Static Analysis of the Structure Type Tank Thermally
This paper consider finite element analysis for structural analysis of a tank under thermal loadings. Geometric modeling is done in CATIA and for finite element analysis the author used FEA module in Catia. The aim is to determine von Mises stress field, deformed mesh and thermal loadings
Analysis Frequencies of a Vibration-Type Structure Hall
Its main purpose was to identify natural vibration frequencies for a warehouse type structure in order to avoid resonance phenomena of the structure. The analysis is performed using the finite element analysis module of the CATIA system
Mathematical Model of the Strip Rolling Made of the Sinterized Metallic Powders
The minimum-power method has been used to investigate the final ratio soft-layer thickness to tough-layer thickness in bimetals with porous layer rolling. The velocity fields has been determined and the total deformation power has been calculated: the rolling force and roll torque have alsobeen estimated, using the energy method
Computer Vision System for Detection of Passenger Sleeping State for Advanced Driver Assistance Systems
The goal of this research is to develop an in-vehicle computerized system able to warn the driver, to assess the passenger’s state of sleeping in order to avoid affecting the driver psychologically and induce drowsiness. This new feature proposed for Advanced Driver Assistance System might increase car safety by mitigation or avoidance of accidents
Calibration and Reference Blocks Used in Nondestructive Ultrasound Examination, According to New European Union Requirements
Pursuant international standards such of the European ones, the nondestructive examinations have to be worked out by the most possible accuracy and repeatability, that allow the difference making between the admitted indications, whatever they involve, dump or rejection.
The activity may be carried out with positive results, only, after providing:
- suitable tests and settlements of assay equipment by the agency of calibration and reference blocks;
- insurance for good training of working staff.
With the view of touch of this challenge the CALIST framework program was made
Computer Vision Algorithm for Collision Detection in Case of Industrial Environment
This paper presents a computer vision algorithm for achieving fast collision detection. This paper presents a solution for a highly adaptable solution. The acquired depth images are used to calculate a possible collision with industrial machines. Using a robot model and marked cells on the floor any robot cinematic configurations can be checked for collisions with human detected in the workspace. The proposed approach is applicable to a variety of industrial applications where operators are under threat of accidents.</jats:p
Modelling of the Flow and Deformation Fields at the Profiles Rolling by Field Lines Method
This paper presents a method for modeling of the rolling process based at the deformable continuous medium mechanics, the theory of field lines. The rolling of the profiles and plates may be evaluated as the plane strain state process. Using the equations of the continuous medium and the initial conditions and the limits conditions we solved the speed field, the strain rate field, the strain field. Applying an adequate computation program we obtained the values of the field factors of modeling process. The results are showed into this paper

Stratégies de traduction dans le contexte de la communication interculturelle (les présuppositions dans les versions roumaines du roman Les misérables de Victor Hugo)
After an attentive reading of the works dedicated to the study of the
text in translation studies, we propose an analysis which turns to good
account the theoretical assumptions of Christiane Nord, exposed in her work
“Text Analysis in Translation” (1991). The category of presuppositions is a
touchstone for the translators, because it implies a series of skills of cultural,
ideological, aesthetic order. Presuppositions include not only factors and
realities of the source text, but also elements which belong to the biography
of the author, to the aesthetic criteria, of genre or sort, to the topoi of time, to
the ideology, to the political or cultural conditions of time. In this wide
meaning of a word, we can observe that the presuppositions occupy a wide
place in the novel “Les Misérables”, being a proof of the significant
knowledge of the author. We insist on some types of presuppositions and
underline the way the Romanian translators treat them, according to the time
when the translation is made. The comparative method allows to identify the
gains and the losses of the translation with regard to the original or to the
other versions, but also to place sometimes the target text at the same level as
the source text
Changing the working environment by changing people
This thesis focuses on the challenges generated by the technology implementation in the concrete production division of an organisation and how to overcome the implementation barriers. The way that the head management, which represents the engine for change, had chosen to address the change, had a major impact on the result of the technology implementation. The development of the thesis was conducted using an abductive approach and primary data were collected using four semi-structured interviews with people from different departments. Secondary data was collected only from the literature review and the author consider the case study as an approach for the research design. This thesis contributes to Lewin’s Three Steps Change Model, to Fishbone Diagram and Leavitt's Diamond Model, models used for analysing the specific context of the area studied.<br/
