This thesis used a synthetic tear to characterize tear biomarkers albumin, glucose, lactoferrin, and lysozyme. Different chemical concentrations of these four selected biomarkers were made. Each solution was analyzed with the Raman spectroscopy technique from the solutions obtained with distilled water using a volume of 10μl (minimum volume extracted from a person). The spectra were obtained to identify the spectral bands of each biomarker. The spectra obtained were examined analogously and then processed using a program made in MATLAB, applying a filter that removed the noise obtained during the measurements. In a complementary way, a principal component analysis was applied, which allowed us to observe a set of Raman spectra of different concentrations classified according to their similar characteristics. In addition, this thesis presents a pilot study of in vivo tear analysis of 10 random volunteers. This study compares the spectra of the albumin and glucose biomarkers from the synthetic tear with the real tear to determine the bands that coincide with each other biomarkers. It will allow the diagnosis of diabetes among different types of diseases related to biomarkers

This research presents a narratological analysis of Hay palabras que los peces no entienden by the ecuadorian author María Fernanda Heredia, by applying the theory of the narratology developed by Mieke Bal in La teoría de la narrativa and Iniciación a la narratología by Manuel Corrales. Within the literary analysis determined that structural, formal and technical aspects used the author in her literary creation. This analysis focuses mainly on the following items: events, actants, time, space, narration, opponent, recipient, sender, and targeting. This modest study could guide young readers to start at the basic literary analysis and consider other unknown aspects within the whole narrative of Maria Fernanda Heredia

The philosopher José María Rey y Heredia (1818-1861) wrote in 1865 the book Teoría Transcendental de las Cantidades Imaginarias, which is considered the first significant theory published in Spain about the way to consider complex numbers. Its author developed a metaphysical model of algebra to merge and harmonize philosophy and mathematics by means of imaginary quantities understanding, and taking as reference the Kant's table of categories. The contents of Rey's book are described in this article, from the philosophical and mathematical fundamentals to the mathematical results, analyzing them by taking into account their historical contextLa Teoría trascendental de las cantidades imaginarias (1865), del filósofo José María Rey y Heredia (1818-1861) se considera la primera referencia significativa publicada en España sobre la interpretación de los números complejos.

This study, entitled "Analysis from the actantial dimensions in the works: Friend is written with H and there words that fish do not understand Maria Fernanda Heredia" had as its main objective to make a literary analysis to the characters in the two Ecuadorian novels of author Maria Fernanda Heredia. To achieve this overall objective, had to be applied in the first instance, the literature method comprising -through the compilation of bibliographic sources such as the internet - crucial concepts and terms for the study. the inductive method was also applied, as from detailed study of the novels of Heredia, several general conclusions were obtained regarding the actantial roles of the characters
