Thermal Expansion of Forsterite, Mg2SiO4 : 1. Measurements
No full textThermal expansion of forsterite, Mg2SiO4, is measured up to 1,600 K by the dilatometric method. The present results of volume thermal expansion Yv is 3.20 percent from 300 to 1,200 K and expansion coefficient αv is 40.5 × 10-6 K-1 at 1,200 K. They are close to those of a natural olivine (Suzuki, 1976), but are 4.4 and 11 percent smaller as compared with those reported in the former paper (Suzuki et al., 1984). The Yv and αv of forsterite are 5.00 percent and 46.7 × 10-6 K-1 respectively, at 1,600 K

Persistence of Rademacher-type and Sobolev-to-Lipschitz properties
No full textWe consider the Rademacher-and Sobolev-to-Lipschitztype properties for arbitrary quasi-regular strongly local Dirichlet spaces. We discuss the persistence of these properties under localization, globalization, transfer to weighted spaces, tensorization, and direct integration. As byproducts, we obtain: necessary and sufficient conditions to identify a quasi-regular strongly local Dirichlet form on an extended metric topological sigma-finite possibly non-Radon measure space with the Cheeger energy of the space; the tensorization of intrinsic distances; the tensorization of the Varadhan short-time asymptotics. Her Suzuki 2-grubu, Suzuki 2-gruplar teorisini derinleştiren bir baz cismi ile ilişkilendirilebilir. Abelyen Suzuki 2-grupları için belli bir kohomolojik değişmez cinsinden sınıflandırma yapılmıştır. Bu sınıflandırmada, özel olarak, yetkin bir cisim üzerinde, mertebesi 2^n olan Suzuki 2-gruplarının tekliği ispatlanmıştır. Dördüncü mertebeden abelyen olmayan Suzuki 2-grupları birkaç farklı tipte sınıflandırılmıştır. Yetkin bir cisim K üzerindeki serbest bir Suzuki 2-grubu G’nin her elemanı g için, <g^T> altgrubu abelyen ise, G grubu, quasi-abelyen Suzuki 2-grubu olarak adlandırılmıştır; ve bu grupların sınıflandırılması, belli şartları sağlayan bir f:KxK -> K fonksiyonu ile yapılmıştır. Smart Suzuki 2-grubu olarak adlandırığımız diğer bir çeşit grubun yapısı ise karakteristiği iki olan iki cismi ilişkilendiren bir karakteristik fonksiyon alfa: K -> k cinsinden tarif edilmiştir. Abelyen olmayan Suzuki 2-grupları için örnekler verilmiş ve 3x3 matris temsillerinin varolması için bazı kriterler belirlenmiştir.Suzuki 2-groups are studied: abelian of arbitrary exponent and nonabelian of exponent 4. For any Suzuki 2-group, one can associate a ground field which makes the theory of Suzuki 2-groups deeper. We proved uniqueness of an abelian Suzuki 2-group of any given exponent 2^n over a perfect ground field. When the ground field is not perfect, we provide a classification of abelian Suzuki 2-groups of exponent 4 in terms of a certain cohomological invariant. Nonabelian Suzuki 2-groups G of exponent 4 are classified into several types. One type appears when G is free over a perfect field K such that for any element g in G, the subgroup <g^T> is abelian. We call G a quasi-abelian Suzuki 2-group and give the classification in terms of a map f:KxK -> K satisfying certain properties. For another type of G, which we call smart Suzuki 2-group, we describe the group structure in terms of the characteristic map alpha: K -> k relating a pair of fields of characteristic 2. We provide also some examples of nonabelian Suzuki 2-groups and give some criteria for the existence of their linear presentation by 3x3 matrices.DoktoraPh
