An iterative alghorithm for finding a control, that maximizes a long term growth rate of expected utility is developed. The utility is measured by exponential utility function. The algorithm is derived for both discrete time and continuous time chain. Subsequently, the results are applied on the problem of optimally managing port- folio with proportional transaction costs. The dynamics of the investor's position is derived and the consequent process is approximated by Markov chain. Using the iterative alghorithm, the optimal trading strategy is numerically found. Summary
The work deals with the attitudes of primary school pupils towards physical education. The man method was the method of questionnaire. Research group consisted from 447 pupils in the city of Žilina and its surroundings. We found out that in the group of primary school pupils there is a domination of indifferent attitude towards the physical education. Comparing the researches of Görner and Starší (2001) and Bartik (2009), the number of students with a positive attitude decreased significantly. The level of negative attitudes from the perspective of intersex differences is almost the same.Adamčák Štefan, Bartík Pavol. No full textAutor v príspevku ponúka náhľad Európskeho súdu pre ľudské práva a Ústavného súdu Slovenskej republiky na uplatňovanie princípu právnej istoty cestou zjednocovania rozhodovacej činnosti súdov. Zaoberá sa procesnými a mimoprocesnými nástrojmi zjednocovania Najvyšším súdom Slovenskej republiky, ale aj jeho praktickými aspektmi v podobe zverejňovania rozhodnutí najvyššieho súdu, činnosťou analytickej jednotky a zjednocovacími senátmi. V závere analyzuje pôsobnosť veľkého senátu najvyššieho súdu vo svetle jeho posledných rozhodnutí.

Príspevok sa venuje vybraným problémom, ktoré sú spojené s uplatňovaním komparatívneho prístupu k skúmaniu miestnych daní so zameraním na daň z nehnuteľnosti, a to v kontexte rozdielneho prístupu jednotlivých štátov k posúdeniu, čo je miestna daň, ako aj predmetu zdanenia daňou z nehnuteľností a s tým spojeného pojmoslovia, rozpočtového určenia či metodiky vykazovania príjmov z týchto druhov platieb daňového charakteru. Autorka tieto aspekty skúmala na vzorke štátov Vyšehradskej skupiny.

Revisiting the Partial Power Processing Concept: Case Study of a 5-kW 99.11% Efficient Flyback Converter-Based Battery Charger
No full textThis article proposes an analytical methodology to evaluate the performance of the main partial power processing (PPP) architectures in terms of the improvements in the system's conversion efficiency. This analysis considers the influence of the system's voltage gain, the auxiliary dc/dc converter's efficiency, and the possibility of bidirectional power flow. Herein, the key PPP architectures are, thus, modeled and benchmarked. The presented results attest to the series configuration as the most efficient PPP circuit solution, with no limits on the system voltage gain, contrary to the generalized results found in today's literature. To assess these results and the significance of the proposed analysis, a well-known, simple, and cost-effective flyback topology has been designed and tested for a series PPP circuit solution able to effectively interface a 5-kW battery energy storage system (BESS) to a 700-V dc grid. A relatively high power conversion efficiency and compact hardware are achieved due to the reduced size requirements on the input and output filtering stages. Above all, while explaining the PPP concept, this study shows that even converter circuits known for their low power efficiency can be used to derive highly efficient systems. A design approach is, thus, provided to facilitate the design of the presented PPP circuit, and measurements are, finally, carried out to compare the obtained results with the expected ones derived from the developed analytical models. RNDr. Juraj Glosík, DrSc., Department of Surface and Plasma Science Abstract: This thesis focuses mainly on the study of the dissociative recombina- tion of N+ 2 ions with electrons and the action spectroscopy of the first overtone vibration transitions of HCO+ and HOC+ ions. The Cryo-SA-CRDS apparatus was utilized in order to study the dissociative recombination of N+ 2 ions in the temperature range of 140-250 K. The obtained recombination rate coefficients for the ground and the first vibrationally excited states of N+ 2 ions are in good agreement with the latest theoretical calculations. The laser-induced reactions and the 22-pole trap apparatus were used in order to probe the action spectra of the HCO+/HOC+ ions. The radiative lifetime of the 2ν1 state of both HCO+ and HOC+ ions and the collisional quenching coefficient of 2ν1 state of HCO+ ions for different collisional partners were obtained. Pro studium disociativní rekombinace iontů N+ 2 v teplotním rozsahu 140-250 K byla použita aparatura Cryo-SA-CRDS. Získané rychlostní koeficienty rekombinace pro základní a první vibračně excitovaný stav iontů N+ 2 jsou v dobré shodě s nejnovějšími teoretickými výpočty. Pro zkoumání akčních spekter iontů HCO+/HOC+ byla použita technika laserem indukovaných reakcí a aparatura s 22-pólovou iontovou pastí. Byla získána radiační doba života stavu 2ν1 iontů HCO+ a HOC+ a rychlostní koeficient pro srážkovou deexcitaci stavu 2ν1 iontů HCO+ pro různé kolizní partnery.
