No full textJennifer (''JJ'') Jones (B.A. 1993, M.L.A. 1999) was interviewed by Tara DeChellis in the Texana Room at Southern Methodist University on April 27, 2018. The interview was recorded by Jill Kelly, who also asked questions in the interview. In her interview, Jones discusses her time as a student at SMU, where she majored in sociology and obtained a Master's of Liberal Arts. She talks about her family's hardships that prevented her from going to college right away. Jones was a member of the Zeta Phi Beta sorority, as well as many other organizations on campus. She talks about her time in her sorority and what it meant to her. She shares her personal stories from her time in Zeta and how it led her to continuing her career at SMU. She talks about her current position, at the time of the interview, as Executive Director of Student Affairs, and elaborates on why this job is so important to her and how it relates to what she previously learned as an SMU student
