<i>Dryptus jubeus</i> (Fulton, 1908) <p>(Figs 3 A–B)</p> <p> <i>Strophocheilus</i> (<i>Dryptus</i>) <i>jubeus</i> Fulton 1908: 86, text fig. Type locality: Venezuela, Capas. Holotype BMNH 1905.5.3.1. <i>Dryptus jubens</i> [sic] (Fulton); Richardson 1995: 200 (references).</p> <p> <b>Material.</b> Venezuela, Mérida, Capas [Capaz]: USNM 603094 (paratype); mountains La Paz [misspelling for Capaz?], 2000 m, A. Gabaldon leg.: USNM 109534; Torondoy mountains, 1600 m, Gabaldon leg.: USNM 109535. <b>Altitudinal range.</b> The localities reported here range from 1600–2000m.</p> <p> <b>Remarks.</b> The type material of both <i>D. jubeus</i> and <i>D. guerini</i> show some differences, viz. <i>D. jubeus</i> has (1) a more pointed spire; (2) a broader, whitish parietal callus; and (3) a pinkish lip.
