. Wang); 3 males, Aut. Reg. Guangxi, Fangcheng, Fulong, 24–25.v.1999 (coll. Y.Z. Zhang & D.C. Yuan); 1 female, Prov. Yunnan, Pur, 14.vi.2007 (coll. H.L. Han). Diagnosis. The species with its allies S. cinechlora Kononenko & Ronkay, 2001, S. speideli Kononenko & Ronkay, 2001, S. tonkina Kononenko & Ronkay, 2001 and S. longipennis Kononenko & Ronkay, 2001, all described from North Vietnam, and S. motuoensis Han & Lu, 2007, described from South China form a species group of closely related, externally similar species. S. viridescens (fig. 16) can be recognized by relatively wide forewing with more or less pointed apex, brown-bright green coloration; orbicular stigma sharply defined as distinct black spot; reniform stigma clearly visible, outlined by black line; postmedial line with clear white streak near tornal angle. In male genitalia (Fig. 33) distal part of valva with heavily sclerotized bifurcate costal extension; sacculus elongate with deep cut in middle and with long, acute, wedge shaped apical extension. Vesica simple, narrowly tubular, recurved. In female genitalia (Fig. 44) antrum sclerotized, ductus bursae long, relatively narrowly tubular, well sclerotized; cervix bursae well separated, sclerotized. Most species of S. viridescens species group were known from montane regions of North Vietnam. Our records significantly extend the distribution of the species. Distribution. North Vietnam, South China (Aut. Reg. Guangxi, Prov. Yunnan, first record).Published as part of Han, H. L. & Kononenko, V. S., 2009, A review of the genus Stenoloba Staudinger, 1892 from China, with description of 6 new species and 7 new records for China (Lepidoptera: Noctuidae, Bryophilinae), pp. 1-22 in Zootaxa 2268 (1) on page 18, DOI: 10.11646/zootaxa.2268.1.1, http://zenodo.org/record/530632

Stenoloba albistriata Kononenko & Ronkay, 2000 (Figs 16, 51) Stenoloba albistriata Kononenko & Ronkay, 2000, Insecta Koreana, 17(3):164, fig. 20, 21 (Holotype: male, [Myanmar] Burma, Hpimaw Fort, Nr. Mytkyna, 8000 ft, BMNH, London). Material examined. 2 females, China, Prov. Yunnan, Tengchong, Guanpojiao, iv.2013, H.L. Han & C. Zhang leg., slide HHL-6182-2, coll. NEFU. Diagnosis. Stenoloba albistriata (Fig. 16) is a typical member of the S. olivacea species-group, differing externally from the related species, S. olivacea, S. fontinalis, S. benedeki, S. solaris and S. subsolaris, by its smaller size; the presence of strong reddish brown spots at base of forewing, but missing of red spot in the reniform; the conspicuous, white-filled, sinuous ante- and postmedial crosslines bordering the broad medial area; the well-discernible, wide, dark medial stripe; the relatively distinct, sinuous transverse line of the hindwing. The male genitalia of S. albistriata (illustrated by Kononenko & Ronkay 2000) differ from those of its allied species by their narrower valva, shorter and narrower the uncus, and shape of the aedeagus and vesica. The female genitalia (Fig. 51) differ from known of those the related taxa by the presence of a heavily sclerotised crest in the lateral part of the cervix bursae. Distribution. Southwest China (Prov. Yunnan), north Myanmar. Two females were collected in April. First record for China. The species formerly was known only from Myanmar. New data considerable extend the distribution pattern of S. albistriata. Notes. The female genitalia of S. albistriata is described and illustrated here for the first time.Published as part of Han, H. L. & Kononenko, V.
