    Cretanabis kerzhneri Kim & Jung sp. nov. (Figs 2, 3) Type material. [CRBA] Holotype: Holotype male in a 25×10× 3 mm cabochon-shaped piece of amber. Dorsal and ventral surfaces flat. Etymology. Named in memory of Izya M. Kerzhner, a taxonomist of Nabidae; treated as a noun in genitive case. Diagnosis. As for genus. Type locality and horizon. Uncertain locality in the Kachin State, northern Myanmar; mid-Cretaceous (Mao et al., 2018). Description. Instar III (supposed to belong to this instar). Body ovoid, length 2.36 mm. Coloration. Mostly of brown coloration, nearly unicolorous. Surface and vestiture. Body glabrous, beset partly with long spines on frons, clypeus and mandibular plates of head, thorax laterally, and femora and tibia of legs; third and fourth antennomeres covered with long setae. Structure. Head: hypognathous, length less than width, more than pronotal midline; vertex narrow, narrower than a single compound eye width; ocelli absent; antennae cylindrical, linear, shorter than body length; first antennomere shortest, shorter than head width; second antennomere as long as head width and third antennomere, slightly thicker than third and fourth antennomeres; fourth antennomere longest; proportion of first to fourth segments 0.23: 0.48: 0.43: 0.61; labium missing. Thorax: pronotum trapezoid, anterior width shorter than head width, pronotal midline length as long as 1/2 of basal width,longer than mesothorax midline; mesothorax without distinct wing pad, posterior margin slightly sinuate, posterior width more than pronotal posterior width; legs generally slender; fore femur slightly incrassate and as long as fore tibia; apical part of tibia with dense spines, less than 10 in number; tarsus threesegmented, length less than 1/2 tibia in midleg, and less than 1/3 tibia in hindleg. Abdomen: ovoid, abdominal segment VII widest. Genitalia: not developed. Measurements. (in mm) body length: 2.36; head length 0.51; head width including compound eyes: 0.53; vertex width: 0.11; first antennomere: 0.23; second antennomere: 0.48; third antennomere: 0.43; fourth antennomere: 0.61; anterior pronotal width: 0.28; pronotal midline length: 0.33; basal pronotal maximal width (straight): 0.44; hindleg (femur: tibia: tarsus): 0.88: 1.77: 0.43. Remarks.     Genus <i>Cretanabis</i> Kim & Jung gen. nov. <p> <b>Type species.</b> <i>Cretanabis kerzhneri</i> <b>sp. nov.</b>, by present designation.</p> <p> <b>Etymology.</b> Name derives from a combination of Cretaceous and ‘ <i>Nabis</i> ’, referring to the nabine group from the Cretaceous; gender masculine.</p> <p> <b>Diagnosis.</b> Differs from the nymphs (III instars) of other nabine genera(<i>e</i>. <i>g</i>., <i>Arachnocoris</i> Scott,1881; <i>Gorpis</i> Stål, 1859; <i>Himacerus</i> <i>s</i>. <i>str</i>. Wolff, 1811; <i>Hoplistoscelis</i> Reuter, 1890; <i>Lasiomerus</i> Reuter, 1890; <i>Nabis</i> <i>s</i>. <i>lat</i>. Latreille, 1802; <i>Stalia</i> Reuter, 1872; <i>Stenonabis</i> Reuter, 1890) by the following combination of characters: body ovoid, armed with long sparse spines; head length less than width, width more than first antennomere length; antennae shorter than body length; first segment significantly thick; tapered to apex; third and fourth antennomeres covered with long setae; pronotum trapezoid, basal width less then basal width of mesothorax; femora and tibiae with long spines; tarsus less than 1/2 length of tibia in midleg; tarsus less than 1/3 length of tibia in hindleg; second tarsomere longest in mid and hind legs.</p> <p> <b>Description.</b> Body ovoid, unicolorous. <i>Surface and vestiture</i>. Body glabrous, armed with long spines; head with spines (Fig. 2A, B); antennae covered with long setae (Fig. 2C); pronotum with spines laterally; legs with spines, tibia with dense spines. <i>Structure</i>. Head: hypognathous, wider than long; vertex narrow, narrower than a single compound eye width; antennae cylindrical, linear, shorter than body length; first antennomere shortest, shorter than head width. Genitalia: not visible.</p> <p> <b>Remarks.</b> A structure that morphologically resembles a fossula spongiosa is thinly developed on the apex of fore and middle tibiae.     Mecistoscelis lansburyi Kim et Jung sp. nov. (Figures 1, 2) Diagnosis. Recognized by larger body length more than 6 mm; posterior lobe of pronotum with bracket-shaped markings; hypophysis of left paramere straight, with sharp apex; right paramere with distinct three spines subapically; endosoma membranous with a total of three sclerites. Description. Male: Body narrowly elongated, length 6.5–6.6. Coloration. Generally greenish brown. Head: almost greenish brown, posterior part with dark brown marking, sometimes frons with dark markings; clypeus reddish brown to brown; antennae almost dark brown; first segment pale brown except for dark apex; other segments dark brown; rostrum generally brown. Thorax: pronotum generally greenish brown with dark markings; posterior margin of pronotal collar with convex dark brown marking; posterior lobe of pronotum with one pair of dark bracket-shaped markings; scutellum greenish brown, outer margin darkened; hemelytra mostly hyaline with longitudinal dark line; clavus entirely dark brown; inner part of posterior corium dark brown; cuneus entirely hyaline; legs pale brown; apical part of femur darkened; tibia dark brown; tarsus dark brown. Abdomen: greenish brown. Surface and Vestiture. Body glossy, covered with sparse pubescence; pronotum glossy, rough; scutellum and hemelytra glabrous; hemelytron with distinct punctures. Structure. Head: distinctly prognathous laterally; vertex with longitudinal sulcus, vertex width shorter than head length; compound eye shorter than vertex width, reaching to anterior margin of pronotum, ventral margin of compound eye not close to ventral suture of maxillary plate; antennae longer than length of body; first antennal segment cylindrical, thicker than other segments, shorter than second segment; third segment longer than fourth segment; proportion of first to fourth antennal segments 2.0: 3.4: 7.2: 2.8; labrum as long as first labial segment; labium reaching to hind coxae; proportion of first to fourth labial segments 0.7: 0.7: 0.3: 0.6. Thorax: pronotum trapezoid, mesal longitudinal length of pronotum as long as basal width; suture of pronotal collar obsolete, mesal length longer than width of first antennal segment; calli distinctly swollen; scutellum small, anterior width as long as 1/2 basal pronotum width; lateral margin of hemelytra almost straight, slightly rounded in posterior part; cuneal fracture weakly developed; cuneus elongated shaped; legs slender and extremely long; apical part of femur swollen; first tarsal segment longer than combination of second and third segments. Abdomen: elongate, reaching to apex of cuneus. Genitalia. Left paramere scythe-shaped with long setae; hypophysis straight and long, its apex sharp (Fig. 2A); right paramere rod-shaped, hypophysis bifurcated apically (Fig. 2B), with three distinct spines subapically (Fig. 2C); endosoma membranous with two triangular medial sclerites (ms) and one broad lateral sclerite (ls) (Fig. 2D). Female: Body narrowly elongated, length 8.0–8.1. Coloration. as in male. Surface and Vestiture. as in male. Structure. as in male except for proportion of antennal segment 2.0: 3.1: 6.3: 3.2, and genital segment with long ovipositor exceeding hemelytron (Fig. 1D). Genitalia. Kim leg.; [CNU] Paratypes: 5♂♂ 6♀♀, same data as holotype; [VNMN] Paratypes: 1♂ 1♀, same data as holotype. Host: Schizostachyum dullooa (Gamble) Majumdar (Poaceae)* (Fig. 3). Biology. This species was only collected on Schizostachyum dullooa with specific host relationship. All nymphal stages (1–5 instars) and adults of this species were found on this host plant. Etymology: Named after I. Lansbury as a recognition for his taxonomical study on the Mecistoscelini; a noun in genitive case. Distribution: Vietnam (Northern). Remarks. This species is similar to its congener M. scirtetoides, but can be distinguished by larger body; right paramere with three spines; and distinct endosomal sclerites of male genitalia. In particular, the character state (three spines of right paramere) is consistent, which can be one of the important characters for this species. Seit mehr als zehn Jahren häuft die Handelsbilanz der Vereinigten Staaten ununterbrochen Defizit um Defizit an. Der 1986 begonnene allmähliche Abbau ist jedoch Anfang der 90er Jahre wieder ins Stocken geraten. Zur Erklärung der Handelsbilanzbewegungen werden gewöhnlich zwei Hauptdeterminanten angeführt: der konjunkturelle "Lag" und die Preiswettbewerbsfähigkeit. In diesem Artikel werden nun die Auswirkungen dieser beiden Determinanten auf die Entwicklung des amerikanischen Defizits seit Anfang der 80er Jahre analysiert und diskutiert.The Enduring American Trade Deficit, by Yannick L'Horty and Kim Sébastien Pham.
