The Performance Of Cattle Dairy Business (Case Study In Senduro District, Lumajang Regency)
This study aims to analyze the performance of dairy cattle farming businesses in Senduro District, Lumajang Regency, by identifying factors that influence the production and income of farmers. The variables analyzed include the number of lactating dairy cattle, the amount of green fodder per day, the amount of additional feed per day, the age of farmers, education level, livestock farming experience, the number of household members, the number of workers, training that has been attended and extension in livestock farming. The approach used is quantitative descriptive with multiple linear regression analysis methods. The results of the study showed that simultaneously all independent variables had a significant effect (P <0.05) on the performance of livestock farming businesses. Partially, the variables of the number of lactating cows, the amount of concentrate feed, and the number of family members showed a significant effect (P <0.05) on the performance of dairy farming businesses in Senduro District. The conclusion of this study is that the success of dairy farming businesses is greatly influenced by the management of production inputs, especially in terms of the number of productive cows and the efficiency of feeding. This study is expected to be a reference in the development of dairy farming businesses and improving the welfare of farmers in highland areas

PENGARUH ALKALINASI AIR KAPUR DAN FERMENTASI JERAMI JAGUNG MENGGUNAKAN Aspergilus niger TERHADAP KANDUNGAN BAHAN KERING (BK), BAHAN ORGANIK (BO) DAN SERAT KASAR (SK)
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui nilai kandungan Bahan kering (BK), Bahan Organik (BO) dan SeratKasar (SK). Materi yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah jerami jagung umur 90 hari sebanyak 15 kg.Metode penelitian ini adalah percobaan dengan Rancangan Acak Lengkap (RAL) pola Faktorial ortogonal 3 x 3,masing-masing diulang sebanyak 3 kali. Penambahan kapur Ca(OH)2 4%, 5% dan 6% dari berat sampel,kemudian masing-masing difermentasi Aspergillus niger 1,02 x 108 dengan dosis 3ml, 4ml dan 5ml dari beratsampel ditambah kontrol tanpa alkalinasi dan fermentasi. Data hasil yang diperoleh dianalisis ragam (anova) duaarah jika ada pengaruh nyata dilanjutkan dengan Uji Beda Nyata Terkecil (BNT). Dari Hasil analisa ragammenunjukkn pengaruh sangat nyata (P<0,01) terhadap nilai kandungan Bahan Kering (BK) dan Serat Kasar(SK), sedangkan pada kandungan Bahan Organik (BO) berpengaruh nyata (P<0,05). Nilai rataan BK, BO danSK masing-masing berkisar (86,99%-89,67%), (85,25%-95,86%) dan (29,26%-37,21%). ANALISIS PRODUKTIVITAS AYAM JANTAN LAYER HASIL SUBTITUSI TEPUNG MAGGOT DAN JAGUNG : ANALYSIS OF PRODUCTIVITY OF CHICKENS MALE LAYER RESULTING FROM SUBSTITUTION OF MAGGOT FLOUR AND CORN
The purpose of this study was to analyze the productivity of layer roosters related to feed consumption, body weight gain (PBB), feed conversion ratio (FCR), carcass weight and income over feed cost (IOFC). The materials used in this study were finisher phase layer roosters (aged 22 days to 60 days). The method used was experimental method using Randomized Block Design ( RBD ) with 4 treatments and 4 groups, each group consisted of 9 chickens and the total sample used was 144 finisher phase layer roosters (22 days old). The treatments given were P1 = 100% commercial feed, P2 = 80% commercial feed plus 20% BSF (Black Soldier Fly) maggot flour and corn, P3 = 70% commercial feed plus 30% BSF (Black Soldier Fly) maggot flour and corn, P4 = 60% commercial feed plus 40% BSF (Black Soldier Fly) maggot flour and corn. The results showed that the use of maggot BSF (Black Soldier Fly) flour substitution feed and corn had a very significant effect (P<0.01) on feed consumption and income over feed cost (IOFC), but did not show a significant effect (P>0.05) on body weight gain, feed conversion ratio, and carcass weight. The conclusion of this research is that substitution feed meal maggot BSF (Black Soldier Fly) and corn can increase the productivity of layer roosters seen from the amount of feed consumption decreased by 6.6% to 8.4% followed by an increase in income over feed cost by 19.11% to 34.28%. The suggestion of this research is the use of maggot BSF (Black Soldier Fly) and corn substitution feed can be used up to 40% with 60% commercial feedTujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis produktivitas ayam jantan layer berkaitan dengan konsumsi pakan, pertambahan bobot badan (PBB), feed convertion ratio (FCR), bobot karkas dan income over feed cost (IOFC). Materi yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah ayam jantan layer fase finisher (umur 22 hari sampai 60 hari). Metode yang digunakan adalah metode percobaan menggunakan Rancangan Acak Kelompok (RAK) dengan 4 perlakuan dan 4 kelompok, tiap kelompok terdiri dari 9 ekor ayam dan total sampel yang digunakan 144 ekor ayam jantan layer fase finisher (umur 22 hari). Perlakuan yang diberikan adalah P1 = 100% Pakan komersial, P2 = 80% Pakan komersial ditambah 20% tepung maggot BSF (Black Soldier Fly) dan jagung, P3 = 70% Pakan komersial ditambah 30% tepung maggot BSF (Black Soldier Fly) dan jagung, P4 = 60% Pakan komersial ditambah 40% tepung maggot BSF (Black Soldier Fly) dan jagung. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa penggunaan pakan subtitusi tepung maggot BSF (Black Soldier Fly) dan jagung berpengaruh sangat nyata (P<0,01) terhadap konsumsi pakan dan income over feed cost (IOFC), tetapi tidak menunjukan pengaruh nyata (P>0,05) pada pertambahan bobot badan, feed convertion ratio, dan bobot karkas. Kesimpulan penelitian ini bahwa Pakan subtitusi tepung maggot BSF (Black Soldier Fly) dan jagung mampu meningkatkan produktivitas ayam jantan layer dilihat dari jumlah konsumsi pakan menurun sebesar 6,6% sampai dengan 8,4% diikuti dengan peningkatkan income over feed cost sebesar 19,11% sampai dengan 34,28%. Saran dari penelitian ini penggunaan pakan subtitusi maggot BSF (Black Soldier Fly) dan jagung dapat digunakan sampai kadar 40% dengan 60% pakan komersial
BoerPE Goat Blood Profile as Indicators of Crossbreeding Resistance
Cases of clinical reproduction in crossbred cattle have been reported with the incidence of decreased reproductive performance. Crossbreeding resistance is usually followed by low immunity. Blood profile is one of the parameters that illustrate the immunity of livestocks. Goat crossbreeding resistance has never been studied. The purpose of this study was to analyze the crossbreeding resistance of the F1 BoerPE goat and her mothers by analyzing their blood profile. F1 BoerPE goat is the offspring of crossbreeding between Boer buck with PE goat. The research method was case study. The primary data were obtained from examination of blood profile and Physiological Status of F1 BoerPE goat and her mothers. The secondary data obtained from recording age and body weight. The blood profile data were analyzed by t test. The observed blood profile indicators were neutrophils, monocytes and lymphocytes. The results showed that the physiological status of F1 BoerPE goat and her mothers was not significant. Nevertheless, the number of neutrophils, lymphocytes and monocytes was significantly different (p˂0.01). The average (%) number of neutrophils, lymphocytes and monocytes of PE goats was 37.92 ± 1.37; 51.85 ± 1.4; 3.87 ± 0.21. while the average blood profile of F1 BoerPE was 46.16 ± 2.1; 58.06 ± 3.4; 5.51 ± 0.18. The average number of neutrophils, lymphocytes and monocytes F1 BoerPE goat was higher compared to the parent. It is indicated that there were crossbreeding resistance of F1 BoerPE goat

PERBANDINGAN PROFIL NUTRIEN DARAH (TRIGLISERIDA DAN GLUKOSA) INDUK KAMBING PERANAKAN ETTAWA (PE) DAN GENERASI 1 BoerPE
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui dan menganalisa Perbandingan Profil Nutrien Darah (Trigliserida Dan Glukosa) Induk Kambing Peranakan Ettawa (PE) Dan Generasi 1 BoerPE. Generasi 1 BoerPE adalah hasil crossbreeding Pejantan Boer dan Induk PE. Metode yang digunakan Survey.Pemngamilan sampel secara purposive sampling. Kriteria sampel adalah Induk Kambing PE umur 4-5 tahun dan Generasi 1 BoerPE jantan umur rata-rata 1,5 tahun yang memiliki hubungan kekerabatan langsung. Variabel yang diamati adalah Nilai Trigliserida dan Glukosa. Analisa data dengan menggunakan Uji t tidak berpasangan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Nilai Trigliserida Induk Kambing PE tidak berbeda nyata (P>0,05) dengan Generasi 1 BoerPE pejantan. Rataan Nilai Trigliserida Induk Kambing PE adalah 36,4 mg/dl dan Generasi 1 BoerPE adalah 33,6 mg/dl. Nilai Glukosa Induk PE berbeda nyata (P<0,05) dengan Generasi 1 BoerPE. Rataan nilai Glukosa untuk induk Kambing PE adalah 72,1 mg/dl dan Generasi 1 BoerPE 88 mg/dl. Kesimpulan penelitian adalah nilai Trigliserida induk Kambing PE relative sama dengan Kambing Generasi 1 BoerPE namun nilai Glukosa berbeda. Kambing generasi 1 BoerPE lebih ungul dibandingkan dengan induk kambing PE. Nilai Trigliserida Dan Glukosa dapat digunakan sebagai alat pembantu pemilihan Generasi 1 BoerPE sebagai bibit unggul Kata kunci : Trigliserida, Glukosa, cross breeding, Kambing PE dan Generasi 1 BoerP
Analysis strategy of Sheep farm development in Bondowoso Regency
The sheep population in Bondowoso Regency increases every year, but this number cannot meet the demand for sheep meat. Therefore, this study was conducted to analyze the internal and external factors affecting sheep farming in Bondowoso Regency, as well as to determine the strategies that should be carried out according to experts and analyzed using the Analysis Hierarchy Process (AHP). This study used purposive sampling, where the number of respondents was 30 sheep farmers. Furthermore, questionnaires were distributed to 2 experts in the field of animal husbandry. Questionnaires from farmers were processed using SWOT analysis and questionnaires from livestock experts were processed using AHP. The results of the SWOT analysis are that 50% of respondents are in Quadrant 1, 6.67% in Quadrant 2, 16.67% in Quadrant 3, and 26.67% in Quadrant 4. The conclusion of this study was based on SWOT analysis, 50% of sheep farmers in Bondowoso Regency are in a very favorable condition. Based on AHP, the most recommended variable was code V1, "available natural resources, especially forage, and agricultural waste". Furthermore, the most recommended strategy is code S1, "Livestock businesses must be integrated from upstream to downstream industries, such as producing feed, selling using the latest market prices and livestock manure processed into organic fertilizer".
