Fundumental One-Dimensional Analysis of Photo-Diodes
Title: Fundumental One-Dimensional Analysis of Photo-Diodes, Author: T.B. Remple, Location: Thodethe program developed by A.M. Start, in his paper, Fundamental One-Dimentional Analysis of Transistors, Philips Research Report Supplements, #4, 1976, has been modified to handle high voltage, reversed biased p-i-n photo-diodes. The physical involved in the development of stark;s model is summarized and three different p-i-n diodes are analyzed. A Schottky barrier is also analyzed by assuming the metal contact is a very highly doped semiconductor material. A listing of the program is given in the appendices, as well as a description of the program and a user's guide. Te program is written in Fortran, was run on a CDC 6400 in double precision (giving 29 digits accuracy), requiring 45 k of memory and 300 to 1000 seconds run time.ThesisMaster of Engineering (ME

Natural and semisynthetic analogues of manadoperoxide B reveal new structural requirements for trypanocidal activity
Chemical analysis of the Indonesian sponge Plakortis cfr. lita afforded two new analogues of the potent trypanocidal agent manadoperoxide B (1), namely 12-isomanadoperoxide B (2) and manadoperoxidic acid B (3). These compounds were isolated along with a new short chain dicarboxylate monoester (4), bearing some interesting relationships with the polyketide endoperoxides found in this sponge. Some semi-synthetic analogues of manadoperoxide B (6-8) were prepared and evaluated for antitrypanosomal activity and cytotoxicity. These studies revealed crucial structure-activity relationships that should be taken into account in the design of optimized and simplified endoperoxyketal trypanocidal agents
CHAINels: Journal
A group of three students worked a couple of months at CHAINels for their computer science bachelor project. In these months a recommendation algorithm was designed and implemented in CHAINels. The recommendation algorithm recommends posts to a company and those posts are shown in the Journal which was also made during this project. In this report, every step of the design and implementation of the Journal and recommendation algorithm is explained.Software TechnologyElectrical Engineering, Mathematics and Computer Scienc
Integrity Housing: Providing Residence and Social Capital for Persons with Sex Offense Records
Master of Social Work (MSW)This paper proposes grant funding for Integrity Housing (IH), a community-based housing program that will provide residence and social support to individuals formerly incarcerated for sex offenses. Persons with sex offense records need housing and social supports in order to reduce homelessness and prevent recidivism. We will align with law enforcement and community values to provide a home and place of healing to perpetrators of sexual violence. Our mission is to support persons formerly incarcerated for sex offenses in successful community integration. We aim to improve the lives and well-being of these individuals by providing housing, therapeutic services, and social support. The goal of this program is to foster successful community integration for 40- 50 individuals formerly incarcerated for sex offenses and at risk of homelessness. Within a framework of restorative justice and belief in housing as a human right, IH will assist client in achieving content, self-directed lives not compatible with sex offense recidivism. The grant proposal includes both theoretical and practical frameworks, valid measures of success, and a step-by-step vision of program implementation
