Chun discusses topics such as the tolerance of failure, and comments on the changing status of the digital humanities. She also recommends some specific skills for the 21st-century humanist
Ionospheric signals from sub-ionospheric radio transmissions on 2016 August 27
Data collected from a wideband radio receiver in Bath, UK was analysed to obtain ionospheric signals from narrow band sub-ionospheric radio transmissions. The transmissions analysed in the dataset are callsigns GBZ (19.58kHz), GQD (22.1kHz), DHO (23.4kHz) and MSF (60kHz). The ionospheric signals reveal perturbations in the ionosphere along the propagation paths of the transmissions during the period of measurement on 2016 August 27. The dataset includes the processed ionospheric signals in Matlab binary format together with scripts that were used to obtain the ionospheric signals from the raw radio data. The experiment and wideband radio receiver are described in Koh et al. 2019 (doi: 10.1029/2019JA026863).The processing to obtain the VLF transmission disturbance is described in Koh et al. 2018 (doi:10.1002/2017RS006456) and Koh et al. 2019 (doi: 10.1029/2019JA026863)Matlab 2014
Phase Diagram for the System KOH + K2CrO4 + KCI + H2O
The solubilities of the K2CrO4 + KCI + KOH + H2O system at 20 degrees C, 40 degrees C, 60 degrees C, and 80 degrees C were determined by an isothermal method, and the phase diagrams were constructed. Meanwhile, the concentration of K2CrO4 in an aqueous solution of KOH was compared with that in an aqueous solution of KOH saturated with KCI. Lastly, analyses and discussions were made on the crystalline areas in the phase diagrams
