Enitharoides duidaensis (Brooks, 1953) comb. nov. (Figs. 62–63, 66) Enithares Enitharoides duidaensis Brooks, 1953 Brooks (1953): 74 [Description: Venezuela; Holotype deposited in Smithsonian National Museum of Natural History]. Enithares duidaensis Brooks, 1953 Heckman (2011): 503 [Key for species from South America]; Herrera-Millán (2005): 118 [List of species from Venezuela]. This species has not been found after its description and has been recorded only from Venezuela. Specimens of E. duidaensis are shorter (13.0 to 14.0 mm) than those of its congeners. Males of E. duidaensis bear a process at the posterior end of the male genital capsule (Figs. 62–63) (Brooks 1953), which are absent in species occurring in Brazil. There is no information about scutellar punctation and size and shape of the anteapical pointed protuberance of the middle femora. The female is unknown.Published as part of Nessimian, Jorge Luiz, 2017, Resurrecting the genus Enitharoides Brooks, 1953 (Heteroptera: Nepomorpha: Notonectidae): description of three new species and redescription of Enitharoides brasiliensis (Spinola, 1837), comb. nov., pp. 469-486 in Zootaxa 4323 (4) on page 482, DOI: 10.11646/zootaxa.4323.4.2, http://zenodo.org/record/99582

Buenoa exilidens Barbosa, Nessimian, Ferreira-Keppler Fig. 18–20 Buenoa exilidens Barbosa, Nessimian, Ferreira-Keppler, 2010 a: 52 [Type locality: Brazil, State of Amazonas, Barcelos Municipality, Serra do Aracá, base, Igarapé da Anta; Types in Instituto Nacional de Pesquisas da Amazônia (Brazil)]. Comments. Buenoa exilidens is similar, in general appearance, to B. platycnemis (Fieber, 1851) with its dark brown color and rostral prong originating laterally on the distal region of the third rostral segment, and distinctly longer than this segment. According to Barbosa et al. (2010 a), B. exilidens differs from the first species by its rostral prong being thinner (Fig. 18, 43); the pronotum not tricarinate; the apex of the fore femur a little narrower (Fig. 19, 44); the stridulatory area with four to seven irregular ridges; and the claspers distinct (Fig. 20, 45). The pronotum of Buenoa platycnemis is distinctly tricarinate, and the stridulatory area has 11 to 14 well-marked ridges. The rostral prong of B. exilidens is similar to that of B. tumaquensis Padilla-Gil, 2010, a species that occurs in Colombia. Buenoa exilidens, however, lacks the parallel striae perpendicular to the stridulatory comb of the fore femur, with fewer ridges, and less teeth on the stridulatory comb of the fore tibia than in B. tumaquensis.
