No full textAlphabetic name ordering on multi-authored academic papers, which is the convention in the economics discipline and various other disciplines, is to the advantage of people whose last name initials are placed early in the alphabet. As it turns out, Professor A, who has been a first author more often than Professor Z, will have published more articles and experienced afaster growth rate over the course of her career as a result of reputation and visibility. Saint Hubert in hunting culture, ceremonials and painting representations
No full textThere has been made an attempt to depict the impact of hunters ‘patron’s cult on the hunting culture as well as ceremonials and painting representations. The research subject of the given paper are the selected examples of Saint Hubert heritage meant by intellectual, spiritual and material acquis in its entirety. The analyses indicates that the cult of St. Hubert influenced significantly the culture and hunting rites as well as iconographic texts. The manifestation of St. Hubert cult can be various texts, churches and temples as well as temples devoted solely to their patron, organizing masses and celebrating in honor of the Saint and organizing painting exhibitions where the main theme is the St. Hubertus’ vision. The patron of hunters and foresters , becoming the gestalt unifying people close to woods and building the bond of belonging to a group, symbolizes the values respected by the previously mentioned occupations as well as being the vital part of spiritual and material heritage of the society.W pracy podjęta została próba określenia wpływu kultu patrona myśliwych na kulturę i obrzędowość myśliwską oraz przedstawienia malarskie.Przedmiotem badań w niniejszym artykule są wybrane przykłady dziedzictwa św. Huberta rozumiane jako całokształt duchowego i materialnego dorobku społeczeństwa. Ich analiza wskazuje, iż kult patrona myśliwych wpłynął znacząco na kulturę i obrzędowość myśliwską oraz teksty ikonograficzne. Przejawem kultu św. Huberta są różnego typu teksty językowe, kościoły i kaplice pod wezwaniem świętego oraz kapliczki jemu poświęcone, organizowane msze święte i uroczystości ku czci świętego oraz przedstawienia malarskie, których tematem jest wizja św. Huberta.Patron myśliwych i leśników, stając się postacią jednoczącą ludzi związanych z lasem, budującą poczucie przynależności do grupy, symbolizuje cenione przez nich wartości i jest ważną częścią duchowego i materialnego dorobku społeczeństwa
