Family Album at the Venice Biennale
The Republic of Kosovo participated for the fourth time in the 58th Venice Biennale with the voluminous individual exhibition of the new work by Alban Muja. For the Kosovo Pavilion named \u27Family Album\u27, which is also the last edition of the Venice Biennale, Muja presented a new video installation that digs deep into the personal and collective memory from the Kosovo War (1998-1999) taking on question the role of images and media in constructing and shaping narrative, identity and history, especially in times of conflict. This project as well as the almost one year experience of the realization of this project, in the most important art event in the world, will be presented and discussed by the author of the project, the lecturer Alban Muja
On Identity and Reality in the Main Works, Poetics and Weblog of Alban Nikolai Herbst
This study is the first monograph exclusively covering the oeuvre of the German contemporary author Alban Nikolai Herbst. It centres on his main works – a loose pentalogy starting with Die Verwirrung des Gemüts (1983), followed by Wolpertinger oder Das Blau (1993) and the Anderswelt-Trilogy, of which Thetis (1998) and Buenos Aires (2001) were covered – as well as the literary weblog Die Dschungel (since 2004). The study serves as a fundamental introduction to the complex and difficult novels and to Herbst’s poetics in general. The text analyses focus on the author’s conceptions of identity and reality

This article is meant for language teachers working with (young) adults in search of information about how to associate written tasks and simulation in an institutional environment. The stress is put on the progression of the learner’s writing-abilities by a selfcontrolled analysis, the error-profile, which makes him more autonomous and thus prepares the extra-institutional learning phases. The foreign language used is German. The author pleads for a teaching style, where the foreign language -written and oral -holds its natural role as a communication-instrument and is not the object of communication, leading the learner to profession-oriented tasks, using his/ her creativity to improve the results, while having fun.
Commenting on Propaganda: Virgilian Engagement in Servius’ Commentaries.
An epic set in the distant Trojan past, which is the origin of the Urbs, the Aeneid is a song glorifying Rome''s antecedent history leading up to the principate : it features the hero Aeneas as well as Augustus, despite his mere three mentions. In Servius’ Commentary on the Aeneid, the author asserts on several occasions that praise for the Prince is indeed present in the poem and attempts to identify the many passages where Virgil, propagandist that he is, would have either overtly or covertly glorified Augustus. In this article, I shall demonstrate that, by means of the statements of the commentator, it is possible to come upon several longstanding rhetorical tropes: illustrious comparison, comparisons of superiority and inferiority, mutual praise.Épopée située à l’époque des lointaines origines troyennes de l’Urbs, l’Énéide constitue également un chant à la gloire de l’ensemble de l’histoire romaine, jusqu’au début du principat : tout autant qu’Énée, le héros en est aussi Auguste, quoiqu’il y soit mentionné trois fois seulement. Baudou Alban. Bacterial, Fungal, and Protozoal Microflora of Hay
Herbivores feed on plant structural carbohydrates such as lignin, cellulose, and hemicellulose, which they are not able to utilize themselves because of their inability to produce respective hydrolytic enzymes. Therefore, symbiotic microorganisms are established in their alimentary tracts that can hydrolyze these compounds to generate energy for themselves, as well as for the host animal. This study aimed to the qualitative determination of bacterial, fungal and protozoal microflora in hay (dry grass) harvested from the lowland meadow in Bradash village, municipality of Podujeva. Based on the results, the number of microflora represented differs in the first, second, and third test. The number of microflora, bacteria, yeasts, and molds has been low in the first test, respectively high in the third test

The Campbells: lordship, literature and liminality
The Campbells have the potential to offer much to the theme of literature and borders, given that the kindred’s astonishing political success in the late medieval and early modern period depended heavily upon the ability to negotiate multiple frontiers: between Highlands and Lowlands; between Gaelic Scotland and Ireland, and, especially after the Reformation, with England and the matter of Britain. This paper will explore the literary dimension to Campbell expansionism, from the Book of the Dean of Lismore in the earlier sixteenth century, to poetry addressed to dukes of Argyll in the earlier eighteenth century. Particular attention will be paid to the literary proclivities of the household of the Campbells of Glenorchy on either side of what appears to be a major watershed in 1550; and to the agenda of the Campbell protégé John Carswell, first post-Reformation bishop of the Isles, and author of the first printed book in Gaelic in either Scotland or Ireland, Foirm na n-Urrnuidheadh (‘The Form of Prayers’), published at Edinburgh in 1567
