No full textMorabia Hausmann & Tujuba, 2020 Tujuba et al. (2020): 71. Type species: Morabia politzari Hausmann & Tujuba, 2020 Characterisation of the genus. The species of the genus are characterised by the ciliate-fasciculate male-, and filiform female antenna, the broad labial palp densely covered in scales and the presence of two pairs of unequal spurs of the hind tibia in both sexes. The coloration of the wing upperside is dull greyish-brown ornamented by zigzagged and gently arcuate blackish antemedial-, medial-, postmedial- and terminal transverse lines and vestigial discal spots. The pattern of the underside of the wings makes the Morabia species unmistakeable due to the pale greyish-ochreous ground colour, the lack of transverse lines, and the presence of large, blackish, round subapical blotches and sharply defined discal spots on both fore- and hindwings. In the male genitalia, the uncus is short and very broad basally (except for M. distinctaria and M. hero where it is narrow, digitiform) and densely setose apically. The valva possesses a well-sclerotized sacculus, a narrow, often strongly setose, tapered distal section, and a large, moderately setose dorsal process (costal arm). The aedeagus is narrow and elongate with the vesica bearing a long, stout cornutus, except for M. distinctaria and M. hero where the aedeagus is relatively short and the cornutus is very short and thin. The female genitalia of the genus are characterised by the relatively long and broad ovipositor bearing very long and thin apophyses, and the short, rounded-quadrangular 8 th tergite. The ostium bursae is moderately sclerotized, funnel- or cup-shaped with weakly sclerotized lamella ante- and postvaginalis.
