No full textTelevision is a strategic mass media that can be used to disseminate discourses by various social and political groups that are displayed therein through news and broadcast programs.In 2019 the Talkshow program that has a high rating according to the KPI survey is the Kick Andy program broadcast by Metro TV. It became interesting when Kick Andy invited a murder convict named John Refra alias John Kei as a resource. The research objective was to determine the text structure, social cognition, and social context of John Kei's episode from behind Nusakambangan prison. The method used is descriptive qualitative with Teun Van Dijk's model critical discourse analysis approach. the data was collected by means of observation, interviews and documentation on the episode of John Kei's Confession from Behind Nusakambangan. The results of the research on the text element indicate that the theme is inspired by an inspirational story and things are not known to the wider community about the figure of John Kei. the social cognition, the results show that Kick Andy wants to convey a message to the public not to stigmatize and discriminate former inmates. the social context, this episode was produced by the Directorate General of Corrections, which contained a message calling for John Kei from inside prison to his men and friends to change and repent.Televisi merupakan media massa strategis yang dapat digunakan untuk menyebar-kan wacana oleh berbagai kelompok sosial dan politik yang ditampilkan didalamnya melalui pemberitaan maupun program acara yang disiarkan. Pada tahun 2019 pro-gram acara Talkshow yang memiliki rating tinggi menurut survei KPI adalah pro-gram acara Kick Andy yang ditayangkan oleh Metro TV. Menjadi menarik ketika Kick Andy mengundang seorang narapidana kasus pembunuhan bernama John Refra alias John Kei sebagai narasumber. Tujuan penelitian untuk mengetahui struktur teks, kognisi sosial, dan kontek sosial episode Jhohn Kei dari balik penjara nusa-kambangan. Metode digunakan adalah deskriptif kualitatif dengan pendekatan ana-lisis wacana kritis model Teun Van Dijk. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan cara observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi pada tayangan episode Pengakuan John Kei dari Balik Nusakambangan Hasil Penelitian pada elemen teks menunjukkan bahwa tema diangkat cerita inspiratif dan hal-hal tidak diketahui masyarakat luas mengenai sosok John Kei. Pada kognisi sosial didapatkan hasil bahwa Kick Andy ingin menyampaikan pesan kepada masyarakat untuk tidak melakukan stigma dan diskriminasi kepada para mantan narapidana. Sedangkan dalam konteks sosial, epi-sode ini diproduksi Direktorat Jenderal Pemasyarakatan yang berisi pesan himbauan John Kei dari dalam penjara kepada anak buah dan teman-temannya un-tuk berubah dan bertaubat

No full textKebakaran hutan dan lahan merupakan bencana yang terjadi hampir setiap tahun di Indonesia, terutama di Provinsi Riau. Upaya dan solusi terus dilakukan oleh pemerintah guna mencegah kebakaran hutan dan lahan melalui gerakan “2020 Riau Bebas Karhutla”. Penelitian ini membahas framing pemberitaan kebakaran hutan dan lahan di Riau pada media online lokal Tribunpekanbaru.com dan GoRiau.com periode Januari-Februari 2020 dengan menggunakan analisis framing model Robert N. Entman. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kebakaran hutan dan lahan di Riau dibingkai secara berbeda. Media online Tribunpekanbaru.com membingkai kasus-kasus kebakaran hutan dan lahan yang terjadi di Riau dan mengungkapkan tersangka pembakaran hutan dan lahan. Sementara itu, media online GoRiau.com menghadirkan kerangka yang berbeda, media ini lebih menonjolkan sisi humanis pemerintah dalam upaya mengatasi bencana kebakaran hutan dan lahan. Perbedaan dalam segi penulisan berita dimotivasi oleh perbedaan dalam perspektif masing-masing media untuk menarik minat pembacanya. Dalam hal ini terlihat dari bagaimana jurnalis menulis berita yang disusun berdasarkan elemen Entman yaitu identifikasi masalah, diagnosa kasus, penilaian moral, dan solusi yang ditawarkan

No full textDatariau.com merupakan salah satu media online erada di Pekanbaru yang berdiri sejak 20 Agustus 2012. Meskipun telah terverifikasi oleh Dewan Pers, masih terdapat ketidaksesuaian penulisan bahasa jurnalistik yang ditemukan di situs Datariau.com. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui bagaimana penerapan bahasa jurnalistik di portal berita kategori Hukum Kriminal Datariau.com. Penelitian ini menggunakan teori pers tanggung jawab sosial. Pendekatan yang digunakan adalah kualitatif dengan metode deskriptif analisis. Informan dalam penelitian ini redaktur pelaksana, pimpinan redaksi dan wartawan Datariau.com. Sedangkan objek penelitiannya adalah berita kategori hukum kriminal dalam portal berita Datariau.com. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan yakni observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Lokasi penelitian berada di kantor redaksi Datariau.com. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penerapan bahasa jurnalistik di portal berita kategori hukum kriminal Datariau.com masih terdapat 65 ketidaksesuaian penulisan bahasa jurnalistik dan terdapat ketidaksesuaian 4 dari 5 ciri bahasa jurnalistik yaitu kata mubazir.

Bibliometric Analysis of the Radio Da'wah Research
No full textThis research aims to understand the research trends in radio da'wah, identify relationships between scientific concepts, and determine the radio da'wah science network based on keywords and author collaboration. The method used in this research is descriptive bibliometric analysis, and the data used was taken from 2013-2023. Data was collected from the Scopus and Google Scholar databases with the keyword da'wah radio. Data collection was carried out using Publish or Perish software as metadata. Data analysis was carried out using Vosviewer software as a bibliometric analysis medium. The research results show that da'wah radio publications experience fluctuating development, with Scopus publications being very low. Meanwhile, publications in nationally accredited journals and national journals have increased significantly. From the visualization Vosviewer, it can be seen that Islamic institutions or universities dominate research on radio da'wah

No full textNews value is one of the compulsory components in news, be it print media (newspapers, tabloids), electronic media (television, radio) or online media. PT. Citra Media Bertuah or Bertuahpos.com is one of the online media in Pekanbaru that focuses on business news as much as 75%. Bertuahpos.com is also one of 300 online media in Riau which has been verified as actual and factual by the Press Council. In its implementation there are still some news which according to the author is not comprehensive because it does not contain news value properly. This research method is a qualitative descriptive analysis. In this study the authors searched through documentation in the form of theoretical data from books, document data in the form of formal notes, news portal bertuahpos.com related to the discussion of this thesis, internet and so on with regard to the title. Observations were also made to the Bertuahpos office to meet references regarding supporting data in completing this thesis. The results of this study indicate that Bertuahpos has applied news values greatly. Of the 23 news stories that the author studied, there are at least 7 news values that have been applied by Bertuahpos from 8 news values from Hariris, Leiter and Johnson which are indicators of the author's research. No full textThis study aims to analyze the media framing of Detik.com and Kompas.com regarding the Kanjuruhan football riot tragedy in Malang at the end of 2022, with a focus on identifying the framing and media ideologies reflected in online reporting. The research employs the approach of the theory of social reality construction, with data collection through observation, documentation, and a literature review of 20 news articles covering the period from October 2 to October 14, 2022. The research findings reveal that Detik.com emphasizes framing news around the victims, attempting to convey empathy for them, and its reporting tends to be brief and less in-depth. On the other hand, Kompas.com is more oriented toward the development of events and problem resolution, with more informative and comprehensive reporting. The media ideology of Detik.com is more pronounced in its focus on the perspectives of the victims and the quantity of reporting, whereas Kompas.com emphasizes the development of issues and the government\u27s role in resolving the case, with reporting focused on facts and data
Kebijakan Pemerintah Indonesia dalam Menangani Kasus Eksploitasi Seksual Komersial Anak di Indonesia
No full textPenelitian ini dilatarbelakangi karena adanya perkembangan dunia yang semakin modern dan kemudahan untuk melakukan transportasi ke seluruh dunia yang mengakibatkan kasus eksploitasi seksual komersial anak (ESKA) menjadi semakin kompleks. Tingginya kasus ESKA di Indonesia mendorong pemerintah Indonesia untuk lebih berfokus kepada pengembangan kebijakan dan program terkait dengan eksploitasi seksual anak. Untuk memaksimalkan kebijakannya, pemerintah Indonesia bekerja sama dengan berbagai pihak terkait baik dengan sesama lembaga pemerintah maupun non pemerintah, salah satunya yaitu ECPAT. ECPAT merupakan organisasi internasional yang bertujuan untuk menangani dan menghapus segala bentuk eksploitasi seksual terhadap anak. Penelitian menggunakan teori peran Organisasi Internasional dan metode penelitian kualitatif dengan teknik penelitian kepustakaan, yaitu data sekunder diperoleh melalui studi pustaka, data-data didapatkan dari berbagai literatur seperti buku, jurnal, buletin, surat kabar, laporan tahunan beberapa instansi terkait, dokumen, atau bahan lainnya yang mendukung penelitian. Dalam pelaksanaan kebijakannya, pemerintah Indonesia dan ECPAT bekerja sama dengan pihak-pihak yang berkaitan dalam pelaksanaan perlawanan eksploitasi seksual anak lainnya seperti organisasi masyarakat, private sector, akademisi, dan badan internasional. Adapun kebijakan serta program yang telah dilakukan pemerintah Indonesia dengan ECPAT di Indonesia yaitu melaksanakan riset atau pengumpulan data-data terkait eksploitasi anak, advokasi kepada pihak terkait, pelatihan dengan lembaga terkait untuk agar lebih siap menangani permasalahan eksploitasi seksual anak, dan sosialisasi seperti kampanye, workshop, atau edukasi melalui daring. Melalui aksi-aksi yang telah dilakukan tersebut dihasilkanlah beberapa pencapaian seperti melakukan riset untuk mendata kasus ESKA di Indonesia, seperti membuat modul berisi cara pencegahan ESKA, membimbing dan mengajak private sector agar bekerja sama dan mau ikut memperhatikan perlindungan hak-hak anak, serta aktif memberikan edukasi dan kampanye baik di media sosial maupun secara langsung

No full textVillage as a government that directly related to the community is the main focus in government development, because most of Indonesia's territory is in the countryside. Therefore, in village development it needs to be directed at the realization of an "independent village". In order to encourage and awaken the ability of the community, especially rural communities, many programs have been made by the government. One of them is through empowering rural communities by involving the community and elements of government that have more reactive development policies that give priority to the needs of village communities in budget allocation so that they are able to exploit the potential of their respective regions. This study aims to determine: 1) community participation in the implementation of Musrenbang Desa in Titian Modang Kopah Village, Kuantan Tengah District, Kuantan Singingi District; and 2) know the obstacles. Meanwhile, the research method used is qualitative research with a descriptive approach, and data collection techniques through interviews, observation and documentation. The results of this study concluded that: 1) The level of community participation in the Musrenbangdes was very lacking, so the Musrenbangdes implementation activities in Titian Modang Kopah Village were only a formality; and 2) The obstacle in the implementation of the Musrenbangdes in Titian Modang Kopah Village is the difficulty in making decisions regarding the prioritized program which has not been realized, the community is less able to express their aspirations because they still have weak analytical power to the development needs due to weak resource factors the community and the lack of synergy between the various development funding sources owned by Titian Modang Kopah Village. As a consequence of these obstacles, many government programs are not based on the potentials and uniqueness of the Region, causing many potential in Titian Modang Kopah is ineffective

No full textThe registration for the 2024 presidential candidates began at the end of 2023, but the euphoria of the 2024 presidential candidates began to be felt since the beginning of 2022. Several survey institutions issued public opinions regarding several 2024 presidential candidates. Public opinion about the 2024 presidential candidates cannot only be obtained through direct interviews. Public opinion acquisition can also be done through social media such as Twitter. Therefore this research has the aim of studying communication networks and determining actors who hold influence in the #Prabowo and #anies baswedan network on Twitter social media. This study uses the Social Network Analysis (SNA) research method or social network analysis with the theory of Computer Mediated Communication. The results of this study show that #Prabowo's information spreads quickly and easily on Twitter. Based on data collected from 2,500 actors, there are a total of 682 interactions between actors in the #Prabowo network. The results of #anies baswedan show that this communication network has a relationship typetwo mode and the network is direct and has the direction of the main actor, namely #anies baswedan with valuedegree centrality 766 and the relationship between actors in this communication network is very close
Transformation of Radio Technology in The Digital Age
No full textRadio transformation is a step to maintain existence. Innovation and adjustment to the rapid development of new media and exacerbated by the Covid-19 virus pandemic requires radio to transform into the digital era. This article aims to see the existence of RRI in transforming radio media in the digital era and Covid-19. The change of radio to the digital era is a demand in facing the challenges of progress and growth of information. This research uses descriptive qualitative method. The results show that the segmentation of radio listeners in the small category is caused by listeners who prefer and seek social media information. RRI’s strategy to uphold its existence in the digital era is to update technology and cooperation. The transformation carried out during the Covid-19 response period gave rise to an increased character for the information that was broadcast.Keywords: Transformation, technology, digital, Covid-19 ABSTRAKTransformasi radio menjadi langkah untuk mempertahankan eksistensi. Inovasi dan penyesuaian dengan perkembangan media baru yang pesat serta diperparah dengan pandemi virus Covid-19 mengaharuskan radio melakukan transformasi ke era digital. Artikel ini bertujuan untuk melihat eksistensi RRI dalam melakukan transformasi media radio di era digital dan Covid-19. Perubahan radio ke era digital merupakan tuntutan dalam menghadapi tantangan kemajuan dan pertumbuhan informasi. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif deskriptif. Hasil menunjukkan bahwa segmentasi pendengar radio kategori kecil diakibatkan faktor pendengar yang lebih menyukai dan mencari mencari informasi sosial media. Strategi RRI menegakkan eksistensi di era digital, adalah memperbeharui teknologi dan kerjasama.
