Identifying Significance of Product Features on Customer Satisfaction Recognizing Public Sentiment Polarity: Analysis of Smart Phone Industry Using Machine-Learning Approaches
The reality about human behavior is that how other people think and evaluate, and have strong influences on our beliefs and thinking. Consumers get rich information from online reviews that may reduce their uncertainty regarding purchases. Besides, product-developing companies analyze user demands from online reviews to design market-driven product. In this study, a comparison among five major market share holder smart phone brands - Samsung, Apple, Huawei, Xiaomi, and Oppo is performed in different price categories - high, mid, and low range, based on sentiment polarity score. Online public reviews are extracted and sentiment scores of reviews are calculated to construct public sentiment polarity toward the famous brands. By examining both quantitative and qualitative methodologies, we identified the most important smart phone features or attributes that have great significance on consumer satisfaction. By experimenting and comparing five efficient machine-learning algorithms in predicting sentiment polarity and three feature selection algorithms in reducing attributes, an optimal set of 21 smart phone attributes was found those play major roles in determining customer satisfaction.No Full Tex
Recurrent Neural Network Encoding Decoding Translator based Prediction Protein Function and Functional Annotation
Protein sequences are symbols generally different characters representing the 20 amino acids used in human proteins those sequences can range from the very sort to the very long. There are many proteins database for the sequences are known but the function and functional annotation is not. Protein function prediction (PFP) as well as functional annotation (FA) from its structure or sequence is a major field of bioinformatics at the same time how to judge how well perform these algorithms. We proposed the novel method that converts the protein function problem into a language translation problem by a new proposed protein sequence language encoded to the protein function language decoded and build a recurrent neural machine encoding decoding translator (RNNEDT) based on the recurrent neural networks model. The excellent acting on training, testing datasets exhibits the proposed system as an improving direction for PFP. Analysis of the Spiritual Experience of Performing Umrah for Converts to Islam (Phenomenological Study in Muallaf Kita Bersama Semarang City)
The spiritual experience experienced by converts in performing Umrah is certainly different from the spiritual experience experienced by Muslims who were born and raised in an Islamic environment. The spiritual experience of converts is more complex and dynamic, because it is influenced by various factors, such as background, motivation, expectations, and the challenges they face. This spiritual experience was studied using a phenomenological approach. The subjects of this study were 5 converts who had performed Umrah in the MKB community. The method and data collection tools in this research are interviews. And for the results of interviews and observations described in descriptive form. According to the results of data analysis that has been carried out in the results and discussion, the author can draw conclusions, namely: Converts who perform Umrah have aspects of spiritual experience described by William James, namely aspects of ineffability expressed through feelings of amazement and difficult to explain by words when arriving at the Kabah area and kissing Hajar Aswad, aspects of noetic quality expressed through feelings such as there are supernatural worshipers who help to kiss Hajar Aswad, The transiency aspect is expressed through feelings of anxiety and suddenly crying when reminded of the sins that have been committed, and the passivity aspect is expressed through focusing only on Allah SWT by dhikr and asking for forgiveness

Nieuwe digitale technieken bieden kansen om slimmer samen te werken en gegevens uit te wisselen voor het mkb. Blockchain technologie wordt daarbij genoemd als een van de meest kansrijke opkomende technologieën. Vanuit de Hogeschool Rotterdam en de Hogeschool Windesheim wordt onderzoek gedaan naar de kansen voor het mkb in het toepassen van de blockchain technologie. Het onderzoek richt zich met name op het mkb in de logistieke, agro-food en farma-sector. De mogelijkheden die blockchain-oplossingen bieden zijn veelbelovend. In het onderzoek zijn de belangrijkste vragen hierover: Welke invloed heeft de toepassing van blockchain op de toegevoegde waarde van de organisatie en op de machtsverhoudingen in de logistieke keten? Welke invloed heeft het op de stroom van goederen, informatie en transport? Het doel van het onderzoek is het komen tot een business-scan op basis waarvan een organisatie kan inschatten welke toegevoegde waarde de blockchain technologie kan hebben. Comparative analysis the performance of AODV, DSDV and DSR routing protocols in wireless sensor network
In this paper, we have analysed the comparative performance of AODV, DSDV and DSR routing protocols in different wireless sensor network scenarios (i.e. scenarios where number of nodes changes or mobility of nodes changes). The performance matrix includes Packet Delivery Ratio, Throughput, End to End Delay, and Normalized Routing Load. We mainly try to address the behaviour of the protocols in different scenarios. Simulation results show that different routing protocol performs well in different scenarios and good for specific performance metrics. For example, DSDV perform better in the high density networks or the network with strict requirement on time whereas DSR performs well in smaller network. AODV is more adaptable in the networks with high throughputs and preferable for low loss rate environment. © 2012 IEEE.No Full Tex

In de uitvoering van het onderzoek is behoefte aan een theoretische basis voor zo een business scan. Hiertoe is een literatuurstudie verricht op basis waarvan een eerste selectie is gedaan voor modellen en methoden in deze business scan. In deze literatuurstudie is gekozen voor een top-downbenadering. Eerst wordt vanuit strategisch perspectief gekeken naar de toegevoegde waarde om vervolgens vast te kunnen stellen welke machtsverhoudingen en kritische processen aanwezig zijn. Deze kritische processen kunnen dan nader bevraagd worden omwille van de toepasbaarheid van blockchain. Ten eerste zijn begrippen, zoals toegevoegde waarde, machtsverhoudingen en invloed op goederen-, geld- en informatiestromen gedefinieerd. Bij de definities wordt rekening gehouden met de strategische, tactische en operationele doelen van bedrijven. Het begrippenkader levert aanvullende vragen op waarmee richting gegeven wordt aan een selectie van methoden en modellen voor de business scan. Ten tweede zijn passende modellen en methoden geselecteerd. De aanvullende vragen die de literatuurstudie heeft opgeleverd, leggen een basis voor het effectief toepassen van de modellen en methoden in de business scan. Deze versie van de business scan is gericht op de genoemde mkb-organisaties die nog onvoldoende kennis hebben van mogelijke toepassingen van blockchaintechnologie. A comparative analysis of band selection techniques for hyperspectral image classification
Finding an optimal subspace of bands that has the most expressive power for classifying hyperspectral image has been very challenging task due to its insufficient number of training pixels with respect to large number of bands. Feature reduction is considered a promising solution in this type of task. However, it is very hard to select an optimal feature reduction technique which is effective as well as computationally efficient in case of hyperspectral image classification. Moreover, it becomes challenging when the number of training pixels of a class is not sufficient. In this paper, we have rigorously studied some feature selection techniques for reducing spectral dimension by considering all the classes in hyperspectral image on a benchmark data set. Bioinformatics approach to analyze gene expression profile and comorbidities of gastric cancer
Gastric cancer is a cancer in which malignant cell develops in the inner lining of stomach. The mortality risk of gastric cancer increases when several related diseases arise with it as comorbidity. Nowadays, the severities of gastric cancer and its comorbidity is a global health concern. To deal with this issue we implemented a standard analytical approach to identify the genetic profiling of gastric cancer and its comorbidities. For analyzing the genetic profile we used the mRNA-seq and gene expression microarray data from gastric cancer, diabetes, liver cancer, stroke, kidney disease infected tissues and control datasets. We constructed gene disease relationship networks, analyzed pathways, ontologies, protein-protein interaction network of the differentially expressed genes employing neighborhood base benchmarking and multilayer network topology, and finally, we validated our work using two gold benchmark databases (OMIM and dbGAP). We observed that gastric cancer shared 29, 29, 51, and 65 differentially expressed genes with diabetes, liver cancer, stroke, and kidney disease respectively. After analyzing gene expressions, pathways, ontologies and protein-protein interactions, it can be said that there is an association of gastric cancer with diabetes, liver cancer, stroke and kidney disease as comorbidities. This study may be helpful to identify the accurate comorbidities and it can raise awareness about the threatening consequences of gastric cancer among the peoples.No Full Tex
“MAARAK KITAB BUKHARI” TRADITION IN BANJAR COMMUNITY
This study reviews the local wisdom and harmony in the tradition Maarak Book of Bukhari (MKB) in Banjar community. This study uses religious anthropological approaches to explore various ideas and understanding of the research object. The results showed that this tradition is motivated by environmental condition of Banjar which is prone to fire, so as part of a tradition of starting reinforcements. It is carried out when people have seen some signs or warnings and dealt with specific situations. This tradition is done at night during dry season when fires frequently happened, with the aim of counteracting the danger of fire and for safety. In this tradition, the procession made certain that is believed to be a sort of intermediary or the cause so that it prevents from the fire. Starting with the implementation of the sunnat prayers, then reading the sura Yasin, paraded the holy book around the village, recite the lines of Burdah, reading segue Kamilah, and closed with praying for salvation. The description of religious valuesand propaganda contained in this tradition is strong evidence of the ability of the scholars earlier to acculturate the understanding and behavior of Banjar society before the arrival of Islam. MKB is one of the traditions that reflect the meeting between Islam and local culture.
Penelitian ini mengkaji tentang kearifan lokal dan harmoni yang terdeskripsi dalam tradisi Maarak Kitab Bukhari pada masyarakat Banjar. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan antropologis keagamaan untuk menggali berbagai pemikiran dan pemahaman masyarakat terhadap objek penelitian. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa tradisi Maarak Kitab Bukhari dilatarbelakangi oleh kondisi lingkungan masyarakat Banjar yang rawan terjadi kebakaran, sehingga sebagai bagian dari tradisi tolak bala, MKB dilaksanakan ketika masyarakat telah melihat sejumlah tanda (mendapat peringatan) dan berhadapan dan situasi tertentu. Tradisi ini dilakukan pada malam hari, ketika musim kemarau, seringnya terjadi kebakaran dengan tujuan menangkal bahaya kebakaran dan memohon keselematan. Dalam tradisi ini, dilakukan prosesi tertentu yang diyakini bisa menjadi semacam perantara (wasilah) atau berkat (penyebab), sehingga kebakaran tidak terjadi. Dimulai dengan pelaksanaan shalat sunnat hajat, diteruskan dengan membaca surah Yaasin, mengarak keliling kampung kitab Shahih Bukhari, melantunkan syair-syair Burdah, membaca Shalawat Kamilah, dan ditutup dengan pembacaan doa tolak bala serta doa keselamatan. Deskripsi nilai keagamaan dan dakwah yang terkandung dalam tradisi Maarak Kitab Bukhari merupakan bukti kuat kemampuan para ulama terdahulu dalam mengakulturasi paham dan prilaku masyarakat Banjar sebelum kedatangan Islam. Sehingga, apabila semula simbol, benda, dan nilai-nilai dalam tradisi tolak bala sarat dengan keyakinan terdahulu, begitu Islam masuk dan berkembang, tradisi tersebut telah bersandarkan dan sarat dengan nilai-nilai keIslaman dan bertransformasi menjadi tradisi Maarak Kitab Bukhari. predML-Site: Predicting Multiple Lysine PTM Sites with Optimal Feature Representation and Data Imbalance Minimization
Identification of post-translational modifications (PTM) is significant in the study of computational proteomics, cell biology, pathogenesis, and drug development due to its role in many bio-molecular mechanisms. Computational methods for predicting multiple PTM at the same lysine residues, often referred to as K-PTM, is still evolving. This paper presents a novel computational tool, abbreviated as predML-Site, for predicting K-PTM, such as acetylation, crotonylation, methylation, succinylation from an uncategorized peptide sample involving single, multiple, or no modification. For informative feature representation, multiple sequence encoding schemes, such as the sequence-coupling, binary encoding, k-spaced amino acid pairs, amino acid factor have been used with ANOVA and incremental feature selection. As a core predictor, a cost-sensitive SVM classifier has been adopted which effectively mitigates the effect of class-label imbalance in the dataset. predML-Site predicts multi-label PTM sites with 84.18% accuracy using the top 91 features. It has also achieved 85.34% aiming and 86.58% coverage rate which are much better than the existing state-of-the-art predictors on the same rigorous validation test. This performance indicates that predML-Site can be used as a supportive tool for further K-PTM study.
