Design of a High-Performance Low-1/f-Noise Low-Dropout for Power Management Units

This article introduces an innovative, fully integrated low-dropout (LDO) specifically designed for low-power applications, capable of handling a wide range of load currents. By employing dynamic biasing to enhance noise performance, the LDO shows a noise equal to 14 μV/ √ Hz at f < 1 kHz. The LDO demonstrates remarkable efficiency with a load regulation (LDR) of 3.8 mV/A and a line regulation (LNR) of 0.71 mV/V. It boasts a rapid settling time of 1 μs during load transitions up to 100 mA and a minimal quiescent current of 5 μA. The regulator consistently provides a 2.6 V output for input voltages between 2.8 V and 4.8 V, with a dropout voltage of 67 mV, supporting load currents from 0 mA to 100 mA over a temperature range of −25 °C to +125 °C. The design is based on a 150 nm CMOS process to ensure high sensitivity and high performance, making it an ideal choice for battery-operated systems

The intricacy of diagnosis, complicated human cultural behaviors, and incomprehension of potential economic costs have made this field scientifically dubious and unappealing to researchers. There is room for researchers to develop specific molecular or immunological methods to aid diagnosis. Morphological identification needs to be made by molecular approaches like molecular markers, genetic markers, phylogenetic analysis to solve the long due misunderstandings of the host associations and host ranges for several species of fish helminths, wrong taxonomy, and distribution. Keywords: Fish parasites, Helminths, Foodborne Zoonosi

Three Essays on Gender in South Asia

This dissertation explores distinct facets of the association between social institutions and family formation, as it pertains to women in South Asia. In Chapter II, I analyze an increase in the legal age of marriage for women in India and find the policy led to a permanent decrease in teen marriage, despite a lack of widespread enforcement. In communities where the national policy represents a tightening of standards over current norms, the law can benefit young women. In Chapter III, I find that decreases in income lead to increases in crimes in the name of honor. The results indicate that honor killings, primarily believed to be culturally or religiously motivated, are partially explained by shocks to income--short periods of economic distress can increase the risk of violence against vulnerable members of the population. Finally, in Chapter IV, I provide evidence for co-dependencies in fertility behavior in joint household residences. The results highlight the existence of fertility rivalry as a means to improve social status.2023-08-2

Thesis (S.M.)--Massachusetts Institute of Technology, Dept. of Architecture, 2012.This electronic version was submitted by the student author. The certified thesis is available in the Institute Archives and Special Collections.Cataloged from student-submitted PDF version of thesis.Includes bibliographical references.America's symbols of governance, such as the ubiquitous state capitols and state capitol malls, are classically inspired European architecture and planning of reason and nature, adopted in America by Jefferson in 18th century as symbols of democratic institutions. These symbols are in contradiction to our evolving dialogue with democracy that are subject to laws of 'proper' use and extreme security. The National Mall as a symbol of democratic values, has been reduced to a synthetic image of stability built upon a preserved image that masks the underlying issues of a compromised territory of, unstable boundaries governed by ad-hoc laws, and privatized overtones that distort the otherwise democratic message embodied by these symbols of governance. Throughout American cities these same conditions are stifling otherwise democratic public spaces. This thesis articulates the representation of the last democratic space in America, post 9-11, as a critique based proposal that challenges our current and future negotiations with power in the built environment. Recognizing the challenge of a formal intervention upon a contradictory site, the National Mall will serve as the stage for testing a democratic space that communicates the asymmetrical relationships of public's dialogue with governance in 'public' spaces. While the Mall cannot be upheld as an egalitarian field, objects however can substantiate or infuse a democratic field within. This thesis justifies a form necessary to represent such a space, investigating compromised symbols that can be appropriated and redefined to provide functions and representation of conditions the National Mall distorts. The proposal infuses within the program responses to all major impositions of public spaces as a method of exposing the unstable conditions of democratic values residing on comprised fields. The purpose is not to render an ideal democratic space, but an independently operating machinelike space that highlights the context's incongruous relationships.by Amna Ansari.S.M
