No full text<i>Tribasodites</i> Jeannel, 1960 <p> <i>Tribasodites</i> Jeannel, 1960: 411. Type species: <i>Tribasodites antennalis</i> Jeannel, 1960: 412 (original designation).</p> <p> <b>Diagnosis.</b> See detailed diagnosis in Yin <i>et al.</i> (2015). Head with median longitudinal carinae on vertex, ocular mandibular carinae distinct; pronotum with median and lateral longitudinal sulci, lateral sulci usually carinae at inner margins, with median antebasal impression and lateral antebasal foveae separated by antebasal spines; lateral spines often present on lateral margins; elytra each with three basal foveae; abdomen with tergite IV longer than the next.</p> <p> Members of this genus are distinguished from the allied genus <i>Tribasodes</i> Jeannel, 1958 by the secondary sexual character occur on the head or antennomeres VIII–XI, and the abdominal tergite IV lacking basal depression (Zhao <i>et al.</i> 2010b; Yin <i>et al.</i> 2015).</p>Published as part of <i>Inoue, Shota & Maruyama, Munetoshi, 2020, A new termitophilous species of Tribasodites Jeannel from Taiwan and southern China (Coleoptera: Staphylinidae: Pselaphinae), pp. 417-424 in Zootaxa 4786 (3)</i> on page 418, DOI: 10.11646/zootaxa.4786.3.7, <a href="http://zenodo.org/record/3876962">http://zenodo.org/record/3876962</a>
