Matching pursuit of an adaptive impulse dictionary for bearing fault diagnosis
The sparse decomposition based on matching pursuit is an adaptive sparse expression of the signals. An adaptive matching pursuit algorithm that uses an impulse dictionary is introduced in this article for rolling bearing vibration signal processing and fault diagnosis. First, a new dictionary model is established according to the characteristics and mechanism of rolling bearing faults. The new model incorporates the rotational speed of the bearing,, the dimensions of the bearing and the bearing fault status, among other parameters. The model can simulate the impulse experienced by the bearing at different bearing fault levels. A simulation experiment suggests that a new impulse dictionary used in a matching pursuit algorithm combined with a genetic algorithm has a more accurate effect on bearing fault diagnosis than using a traditional impulse dictionary. However, those two methods have some weak points, namely, poor stability, rapidity and controllability. Each key parameter in the dictionary model and its influence on the analysis results are systematically studied, and the impulse location is determined as the primary model parameter. The adaptive impulse dictionary is established by changing characteristic parameters progressively. The dictionary built by this method has a lower redundancy and a higher relevance between each dictionary atom and the analyzed vibration signal. The matching pursuit algorithm of an adaptive impulse dictionary is adopted to analyze the simulated signals. The results indicate that the characteristic fault components could be accurately extracted from the noisy simulation fault signals by this algorithm, and the result exhibited a higher efficiency in addition to an improved stability, rapidity and controllability when compared with a matching pursuit approach that was based on a genetic algorithm. We experimentally analyze the early-stage fault signals and composite fault signals of the bearing. The results further demonstrate the effectiveness and superiority of the matching pursuit algorithm that uses the adaptive impulse dictionary. Finally, this algorithm is applied to the analysis of engineering data, and good results are achieved.close9

Sinofemcentrism and its manifestations in art by Yu Hong, Cui Xiuwen, and Xiang Jing
In response to the relative absence of contemporary Chinese women artists and their art in art historical discourses and in the art world, this study investigates the marginalization and symbolic annihilation of contemporary women artists and their art and the research conundrum on this neglected subject. This research suggests a new theoretical framework, sinofemcentrism, to facilitate the discussion and investigation of contemporary Chinese art by women, and examines sinofemcentrism’s manifestations in art by three contemporary Chinese female artists: Yu Hong, Cui Xiuwen, and Xiang Jing.
Sinofemcentrism is designated to the possibilities of a Chinese-female-centered worldview emerged from a strong sense of agency, self-awareness, and consciousness concerning the world about Chinese women’s race, sex, and artistic ability.
All three artists, though their mediums vary, are keen to depict female subjectivity through figurative representation. As a painter, Yu Hong is interested in the perceived minutiae of women’s lives against the grand narrative of Chinese history. Yu Hong’s female subjectivity centers on Chinese women and renders them individual players of the world, who are directly influenced by the history of China and the world.
Cui Xiuwen (1967-2018) was a mixed media artist. Interested in Chinese women’s psyche and the social, cultural, and economical implications that contributed to the systemic exploitation of women, Cui Xiuwen’s figurative works since her 2000 video work Lady’s Room continued to show her concern about the sexual violence Chinese women and children endured, but her subjects were rendered gradually more passive, frail, and stationary.
Keen to explore the complex internality of human nature, Xiang Jing’s sculptural depiction of the female body embraced signs of age, the diversity of body types, a wide range of emotions, and female intimacy, friendship, and solidarity.
This thesis concludes that art by Yu Hong, Cui Xiuwen, and Xiang Jing reflects what I have chosen to call their sinofemcentric stance which is unique to their Chinese-female-centered worldview and personal and professional experience. It is argued that Sinofemcentrism is a suitable theoretical framework to facilitate art historical discourses on the works of Chinese women artists from China, the greater Sinophone areas, and in diaspora.Art Histor
Native p-type transparent conductive CuI via intrinsic defects
The ability of CuI to be doped p-type via the introduction of native defects has been investigated using first-principles pseudopotential calculations based on density functional theory. The Cu vacancy has a lower formation energy than any of the other native defects, which include I vacancy (V(I)), Cu interstitial (Cu(i)), I interstitial (I(i)), Cu antisite (Cu(I)), and I antisite (I(Cu)). Combined with its shallow acceptor level, it offers sufficient hole concentrations in CuI. The natural band alignments as compared to zinc-blende ZnS, ZnSe, and ZnTe have also been calculated in order to further identify the p-type dopability of CuI. It is found that CuI has a relatively high valence band maximum and conduction band minimum, which also makes it easy to dope CuI p-type in terms of the doping limit rule. In addition, the small effective mass of the light hole-about 0.303m(0)-can provide high mobility and p-type conductivity in CuI.
