THE ANALYSIS OF THE CORRELATION BETWEEN THE LEVEL OF THE BANK FEES FOR CARDS AND THE NUMBER OF ACTIVE CARDS, CONDUCTED WITH THE HELP OF THE „PEARSON†COEFFICIENT
The evolution of human society in all areas, and especially the economic field, required the banking offer to adapt to new requirements, which called for the modernization andthe development of the services provided by the bank to its customers, but also becoming close tothem. The goal we set with this article is to examine in terms of methodology the correlation between thenumber of active cards and the fees level with PEARSON coefficient. It is study the level of feespracticed by Raiffeisen Bank is/ is not greatly influenced (depend or doesn’t depend) by the numberof active cards, meaning there are other factors influencing the fees levels.transactions, active cards, cards, Pearson coefficient.
Analysis of Financial Intermediation in Romania

At thesame time it comprises an analysis of the three indicators which show the degree of financialintermediation in Romania: credits/GDP; deposits/GDP; bank assets/GDP for the period 2004-2015. We want to study the relation between the three indicators that define financialintermediation with the help of the correlation coefficient

This paper aims to analyze the attracted depositsand the loans granted by BRD - Groupe Societe Generale in relation to the Romanianbanking system, as well as analyze the evolution of deposits and loans in terms of the interestrate for the whole banking system with the help of the Pearson‘s correlation coefficient for theperiod 2006-2010.banking system; analyze; deposits; loans; correlation coefficient.
ANALYSIS ON THE ROMANIAN BANKING LEGISLATION AND THE BANKS PROBABILITY OF DEFAULT
This paper examining the perception on the judicial system and the lawenforcement associated to the banks’ probability to default. Credit institutions mustcontinuously update and undertake a satisfactory legal analysis, which is to confirm thepossibility of signing collateral contracts in all relevant jurisdictions. FINANCING INSTRUMENTS USED IN THE CENTRE DEVELOPMENT REGION
The paper presents the main financing instruments (projects) used in the Centre Region, approaching aspects regarding the Centre Development Region, such as its features in terms of the geographical profile of employment. In regard to the involvement of the population to the economic life, statistics show relatively low values of the overall activity and employment rates recorded primarily in the rural area. If we consider only the population included in the age group 15 to 64, the active population represent 62.2% of total, and the employment rate is 56.3% of the total active population, both declining in the last 15-20 years. At regional level, in order to implement the regional development policy in accordance with Law no. 315/2004 on regional development in Romania, two institutions are functioning: Regional Development Board and "Centru" Regional Development Agency. The paper also presents the use dynamics of funds in the Centre Region. Starting with 2007, "Centru" Regional Development Agency has become an intermediary body within ROP 2007-2013 with the role of promoting and managing the funds allocated to this region. In regard to the stage of implementation of ROP in the Centre Region, starting with February 25th, 2011, all 12 key areas of intervention of the programme were launched and a number of 1.053 projects were submitted in the Centre Region for a total amount of 1.033,99 million euro, the paper showing a diagram of the submitted projects. There is also a diagram of the amounts requested for funding the projects submitted until February 25th, 2011 at the Centru RDA and the available financing budgets on priority axes. Until February 25th, 2011, a number of 174 projects were contracted under ROP for a total value of 1.549.430.419,97 lei. In the end, we review the main indicators of the contracted projects. They belong to rural development, transport infrastructure, social infrastructure, regional and local business environment, tourism development and promotion.Centre Region, labour force, project, indicators, structural funds
Śledzenie czynników wpływających na ewoluację pracowników banku
The present paper analyses the factors that influence the number of employees in the banking system. The aim of our research was to determine the influence of bank profitability (ROA), the number of branches and the number of ATM machines per 100.000 adults on evolution of the number of employees in the Central and Est European banking system (11 countries) and compare with Romanian banking system. It was used a model that refers to a multidimensional data collected for a period (Panel Data Regression) for eleven countries analyzed. For the analysis of the Romanian indicators, the multiple linear regression model was used. The analysis shows that both the Romanian model and the model performed on the 11 countries (panel data) registered a positive and direct relationship between number of banking units (BRANCHES) and number of bank employees, and an inverse correlation between number of ATM machines per 100,000 adults and number of bank employeesNiniejszy artykuł analizuje czynniki wpływające na liczbę pracowników w systemie bankowym.
THE INFLUENCE OF CORPORATE SOCIAL RESPONSIBILITY DISCLOSURE ON BANK PROFITABILITY
Nowadays, the society expects economic performance from companies, but also a social commitment. Our observations will offer to the banks a perspective on the degree of their CSR Disclosure and will help the central bank to develop a corporate sustainability framework and guidelines for the improvement of the transparency and the reduction of the informational asymmetry. The objective of our work is to explore the amplitude of the information on CSR from the annual reports and the reports of the Administrative Councils of the banks, and also to examine the impact of the CSR Disclosure on the bank performance. The study uses an econometric model to analyse the effect of the CSR Disclosure on the profitability of the Romanian banks. Related to the banking field of activity, a specific feature in the behaviour of the customer was observed. The customers are more involved, analysing attentively the information and also have the tendency to establish a long-term relation with the financial institution
STUDY OF CORRELATION BETWEEN AVERAGE INTEREST RATE AND NON-PERFORMING LOANS IN THE ROMANIAN BANKING SYSTEM DURING 2006- FEBRUARY 2010
This paper aims to examine the correlation between average interest rate and non-performing loans in the Romanian banking system during 2006-February 2010. We based our approach on the Pearson correlation coefficient and we realized an empirical study, which demonstrates how these relevant banking elements are connected. Also, the result of this research suggests that there are other indirect channels which affect the non-performing loans.Pearson correlation coeficient, Non-performing loans, Average interest rate, Credit-risk provisions
