Kerin foresees world farming catastrophe
No full textThe International Agricultural Research Conference discussed Australia and many other countries facing a catastrophe on a scale yet undreamt of if they failed to develop sustainable farming systems. The Minister for Primary Industries and Energy, Mr Kerin addressed leading international agricultural scientists and aid agencies in Canberra, saying that the most urgent and challenging exercise was to develop systems and crop strains for sustainable agriculture. He also met with the Consultative Group on International Agricultural Research (CGIAR) and said that we will see a catastrophe if we fail.

Integration of kneipp therapy in to health treatment program of health center dobrna
Get PDFDiplomsko delo obravnava staro metodo zdravljenja z vodo, katere utemeljitelj je bil nemški duhovnik Sebastian Kneipp. Čeprav je metoda drugod po svetu dobro poznana, je v Sloveniji še vedno ne poznamo najbolje. S tem namenom smo želeli v teoretičnem delu bolj nazorno predstaviti in raziskati knajpanje kot naturopatsko metodo, kako se je razvilo in katere stebre zdravljenja zajema. Prav tako smo se osredotočili na ponudbo knajpanja v zdravilišču Dobrna, kjer smo v praktičnem delu s pomočjo metode anketiranja raziskali, kako dobro je knajpanje poznano gostom zdravilišča in kako so zadovoljni s storitvami knajpanja. S pomočjo dobljenih rezultatov smo preverili zastavljene hipoteze. V zaključku diplomskega dela smo zajeli svoje ugotovitve, ideje in predloge za vključevanje knajpanja v zdraviliško ponudbo zdravilišča Dobrna.This thesis is focused on an old natural method of healing with water. Founder of this method was a Bavarian priest Sebastian Kneipp. This metod is well known, but in Slovenia we don\u27t hear a lot about it. So in the theoretical part of this thesis we wish to more clearly present and explore the method of kneipping as a naturopathic method. We looked at all of five pillars of this treatment method. Our focus is also on the kneipp spa facilities in health center Dobrna, where we performed a survey with the guests of the spa. We analysed the survey results, based on which we checked our hypotheses. In conclusion we have included our findings, ideas and sugestions for integrating the method of kneipping in to health center of Dobrna
AUDITORS AND CERTIFIED FRAUD EXAMINERS INVESTIGATION METHODOLOGY - A COMPARISON
Get PDFV diplomskem delu smo proučili metodiko preiskovanja prevar med gospodarskimi revizorji in metodiko preiskovanja prevar med pooblaščenimi preiskovalci in ju med seboj primerjali. Najprej smo opredelili pojem gospodarske prevare, predstavili motive zaposlencev, zaradi katerih storijo prevaro, opredelili načine odkrivanja prevar ter proučili odgovornost poslovodstva, ki jo nosi pri preprečevanju in odkrivanju prevar. V nadaljevanju smo proučili metodike dela notranjih, zunanjih in državnih revizorjev pri preiskovanju prevar. Znotraj tega smo predstavili njihovo odgovornost in strokovna pravila, ki jih morajo pri preiskovanju spoštovati ter na praktičnem primeru prikazali preiskovanje prevare notranjega revizorja in ga analizirali. V naslednjem poglavju smo proučili metodiko dela pooblaščenih preiskovalcev. V sklopu tega poglavja smo predstavili značilnosti forenzične revizije in znanja ter veščine, ki jih mora pooblaščeni preiskovalec pridobiti oziroma imeti za uspešno in učinkovito opravljanje svojega dela. Na koncu tega poglavja pa smo prav tako na praktičnem primeru prikazali preiskovanje prevare pooblaščenega preiskovalca in ga analizirali. Nazadnje pa smo proučevane metodike med seboj primerjali po teoretični in praktični plati ter med njimi poiskali bistvene razlike.In our work we described the methodology of investigation of fraud between auditors and certified fraud examiners and did comparision between them. At first we defined the concept of economic fraud and presented motives of employees for making frauds. We defined different fraud detection techniques and examined the responsibility of management to prevent and detect fraud. Next, we examined the methodology of internal, external and state auditors in investigating fraud. We presented their responsibility and rules, which they must follow in investigation. We also described the fraud investigation of internal auditor on a practical case. In the next chapter we examined methodology of certified fraud examiners. We presented the characteristics of forensic audits and the knowledge and skills, which a certified fraud examiner must obtain to be successful at his work. We concluded this chapter with a practical case and analisys of fraud investigation by certified fraud examiner. Finally we compared methodology in a theoretical and practical aspect and we showed the main defferences between them
