Jasna Šegedin: Zdravamarija jedne grmuše
Full text linkThe author analyses this first book published in the Series Žilković of the Town Library Korčula using the method of '’close reading. '' He evaluates poems by Jasna Šegedin from this collection on the basis of the impression that the words of certain verses leave on him. He observes their immersion in the geographical locality of Žrnovo and beyond, of the island of Korčula. Especially, he underlines their dialectal form that boosts the power of poetic expression. He talks about the various manifestations of island life, especially in times of scarcity in the past, and how they are reflected in the sensibility of the poet, which turns them into literary form. Further on, he connects traditional beliefs and customs with the lyric forms of this talented poet, and shows that they serve as prefigurations of the successful verses and poetic images. He particularly points out to the anthropological background of the individual poems. He emphasizes, on the example of some short poems, how such a sensible and sensitive poetic nature could not remain indifferent to the ecological devastation in the postindustrial age. Taking into account the originality of her poetic talent and her life experience of growing up in this dramatic setting, the author of the article concludes that Jasna Šegedin managed to sublimate these elements in the best Croatian poetry.Autor analizira ovu prvu knjigu objavljenu u biblioteci Žilković Gradske knjižnice Korčula metodom tzv. close reading, odnosno vrjednuje pjesme Jasne Šegedin iz ove zbirke na temelju utiska koje na njega
ostavljaju riječi pojedinih stihova. Uočava njihovu uronjenost u zemljopisni lokalitet Žrnova i šire otoka Korčule. Posebno ističe njihovu dijalektalnu formu koja pojačava snagu poetskog izričaja. Govori o raznim
manifestacijama otočkog života, osobito u vrijeme oskudice u prošlosti, te kako se one odražavaju na senzibilnost pjesnikinje, koja ih pretvara u istinski književni oblik. Dalje povezuje tradicionalna vjerovanja i običaje sa stihovima ove talentirane pjesnikinje i pokazuje kako ona služe kao prefiguracije za uspjele stihove i pjesničke slike. Pritom osobito ukazuje na antropološku pozadinu pojedinih pjesama. Ističe, na primjerima nekih kraćih pjesama, kako jedna ovako senzibilna i senzitivna pjesnička priroda nije mogla ostati ravnodušnom prema ekološkoj devastaciji u postindustrijskom dobu. Uzimajući u obzir originalnost njezina pjesničkog talenta i njezino životno iskustvo odrastanja u tom dramatičnom ambijentu, autor članka zaključuje da je Jasna Šegedin uspjela sublimirati te datosti u ponajbolje hrvatsko pismo

On a construction of quaternionic and octonionic Riemann surfaces

analogs of the classical Riemann surfaces.
The construction of these manifolds has nice peculiarities and the scrutiny
of Bernhard Riemann approach to Riemann surfaces, mainly based on con-
formality, leads to the definition of slice conformal or slice isothermal pa-
rameterization of Riemann 4-manifold and 8-manifold. These new classes of
manifolds include slice regular quaternionic and octonionic curves, graphs of
slice regular functions, the 4 and 8 dimensional sphere and helicoidal and
catenoidal manifolds.

Jasna - nova sorta ozime uljane repice
Full text linkThe program of winter rapeseed breeding at Institute of Field and Vegetable Crops covers the development of winter and spring rapeseed cultivars and hybrids. Winter rapeseed cultivars are selected for high and stabile grain and oil yield, good oil quality, low erucic acid and glucosinolate content (type 00) and tolerance to stresses caused by abiotic and biotic factors. This paper reviews agronomic characteristics and grain and oil quality of a new cultivar of winter rapeseed Jasna. In the trials of the Serbian Commission for new cultivars registration, cultivar Jasna had higher grain yield then standard, in the three locations and two years. In average the yield was 4566 kg/ha. Oil content is at the level of the standard. The erucic acid content and glucosinolate content are lower then that in the standard and that are positive characteristics. .Program oplemenjivanja uljane repice u Institutu za ratarstvo i povrtarstvo u Novom Sadu obuhvata stvaranje ozimih i jarih sorti, kao i hibrida. Sorte ozime uljane repice treba da imaju visok i stabilan prinos zrna i ulja, dobar kvalitet ulja, da su bez eruka kiseline, niskog sadržaja glukozinolata (tip 00) i da su tolerantne na stres izazvan abiotičkim i biotičkim faktorima. U radu su prikazane agronomske osobine i kvalitet zrna nove sorte ozime uljane repice Jasna, koja je registrovana u Srbiji 2009. godine. U ogledima Komisije za priznavanje sorti, u odnosu na standard, sorta Jasna je imala veći prinos, i u dvogodišnjem ispitivanju na 3 lokaliteta, bio je u proseku 4566 kg/ha. Sadržaj ulja je na nivou standarda. Sadržaj eruka kiseline i glukozinolata su niži od standarda, što su pozitivna svojstva.
