COMMUNITY EMPOWERMENT TOWARDS GREEN SETTLEMENT IN RT.03 / RW.01 PETUKANGAN UTARA VILLAGE, PESANGGRAHAN SUB-DISTRICT, SOUTH JAKARTA
Dense settlements in urban areas are one of the problems in DKI Jakarta, due to the discrepancy between the area of land and the population. RT.03/RW.01 Petukangan Utara Village Pesanggrahan Sub-district South Jakarta is one of the densest settlements in DKI Jakarta which is located next to Universitas Budi Luhur. Based on SNI 031733-2004, the population density level in RT.03/RW.01 of North Petukangan Village, Pesanggrahan Subdistrict, South Jakarta is included in the category of High Density. This can be seen in the dense residential row with the lack of Green Area. The community develops houses by using the land for building and pavement. This impacts the lack of healthy air circulation by SNI-14-1993-03 about the thermal comfort area of buildings for Indonesians. With thermal comfort that is not by SNI standards, the Community Service activity was made by the Universitas Budi Luhur Architecture Department to increase public knowledge about thermal comfort in homes with limited land. Thermal comfort can be achieved by creating a vertical garden on less land to produce cool air in residences. The activity uses the method of community empowerment so that the community can independently create a vertical garden in their homes and know its benefits as thermal comfort in the building. The results of the activities of the Community Empowerment Towards a Green Settlement on RT.03/RW.01 North Petukangan Village Pesanggrahan sub-district of South Jakarta is such settlements have a vertical garden as a natural air conditioning system. With the vertical garden as a natural air conditioning system, it can reduce the use of energy for artificial air conditioning, so that it saves energy and produces better air quality
DRAINAGE AND LIGHTING SYSTEM DESIGN IN ZODIA PARK, PETUKANGAN UTARA, SOUTH JAKARTA
Zodia Park is one of the city park located in South Jakarta. As a green open space, Zodia Park have some great benefits for community. At now, Zodia Park conditions do not have lighting system that complies with safety standards. The lighting system in this park is still provided by residents independently. Moreover, during heavy rain, the park will be inundated between 20-30 cm. It is because the Zodia Park is located at near inspection river. Thus, in this community service, the team proposes the drainage and lighting system design as a contribution to Forestry Office who maintains the Zodia Park to overcome this problem
DESAIN RENOVASI SISTEM PENERANGAN BUATAN MASJID AL HASANAH, KELURAHAN KREO SELATAN, KECAMATAN LARANGAN, KOTA TANGERANG, BANTEN
ABSTRAKMasjid merupakan tempat yang penting bagi umat islam sebagai wadah untuk melaksanakan ibadah dan kegiatan masyarakat. Namun seiring perkembangan waktu, kondisi masjid akan membutuhkan perbaikan agar seluruh kegiatan ibadah di masjid ini bisa berjalan. Salah satu aspek yang perlu diperhatikan demi menunjang kenyamanan beraktivitas adalah sistem penerangan buatan. Masjid Al Hasanah yang terletak di Gg. Sawo No 27 RT 001 RW 03 Kelurahan Kreo Selatan Kecamatan Larangan Kota Tangerang, Banten merupakan masjid yang aktif diisi oleh peribadatan dan kegiatan masyarakat. Saat ini, sistem penerangan yang terdapat di dalam masjid tersebut masih belum sesuai dengan standar SNI. Oleh karena itu, dalam kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini dirancanglah sebuah desain renovasi sistem penerangan buatan. Hasil yang diperoleh dari kegiatan ini adalah hasil perhitungan titik lampu, desain 3D, serta desain peletakan titik lampu. Design Area Wudhu For Women In Mushalla Nurul Fata In Kelurahan Kamal, Kecamatan Kalideres, Jakarta Barat. Mushalla is a place of worship of Muslims and performs various kinds of other Islamic religious celebrations such as the celebration of "Isra’ Mi'raj ","Maulid of the Prophet Muhammad SAW", performing the Tarawih prayer during the month of Ramadan. Mushalla refers to a special place for the five daily prayers, where the difference between the mosque and the mushalla is that no Friday prayers are performed as obligatory prayers for adult men every Friday afternoon Mushalla Nurul Fata is located in Kamal Village, Kalideres District, West Jakarta. This musholla began the renovation phase in 2019 and has been renovated so that it is now a two-story building, currently, almost 90% of the building has been completed, but for the place of ablution, women have not finished. Based on these conditions, the Architecture Study Program at the University of Budi Luhur organized Community Service activities to create a design for the place of women's ablution Mushalla Nurul Fata. The method of implementing activities uses the Architectural Design Process. REDESIGN AL HASANAH MOSQUE AT LARANGAN SUBDISTRICT, IN KOTA TANGERANG, PROVINCE OF BANTEN
A mosque is a place of worship for Muslims. One of the mosques in Tangerang City is the Al Hasanah Mosque which is located in South Kreo Village, Larangan District, Tangerang City, Banten. Al Hasanah Mosque was built several years ago and continues to be used by the surrounding community. After so many years of being used as a place of worship for the surrounding community, currently, Al Hasanah Mosque is no longer able to accommodate Friday prayers and several other activities due to the lack of mosque facilities. So that in 2022 the Al Hasanah Mosque plans to renovate to increase the capacity of the congregation in carrying out worship activities in the mosque. The renovation is planned by increasing the area of the 1st floor, making the second floor specifically for women, adding mosque facilities in the form of separate male and female bathrooms, and changing the facade of the building according to the modern minimalist concept. Based on these conditions, the Faculty of Engineering, Budi Luhur University held a Community Service activity to design the renovation of the Al Hasanah Mosque. The purpose of the redesign of the Al Hasaah Mosque is that all community worship activities can be carried out in the mosque. The method of implementing the activities uses the Architectural Design Process, following input from the Mosque Prosperity Council and architectural comfort standards. SOCIALIZATION OF THERMAL COMFORT STANDARDS AT SMKN 4 SOUTH TANGERANG
Vocational High School (SMK) is a formal education unit that provides education that prepares students to work in specific fields. Students can continue their vocational education after completing their education at the junior high school level. SMK Negeri 4 South Tangerang is one of the 4th Vocational High Schools in the City of South Tangerang, specializing in Building Modeling and Information Design, Health Services, Animation, and Visual Communication Design. SMKN 4 South Tangerang is located on Jalan Sumatra-Tidore, Jombang Village, Ciputat District, South Tangerang City, Banten Province, with a land area of 4,562 m2. Currently, SMK Negeri 4 South Tangerang uses a natural air circulation system with openings in each class; then, each class uses a fan for artificial air circulation. There are four types of building comfort: thermal comfort, space comfort, and audio comfort. Space comfort is related to the comfort of movement space and relationships between spaces. Meanwhile, thermal comfort is an essential part of building comfort because room temperature influences the feeling of comfort. This is because every human being has sensors on their skin that work when there are hot or cold temperatures. Thermal comfort conditions that comply with standards will help the teaching and learning process be streamlined at SMK Negeri 4 South Tangerang. So that SMK Negeri 4 South Tangerang has thermal comfort that meets standards, Budi Luhur University organizes Community Service activities to socialize the achievement of thermal comfort at SMK Negeri 4 South Tangerang. The method of implementing activities uses the concept of Problem Solving. At the same time, the Problem-Solving concept uses input stages, problem-solving processes, and output. The aim of socializing the achievement of thermal comfort is so that the management of SMK Negeri 4 South Tangerang knows how to achieve thermal comfort standards so that students at the School are comfortable when carrying out the teaching process
REVIT ARCHITECTURE 2013 SOCIALIZATION FOR VOCATIONAL SCHOOL IN SMK 4 TANGERANG
High school in Indonesia has two types, specifically senior high schools and vocational schools (SMK). Vocational high schools in Indonesia have a lot of education focus which aims to provide education to their students so they can work immediately. One of the vocational schools in Indonesia is the Tangerang 4 Vocational High School which focuses on education in engineering. One of the engineering scopes at SMK Negeri 4 Tangerang is "Drawing Technique for Building" (Teknik Gambar Bangunan). "Drawing Technique for Building" is a vocational class that specializes in learning how to draw techniques for houses and buildings. As vocational students of "Building Drawing Technique", each student must learn how to draw techniques according to ISO standards complete with various etiquettes in manually, after proficient in drawing manually, students must learn AutoCAD, an software for drawing because this becomes the main competency as students "Building Drawing Techniques". To increase the capacity and capabilities of its students at SMK 4 Tangerang, the Budi Luhur University Architecture Study Program introduces one of the software related to building drawing The software introduced in Revit Architecture version 2013. Revit Architecture 2013 is a software that aims to create building construction designs for architects and supports the concept of BIM (Building Information Modeling). AL ISRA MOSQUE TOILET REDESIGN IN EAST SUDIMARA VILLAGE, CILEDUG DISTRICT, TANGERANG CITY
A mosque is a place of worship for Muslims. The Ministry of Religion in Indonesia classifies and names the mosques. According to the Ministry of Religion and Dewan Masjid Indonesian (DMI), the classification of mosques: the main Jami mosque at the provincial level is named the Masjid Raya, the main Jami mosque at the district/city level is named the Masjid Agung, the main Jami mosque at the district level is named the Masjid Besar, and mosque at the village level is named Majid Jami. One of the Jami Mosques in Tangerang City is Al Isra Mosque, located on Winong Road, RT.03/RW.05, East Sudimara Village, Ciledug District, Tangerang City, Banten. The Al Isra Mosque was built in 2005 and is currently being developed. In 2018 the Al Isra Mosque was renovated by adding two floors, adding facilities, and changing the facade of the building. One of the facilities that have not been renovated is the toilets (bathroom and ablution). The toilets of the Al Isra Mosque needs to be renovated according to the latest development concept of the Al Isra Mosque. Renovations were carried out on the toilets floor height which was too low, there was only one male toilet, where the male ablution was outside the bathroom, and there were no canopies in the toilets building. Based on these conditions, the Department of Architecture at the Universitas Budi Luhur organized Community Development activities to make the renovation design of the toilets of the Al Isra Mosque. The purpose of the redesign of the mosque of the Al Isra Mosque is that the toilets provides comfort for the Congregation because it matches the architectural standards and the latest concept of the Al Isra Mosque. The method of implementing the activity uses the Architectural Design Process, by input from the Dewan Kemakmuran Masjid and architectural comfort standards.
