No full textBu çalışmada, kiraz ve vişne bitkilerine anaç olarak kullanılan idris tipleri ile çalışılmıştır. Ege Üniversitesi Ziraat Fakültesi Bahçe Bitkileri Bölümüʼnün idris bahçesindeki farklı gelişme kuvvetlerindeki 11 idris tipinin genetik uzaklıkları RAPD moleküler yöntemi ile araştırılmıştır. İdris bitkilerinden ilkbahar başlangıcında yaprak örnekleri toplanmıştır. Örneklere DNA izolasyonu yapılarak RAPD yöntemi ile 32 primer denenmiştir. En düşük genetik uzaklık Tokat 28 ve Tokat 10 (0,2072) arasında bulunmuştur. En yüksek genetik uzaklık ise Tokat 28 ve Afyon 11 (0,8790 ) arasında bulunmuştur. Test edilen primerlerden OPA1, R 20, N 11 ve Q 12ʼde fazla sayıda polimorfik bant elde edilmiştir. Az sayıda polimorfik bant gösterenler ise, H 19, O 10 ve R 15ʼdir

The Early Ottomans in Idris Bitlisi’s Hasht Bihisht
No full textThe Persian historian Idris Bitlisi (d. 1520), composed a massive chronicle of the House of Osman for the Ottoman emperor Bayezid II (d. 1512). Idris was writing his text at the time of the rise of the Safavids in the east and the expansion of the Ottoman Empire in the Balkans. By relying on a chronicle written after the conquest of Constantinople attributed to Ruhi, Idris downplayed the Turkestani origins of the Ottomans and projected onto their “Eastern” origin undesirable traits associated with Turkic ancestry. Instead, Idris recast his masters as the true inheritors of Roman Empire and the true followers of Alexander the Great. To accomplish all this, Idris drew on biblical, Koranic, and other myths to create a myth for the state separate from a dynastic origin myth.</p

No full textThese two volumes constitute the second part (nun-taw) of the Syriac-Arabic dictionary of the 10th cent. physician Isho bar Ali (the first half of the dictionary had been published in 1874 by G. Hoffmann). Each Syriac word is defined in Arabic, often with more than one Arabic equivalent; in addition, the author deals not just with individual Syriac words, but in some cases with phrases. Gottheil used 21 manuscripts (from Oxford, London, Paris, Berlin, Leiden, and Rome) for this edition, and he has supplied a thorough critical apparatus; the manuscripts are described in the introduction. While some manuscripts give the Arabic glosses in Syriac characters (i.e. Garshuni), Gottheil has presented them here in Arabic script. These two volumes will be of great interest to Syriac lexicographers and those who study interactions between Syriac and Arabic.Contains an English introduction by Richard J.H. Gotthei

Mayoritas umat Islam di seluruh dunia tidak semua mengerti bahasa Arab, yang menjadikan salah satu faktor alasan yang menghalangi seorang muslim tidak bisa memaknai dan memahami isi kandungan dalam al-Qur'an. Terjemahan al-Qur'an merupakan salah satu opsi bagi yang tidak memahami bahasa Arab, sehingga memudahkan seorang Muslim dalam menggali kandungan hikmah al-Qur’an. Salah satu yang membahas terjemah al-Qur’an adalah kajian terjemah oleh ustadz Muhammad Idris Nasution. Rumusan masalah pada penelitian ini adalah tentang bagaimana metode terjamah al-Qur’an ustadz Muhammad Idris Nasution dan bagaimana respon jama’ah kajian terjemah ustadz Muhammad Idris Nasution. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui metode terjamah al-Qur’an ustadz Muhammad Idris Nasution dan mengetahui respon jama’ah kajian terjemah ustadz Muhammad Idris Nasution.
Terjemah al-Qur’an terbagi dalam dua macam, terjemah Harfiyyah, yaitu memindahkan suatu isi ungkapan dari suatu bahasa ke bahasa yang lain, dengan mempertahankan bentuk dan urutan kata dan susunan kalimat aslinya. Dan terjemah Maknawiyah atau Tafsiriyyah, yaitu mengungkapkan makna/ maksud perkataan atau kalimat dengan menggunakan bahasa lain tanpa terikat dengan mufrodat (kosa kata) dan tartib (susunan kata).
Jenis penelitian yang peneliti pakai adalah jenis penelitian lapangan (field research) dengan menggunakan metode kualitatif, yang mengumpulkan data dengan cara observasi, interview atau wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Sumber data yang digunakan adalah sumber data primer dan sekunder. Metode pengumpul data menggunakan teknk, wawancara, observasi, dokumentasi kemudian dianalisis dengan cara berfikir induktif, teknik keabsahan data, analisis data, triangulasi dan penarikan kesimpulan.
Setelah memperoleh data, maka hasil penelitian menunjukkan metode yang digunakan dalam kajian terjemah ustadz Idris adalah metode Harfiyyah. Hal ini bertujuan membantu jama’ah untuk memahami dasar-dasar struktur terjemahan sebelum beralih ke terjemahan yang lebih sempurna. Setelah jama’ah sudah paham, jama’ah bisa menerjemahkannya dengan menyesuaikan dengan bahasa setempat. Sedangkan respon jama’ah kajian terjemah ustadz Idris merespon positif dengan adanya kajian ini. Karena pengajaran ustadz Idris yang mudah dipahami dan mengerti, khusunya bagi jama’ahnya yang sudah berumur paruh bay
